This fully furnished one-bedroom, one-bath, corner apartment. It has been completely remodeled with an emphasis on style and comfort. Unique in that every room has a fabulous view.

The location was the best aspect. There was a shopping mall and several smaller grocery stores nearby. It was close to a subway stop and there were street fairs on the week.

Great communication and the view is indeed great

The property is as described. Everything you need is there. The location is great. I am a regular visitor to BA and I will stay here again. What is important to me is great communication. Valarie and Alma provide that. There is nothing worse than standing at the curb wondering if you will get in. No worries here. I recommend this property for a couple or single traveler

Great Stay

Wonderful quiet location close to everything we needed, high floor with, yes, an excellent view. Not fancily decorated but it was comfortable and immaculate and that's what matters to us. Owner lives in Florida but her agent in Buenos Aires was extremely responsive and informative. Complete kitchen we didn't use much since we went out all the time (although it could use some paper towels.) One potential maintenance issue: it was quite hot while we were there and while the air conditioning in the living room worked perfectly, we couldn't get the thermostat in the bedroom air conditioning to work and as such it was on constantly and it was always quite chilly in there. Given the outside temps, that's better than the alternative.I had great difficulties getting the VRBO site to work and their customer service people were awful, but the owner jumped in, communicated directly with me and worked with VRBO to eventually get the site working well enough that I could do the rental. Wouldn't have happened without all her efforts.Only criticism is that the bed felt much more like a queen than the advertised king. Maybe size definitions differ there, but it was definitely smaller than the king size bed we have at home.

Great communication,excellent location and truly, WHAT A VIEW!

We stayed for four nights in this Recoleta apartment, conveniently located for exploring Buenos Aires. The linens and bath towels were excellent quality, and our sleeping was sound! The best part was communication before, during and after our trip. Valerie gave us helpful information. Cata met us at the apartment when we arrived, as well as when we departed. She also contacted us to make sure everything was fine during our stay. The small apartment, in an area that felt safe, with an amazing view is perfect for a base to explore Buenos Aires.Buenos Aires.sleepincomfortable.

Recoleta Perfection

This comfortable apartment is in a desirable neighborhood in a very secure building. It has everything you could possibly need. The views of the cemetery can't be beat. We were here over New Years and had an amazing view of the fireworks from the balcony. The owner is the most responsive owner I have ever dealt with and her local representative, Alma, is the same. We were met at arrival and shown around the apartment and everything was explained. All questions we had were answered. They arranged a ride for us from the airport which was greatly appreciated and the cost was very reasonable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if I ever get to return to Bunos Aires.

Perfect Stay

We are SO HAPPY we picked this apartment for our first visit to Buenos Aires. Everything was top notch. It is situated in an ideal location for restaurants, hop on hop off bus, galleries, etc. The neighbourhood is safe and clean. The apartment was everything as described, clean and spacious. The building itself has a friendly concierge who is on hand, if needed. Thank you so much Valerie and Alma for looking after us. If we ever get back to BA we will definitely stay with you again.

Hidden gem!

For our first, but definitely not last, visit to Buenos Aires, we chose well with this Vrbo. The location is ideal, near shopping, good restaurants, a famous cemetery, and close to one of the city's airports. The members of the management team - owner Valerie, Ana Maria, and Máximo - were solicitous, friendly, and helpful with suggestions for activities in the area and places to eat. That said, we have to get to some tango next time! Great place to stay for two people.

Wonderful apartment! Gorgeous view

My friend and I traveled to BA to join our tango group. We stayed for 4 nights and it was perfect. Love the location and neighborhood. Everything was convenient. Valerie, Max and Ana were available to answer questions. Ana met us and had picked up sandwich and water for us since it was lunchtime- she was very informative and helpful. We miss it already Anne will be back.

Amazing apt with stunning views of Recoleta cemetery.

Our host was so easy to deal with and very kind. The apartment had we everything we needed and a very good quiet air conditioner. So nice to soak in the tub and look at one of the most beautiful cemeteries in Argentina. This was the best place on our South American winter holiday.

Fabulous Location and HOST!!!!!!!

I cannot say enough nice things about Maximo, who welcomed us with open arms from the second we got there. He had a bottle of wine waiting for my mom and I as well as helped us with our suitcases and answered any questions that we had when we first got there. Unfortunately on the second day my mom got really sick and Maximo called an ambulance and he stayed with me for over four hours, and took care of absolutely everything…..this man deserves an award!!! He went above and beyond…..I honestly cannot say enough nice things. Fortunately everything is fine with my mom and the rest of our stay was absolutely fantastic!!! The location is key and is near absolutely everything from coffee to bars to shopping and of course amazing sightseeing! The view is absolutely spectacular. The air conditioning is a Wonder!!!! Maximo kept in contact with us during our entire stay with whatever I needed. He was there to help!!!! And then, of course, on the day that we were leaving, Maximo showed up and helped us to our Ubers with our suitcases! A perfect host and wonderful human being!!! Thank you again for everything!!!❤️❤️❤️

Buenos Amazing!

