The Cove at Fairview is open again! Our rental homes are as inviting as ever.
There are many things to do in the Asheville Area. You have your choice of many restaurants, bars, and breweries in both Fairview and nearby Asheville.
The Biltmore House, the Arboretum, the Asheville Museum, and parts of the Blue Ridge Parkway (with access to some trails) are all open.
Go shopping downtown, play pinball at the Asheville Pinball Museum, take a comedy bus tour with LaZoom, go horseback riding, get a massage, or simply relax in the serenity of nature at your rental home. Oh, and don’t forget to get carrots for the horses, mini-donkeys, and our goat!

Enjoy a romantic get-away or a private retreat at the "Garden Cabin." Relax in the comfort of this charming cabin. Watch the moon rise over the mountains from the comfort of your private hot tub. Watch the water wheel spin and enjoy the beauty of Lotus Flowers and Koi Fish in the pond right next to the cabin. This home features a flat screen HDTV, a beautiful queen bed, and a fully-equipped kitchen with quartz counter tops. Enjoy the rustic elegance of refurbished wood. The logs in the cabin come from the mid 1800's. The walls are finished with refurbished oak and wormy chestnut boards and there is furniture made from refurbished wormy chestnut. There is a wood burning stove with a fireplace front.

The Cove at Fairview has many wonderful amenities. There is a gas and charcoal combo grill. Enjoy Koi Falls - which features two Koi ponds, several small waterfalls, and water plants. Visit our two horses – they always love carrots. Fresh eggs from our chickens provided. The Cove at Fairview is located just 15 minutes from downtown Asheville and the Biltmore House. We are only 10 minutes to The Blue Ridge Parkway.

Frank was a gracious host, helping to quickly ameliorate a temporary electrical issue with the hot tub on a cool December night. Peaceful, quiet location 20min from all the highlights of tourist Asheville

Frank was super great to stay with. The cabin was so cute and he met us there at check in to tell us all about the cabin and his property and give suggestions on places to go. The hot tub was perfect for 2, the kitchen had everything you could want and the bed was nice and comfy. We would definitely come back.

Every aspect of our stay was amazing. The TV was not working in our unit. Without requesting it we were upgraded to another unit. Frank, the owner, was fantastic and went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable.

Second time staying here and can’t wait to come back

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay at this property for the second time now. The cabin is perfect, it is comfortable, clean, beautiful and has everything you need. The location is ideal, close to Asheville and amazing places to hike and visit but also private, peaceful and located on a beautiful farm. Our host was wonderful, available to help with just about anything and had the best recommendations for places to eat, drink, and visit. Loved the guided horseback trail experience he offered to arrange for us. So grateful for the experience and looking forward to coming back.

Wonderful stay!

The cabin is so cute. The location is great, felt super close to everything but far enough from the city that it felt like an escape. Frank was such a lovely host- he greeted us and was available for any questions or requests and was just all around great. We got to feed the animals as well which was so much fun. We had a beautiful stay and would highly recommend!

Lovely getaway

My partner and I stayed at the garden cabin for a few nights as a vacation before starting a new job. Our host was excellent and super accommodating. Frank even made sure to communicate with us and was always readily available for any questions and was very knowledgeable about the area. The property was gorgeous and we would love to return!

Beautiful cabin and close to Asheville

If you want a quiet place to stay and close to Asheville, this is it! Frank is so nice and was just a call/text away if we needed anything. The cabin is gorgeous and has everything you need to cook with and it has a washer & dryer!! The bed is very comfortable! We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings and listening to the beautiful sound of nature. We will definitely stay here again!

Garden Cabin

This place was beautiful! Layout and landscaping! Flowers smelled great coming in. Loved feeding the fish and horses and animals:) privacy was perfect too!:) Will most definately stay here again! Check in with the host was fast and he gave us alot of good ideas and was prepared with a packet of other options and things to do ready for us! Loved this cabin!

Perfection

Check in was easy and smooth! The owners were so kind and accommodating and made our vacation amazing. Everything you need is at the cabin and if you need a grocery store or restaurants they are only a short drive away. Even with things so close, you are still tucked away and a beautiful quiet cabin. Would recommend and will be returning ourselves

Exceeded expectations, amazing experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the experiences made possible by this property and host. So much that we decided to extend our stay! The cabin was comfortable, conveniently located, private, part of a beautiful larger property, and had everything we needed. Our host, Frank, was personable, hospitable, gracious, and all around “good people.” He went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and preferences in every way, from prompt communication before and throughout our stay to being flexible when our arrival time changed to providing excellent recommendations for local dining, hiking trails, amazing sights and other activities. We are so grateful and will definitely be coming back!

The most relaxing environment

Me and my husband had a 2 night get away from our 4 kids. The cabin and property that Frank has cultivated is the most relaxing place to be when you want to escape normal life. We had a wonderful time reconnecting. We spent time at koi falls, visiting the farm animals. The hot tub was a great extra for us to relax in and work the stress away. Frank works with an amazing masseuse and I HIGHLY recommend you book a massage with her. Me and my husband couldn’t be happier with how peaceful and put together this property is.

Quaint cabin and property

This was such a lovely place to stay. The cabin was beautiful and the kitchen was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and feeding the farm animals. We will definitely want to stay here again if we come back to the Ashville area.

After retiring from a 33 year career in sales management/ marketing, we visited our oldest daughter Etta and fell in love with Asheville. We moved to the Asheville Area in 2002 and lived in the house that became our first rental, “Our House.” (We built a cabin on the property and moved into it). Soon to follow, came our youngest daughter, Farris, and her now husband Danny. In 2009 their daughter Alyssa arrived and in 2015 Haley was born, making this a true family business.

We fell in love with Asheville and all it has to offer. We then decided to share the beauty of the Asheville Area and the hospitality of the Smokey Mountains with others. “Our House” and “My Roundette” were on the property when we originally bought it. Both have since been remodeled. We then purchased additional land and built “My Place,” “The Huntley,” “The Garden Cabin,” and “Hideout.”

The Cove at Fairview is a family business that offers high quality rental homes. We utilize reclaimed wood in our houses as well as offering luxurious amenities. Our homes are truly have rustic mountain elegance.
All of the homes have private places to gather, such as porches and decks. Our larger homes feature indoor/ outdoor fireplaces.
While being very private and close to nature, you are still afforded all of the conveniences of technology such as high-speed internet.
Kick back, relax, and have a true retreat or a wonderful place to land after an exhausting day of fun (downtown is only 15 minutes away). Downtown Asheville has many restaurants and shops, as well as many as well many outdoor activities nearby including hiking. There are breweries and several restaurants in our town of Fairview. There is something nearby for everyone!
