Contactless Check-In & Check-Out

This is a unique mountain home with beautiful private outdoor oasis! The folk architecture style designed and created by the owner is breathtaking. There are cozy, romantic areas throughout. The owner has gone to great lengths to create beauty and character in every room in the house. From the compass rose inlay to the copper trim---there are architectural surprises everywhere you look. The property includes a hot tub, fireplace with gas logs, covered porch, fire pit, gas grill, and beautiful deck with year round view of the mountains. The Escape has a full kitchen stocked with ample equipment needed to prepare gourmet meals, a separate dining room surrounded by glass, and a breakfast nook with a view of the mountains. The bedroom hosts an antique iron queen bed with luxury bedding, and large dressing room. The two full bathrooms are beautiful with granite vanities and walk-in showers. The living room has a full size couch, stress-less recliner, flat screen TV with cable package, sound system, and wireless internet. It is difficult to describe the many details and features in the amazing Escape!
The property is located just minutes away from downtown Asheville, the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Grove Park Inn, and the Biltmore Estate. Also, there are many nearby outdoor adventure activities: hiking, whitewater rafting, snow and water tubing, zip lining, kayaking, horseback riding, fly fishing, mountain biking, climbing, snow skiing, and waterfall tours.

Spend the day in downtown Asheville dining, tasting our local beers, shopping or people watching.

Great day trips to nearby small towns: Waynesville, Hendersonville, Brevard, Flat Rock, Chimney Rock, Highlands, and Cashiers. Scenic routes to each, with great lunch spots. Enjoy shopping for locally made crafts in the quaint atmosphere of small mountain towns.

For guests who bring their dogs there is a neighborhood green space for fetching just 1/2 mile from the house.

The home was completely cozy and inviting and clean as a whistle. We love the location and the property actually has a feeling of being secluded. Our two dogs absolutely loved the back yard and we felt completely secure for them!I have one suggestion for benefit of folks like us who stayed in and cooked all our meals- the kitchen was missing just a couple essentials. A big pot to boil pasta water, a measuring cup, a few more glasses and dishes, plated and bowls. Just a suggestion.We will be returning for sure!

Great fenced yard for our dog to go out and enjoy. We were so glad to be able to bring her with us. The hot tub was a wonderful amenity and easily accessible from the bedroom. Loved the interior of the house with such a large kitchen and two full baths. So many extras and beautifully decorated!

This is a wonderful unique property that’s conveniently located to everything you would want to do in Asheville! It’s a great bonus that it is pet friendly and the host is responsive and all the extra little touches were just darling! I would definitely recommend and we will definitely stay again.

The amenities were great! The house was clean and exceeded all expectations. I would definitely stay here again. Our dog enjoyed the spacious backyard and the hot tub was a great addition!

Beautiful cottage! Located in a private, quiet area minutes from downtown Asheville. We loved that we could bring our dog as the entire property is fenced. The hot tub was great after hiking each day!

We loved the pet friendly property!! It was such a nice place to stay during a hectic wedding weekend. Although I give the place 5 stars, please note the mattress is VERY firm. So if you like a firm mattress—great news! If not—be prepared (and maybe pack a mattress topper :) ) thank you so much for having us—we will definitely keep this place in mind if we come back to the Asheville area!

This was our fourth visit and once again the home was well kept, and clean. Dogs enjoyed side yard as we enjoyed the hot tub and porch. Perfect location for easily exploring Asheville and all of WNC. We will return for our fifth visit soon.

The property is secluded but not far from town. The hot tub was nice and the house is in great shape. The house is nicely decorated and comfortable. Our little girl (dog) loved running around the yard.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was immaculate and well-stocked for cooking. The yard was very private and great for our dog. We enjoyed the view The host was very helpful before we booked to help us find a place yhat could accommodate a trailer and motorcycle. It was perfect.

Amazing visit

We had a wonderful visit in this adorable house. The kitchen is well stocked. The patios are shaded and have lovely chairs. Great Wi-Fi access and easy access into town and close to lots of grocery stores. Very responsive owners. We had a fabulous time!!

We stay here every year with our dogs. It’s a good location, nice house, fenced-in yard and hot tub. Short drives to restaurants, hiking and biking. Highly recommend!

He loves nature---both at the coast and in the mountains. Jeff has poured his heart and soul into making this space an oasis for couples to enjoy. Jeff often travels to the North Carolina coast where he is renovating two historic homes. He enjoys spending time in the mountains with his family while continuing to build in this community.

Jeff was originally drawn to Asheville from the west coast by the relaxed lifestyle and ample access to beautiful mountains and rushing waters. He fell in love with this house and this part of Asheville 22 years ago. Since then, he has worked to renovate the space into a mountain dream house. It is both private and close to town---the best of both worlds. This is such a wonderful place and he wanted to share it with others as they traveled to the mountains of Western North Carolina. We all work so hard these days and forget how important it is to nurture ourselves and our relationships. This is an amazing, private romantic place that is appealing to adults of all ages.