Let me just say, that Valerie (the owner) and her manager Maximo (on-site contact) were simply the best people we have ever had a transaction with. The flat was centrally located and easy to get around. Recoleta is the more "upscale" area of Palermo. Walking around we saw the Four Seasons and mansions on the other side. However, after hanging out in both areas, we still prefer this area. Every single person was kind. Just downstairs, a market for most items you will need & vegetables. Pastry, empanadas, barber shops, and sightseeing all right there. Recoleta Cemetery is a lazy American walking 4-5 minutes to the entry, the side wall is 20 yards away from the flat. Valerie is so sweet and kind. When she found out it was our anniversary and wife's birthday she took a little off the additional day we stayed. Maximo, AKA really sweetheart of a man, with plenty of knowledge of the city and what people generally need. He sat with us until we asked every question and still answered WhatsApp messages. We also got a bottle of Argentine wine which was amazing. This was our first VRBO stay and it's a little different than A-BnB. Thank you Valerie and Max for your kindness and we will be back. Heck, I may be back next week, we weren't able to spend 150,000 peso's and we can't sell them back here in the USA. BTW go to San Telmo Market, Western Union for pesos and use pesos vs CC as much as possible. My Amex showed triple of what I purchased. Aside from that wonderful time.

Good location with a great view

Stayed for 10 weeks, working remotely. The wifi was excellent the entire time. The building is quite old with two small elevators, but the flat has been updated with most everything you need. We rarely cooked as eating out was more fun and, when we were there, less expensive. Max (the flat manager) and Valerie (the owner) responded to all requests quickly and even replaced the A/C unit when it malfunctioned. The location is safe with a vibrant night life of clubs, restaurants and bars on the street below. Easy walking to many of the museums and interesting attractions. One last note: Due to extreme heat much of the city was subject to power outages (sometimes for a week or more) but we never experienced loss of power for more than a couple of hours one night.

Perfect location and exceptional service!

The view from this apartment is amazing. From every window in every room you can see Recoleta cemetery. It was very safe - the apartment and the neighborhood. Lots of great places to walk to and delicious restaurants. Valerie was very easy to communicate with and her caretaker Max was super helpful and kind. Highly recommend!

Clean and central

This rental was very clean and lovely. It was central to everything we wanted to do and see in Buenos Aires. The property manager, Maximo, was very kind and accommodating.

Great location! We had 4 adults and had no problem with the size of the apartment, but Valerie did warn us before confirming our booking that some people find it a little small for 4 which was appreciated!

Home in the city

It is a cozy apartment, with and incredible view. In a wonderful neighborhood which is comfortably walkable. There is plenty to see within walking distance and with the subway a block away, it puts the rest of Buenos Aires within easy reach. If we get to Buenos Aires again we will certainly consider this as our home away from home. Will gladly recommend it to friends. The host and apartment manager were helpful and accommodating after a horrible experience we had at our first rental. Wished we had chosen this for both our stays in Buenos Aires.

Excellent apartment and manager

Valerie's apartment is as described with beautiful views. Maximo was the best when my daughter left her cell phone on a tour bus and we could not contact them. He responded immediately when we had a plumbing problem. Thanks Maximo, you were great.

Great Location. Easy access to everything.

Great location in Recoleta and convenient to everything. Accommodation was a bit dated and smaller than anticipated. Good space for 2 adults but not for 4. Max was very responsive and helpful. Bed was too soft and needs replacement.

After working on and off in Buenos Aires for many years, in 2003 we finally came for vacation. We had such a great time...we loved the people, the architecture, the art...and of course the food. We decided we'd like to spend more time in Buenos Aires and in 2004, we cashed in our stock options for this apartment. Today, we live in Naples, Florida, but have a great manager who meets and greets our guests.

We wanted to own an apartment in a major city that didn't require us to drive - a walking city, with good mass transportation or inexpensive taxis. It needed to have great architecture, style, art, music...and of course, incredible food.

We found Buenos Aires to have all this and more...and at a much lower cost than Europe. Like New York or Paris, every neighborhood is a new adventure.

We love the sidewalk cafes, the weekend art fairs, biking through the parks of Palermo. And while we always heard the steaks were great, no one ever told us about the homemade pasta...incredible.
