Wonderful balcony views, high ceilings, and a spacious master bedroom make this breezy upper-level apartment the perfect spot for a relaxing beach getaway. It features two full bathrooms, a large master bedroom, a cozy bonus bedroom with bunk beds, a comfortable living room with a pullout sofa bed, and an open dining area with a fully equipped kitchen.

Amenities include: Internet, Smart TV, washer/dryer, BBQ gas grill, conventional oven, microwave, and dishwasher.

Notes: No pets allowed. No hotel amenities or golf cart provided. One car permit only. No parties or gatherings allowed — the villa is strictly for registered guests’ use.

We loved our stay in Rio Mar. Margarita was such a pleasure. First the view is amazing from the unit. Also, everything you need it there, beach and pool towels, suppliers for laundry and dishes and hiking poles, you name it. We met up with Mararita for a quick tour in San Juan, lovely lady. Great place for a couples escape. Super nice beach for long walks and a quiet retreat.

Awesome villa!

We enjoy our family time! The villa has everything you need and more! Love the space, the view, the goodies for personal use, the security. Didn't have any problem. Margarita, the host, is friendly and she's available in case you have any question. Definitively coming back.

Excellent place to stay

The place is awesome pool right next-door high top security Beach 5 minutes drive. My wife and I had a wonderful experience will be back definite. Rainforest, horseback riding and restaurants.

Double booked

VRBO double booked this unit. After being charged and receiving a confirmation email with codes to access the unit when checking in found out that the unit was also reserved for the same days to another party and we were out on a place to stay the week. This was planned ahead of time as a family trip vacation.

Weekend getaway

Great place. Two adults and three children. Space was perfect . Spent the weekend . Equipped and clean. Property manager was available to answer any questions . Great location ! Highly recommended !

Waking up in paradise!

This little home was so pleasant! We woke up to sunshine and sea breeze every morning, and a gorgeous view that drew us out to the deck throughout the day. The unit had a fun old-world style while supplying modern needs; amenities were all there: washer & dryer, kitchen with everything needed, comfortable bed, good strong WiFi, and AC that adjusted easily with a remote. Fun and adventurous activities (like El Yunque and Bio Bay tour) we’re close by, along with good restaurants. We loved our stay in this bit of paradise!

Great location and flexible check out

This condo was in a good location. The condo and grounds are a little outdated / older but still nice. The patio had great views and the host was very accommodating. The condo is well stocked with everything you might need.

Rio Mar

Rio Mar is perfect for families and anyone seeking a quick getaway. You are close to the Rain Forest, Luquillo and Fajardo and all the water sports you could want. The facility needs a little updating but the price is good. They were very comfortable and you can walk to the swimming pool (a one minute walk). The beach is beautiful and there’s another beautiful pool there also. You will need a car or rent a golf cart to get around. The manager is excellent and had everything ready. Check in and out was a breeze. Security is excellent and the guards are friendly, courteous and very helpful. There’s golf and tennis and great restaurants at the Wyndham hotel. There’s also a gorgeous view from the bedroom and the balcony of the golf course and El Yunque rain forest! Thanks Margarita.

Excellent host, beautiful property!

Margarita is an incredibly hospitable host! She offered lots of helpful information in advance about the surrounding area and suggestions for things to do, restaurants, etc... She was available by phone to answer any questions quickly during our stay. The home was very well stocked and clean! We had everything we needed and were quite comfortable. The neighbors in the area are also very gracious and welcoming. I would highly recommend both this property and Margarita as a host! Thank you again, Margarita, for such an enjoyable stay!

Amazing views

The villa sits facing east with a great view of the golf course. It is appropriately named Breeze since there is great cross ventilation. Kitchen was well equipped. Has a full bathroom adjacent to the living room which is a plus. Margarita was very attentive to our communications. Certainly would like to be back.

Amazing Stay!

First of all, the view of the golf course from the balcony is BEAUTIFUL! My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at this Rio Mar Villa. The layout of the villa was perfect and having two bathrooms was a bonus! The apartment was clean and comfortable. We rented a golf-cart and were able to enjoy all of the facilities provided by Rio Mar and the Wyndham Resort, including the beach, casino and restaurants! The Rio Mar Cluster #2 pool is easily accessible with a short walk from the villa. The double gated security provided, made us feel very comfortable and secure. Security, maintenance crew and neighbors were friendly and hospitable. Although the villa is older and could use some updating, it is a great place to stay! The only downside was, we could have used additional towels and sheets for both the bed and the sofa-bed in the living room. There is so much to do in Rio Grande like visiting El Yunque and Luquillo Beach, please consider this villa! My family and I couldn't have picked a better place to stay!

I am Margarita, this property is own by my dear brother Eduardo and his wife Ana. We love this place and had wonderful memories in this charming villa. We are a family from Puerto Rico. Eduardo and Ana are both engineers and I am an architect. It is a pleasure for us to share this place with you all!

We live here in the San Juan area. I am personally available is needed. We use the villa often and keep updating it all the time. The balcony has a spectacular view into the golf course and El Yunque mountains. The furnishing is simple and amenities are provided so you can feel at home.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The villa is in a very secure area, inside the Wyndham complex., with a security guard 24 hours Cluster II gate. The pool / jacuzzi are is open until 10pm.

The Wyndham Resort, within the complex, is an excellent choice for dinner and drinks, playing at the casino, and enjoying the Caribbean nightlife. However, those looking for a local culinary experience may want to venture out on a 10-minute drive to the Luquillo “Kioskos,” where you can enjoy some of the best local dishes, which include a fantastic array of seafood, “pastelillos” (turnovers), “mofongo” (mashed plantains stuffed with seafood or chicken), and plantain chips locally known as “tostones.”

Situated across from El Yunque National Rainforest Park and a short drive away from one of Puerto Rico’s bio bays, this villa provides the perfect home-base for adventure seekers. Enjoy picturesque hiking trails, waterfalls, tropical plants, and bird watching at the only rainforest in the national park system, or book a day of watersports (snorkeling, sailing, kayaking, etc) at Las Cabezas de San Juan Bio Bay. If you’re feeling extra adventurous, take the ferry to Vieques, which is home to one of the world’s premier bioluminescent bays or Culebra Island’s famed Flamenco Beach, which is rated one of the best in the world.
