the location is prefect, just 4min away from mountain creep; and the instruction from the host is very clear and detailed. The apartment is a little bit aged but all is good.

Place was dirty bed looked like somebody slept in it and they just left the sheets on there so bought my own sheets and pillows we made the bed with my stuff

Great location, suitable unit, great owner

Everything is a "5" except I gave the overall rating a "4" just because the unit has only 1 bathroom (which it advertises to have) ... just is a little hard if there are adults staying that are not related to one another. But was a great place, great area, and the owner could not have been more helpful. Unit had everything in it one would need. Thank you!

Very convenient location

The condo is a 5-minute walk from the Granite lift, which was very convenient. The kitchen had everything we needed. The pictures are accurate. There are plenty of sleeping spaces, the sofa in the living room can be turned into a queen bed. The condo is quite small like all condos in Great Gorge village. There is a smoking smell issue in the small bedroom (the one with the bunk beds), it's none of the owner's fault - the neighbors across the wall smoke and it leaks into this bedroom. We could sleep there during the week with open door, but could not use it during weekend days and had to keep the door closed. With the closed door, the smell does not leak to other areas of the condo (I am sensitive to smells). This was not really an issue for us as there were plenty of other sleeping spaces. This is a corner unit, which is nice and right next to the parking lot. It has a balcony from the living room, which faces the parking lot. We would stay here again but I would consider it a two-bedroom. The neighborhood is quiet and the proximity to the lift is very convenient.

Great Place to Stay

Easy communication with property owner. Place was clean and plenty of room and beds. Would stay again when coming out to Mountain Creek Resort.

Worst place and service I have ever experienced!

The place itself looks nothing like the pictures owner has posted. The walls were completely stained and dirty. It smelled funky. The bathroom didn't work. The kitchen was disgusting. There are spiderwebs everywhere. The furniture is old and outdated, not even mentioning the decoration! When I talked to the owner he got very upset and said that all the guests he has had never complained before and he ended up hanging up on me! I had such a sad experience in this place! Please don't go there!

It was an easy access convenient location with plenty to do locally. The accommodations have plenty of space and is well stocked. We enjoyed our stay!!

An average place

My family of four stayed in the condo for two nights in October. The condo offered everything we needed however it certainly needs updating. The walls need painting, the bathroom sink is chipped, the tv is old, the decorations are from the 1980's and there is no wifi. When we arrived there was very little toilet paper and none to be found. Gary responded to my email immediately saying the cleaning service would stop by with more toilet paper. They never did. Despite all this it was quiet, clean and suited our needs.

Overpriced and outdated

If you are a large group of twenty somethings, and just need a bed then book it. Other than that, don't bother. Forget that the decor is stuck in the eighties, the place is just dirty, marks on the walls. Water damage on the ceiling, can see by the plaster that is falling off at the top of the walls, carpet stains. I suspect that the bare minimum is done to make this place rentable. A lot of things are in need of replacing or fixing. Patio door does not open well blinds are chipped or broken, stair railing has a broken weld at the top which could cause a serious accident. Stove looks like it is about to fall apart, so on and so on. I say this cause your security deposit can easily be kept for something that fell apart just cause of neglect on owners part. Prior to this I spent 2 days at a place in Jersey closer to the city, place was 200$ cheaper, better stocked, great looking, and host was accommodating.

Interesting

Location was great. Near all the amenities. Decor was interesting. Kitchen needs to be updated desperately. Owner was quick to respond to our needs when we found it wasn't stocked with basics like toilet paper or a functioning microwave. Overall it was a good experience. Very spacious if all you need are sleeping accommodations.

Excellent Stay nice location.

Really nice, really clean. While not listed in the amenities, we were surprised that there wasn't a toaster in the location. We coped, but it was surprising. Clean sheets, comphy enough beds.. It sleeps 8 but it's 3 queens and bunk beds so it sleeps 4 couples but if you aren't comfortable sharing a bed you might be sleeping on the leather/pleather couches which are perfectly fine for sleeping. It's right on top of the mountain maybe a 2 minute drive to parking or a 10 minute walk... We stayed there for an Obstacle Course race, we'll seriously consider it should we do the race again next year. Strongly recommended

Dirty Place

I went there with my wife and 3 daughters. Could not stay because the place was filthy. Used water bottles found under the bed, and wrappers found behind furniture. Beds of extremely poor quality especially in the loft. Used soap bar in bathroom. Bathroom sink scoured and in poor condition.

Mountain Vacation in NJ

We were supposed to go tent camping with our four daughters but the forecast called for major rain. So this rental turned out to be a great option. Plenty of sleeping space while being as cozy as sitting around a campfire. The girls loved it. Plenty of time to talk, play games, hike, and basically have that great connection time. Too cold to swim but the community pool looked good. And the bears made it all the more memorable. We had fun watching the cubs play.
