Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The drawers in the bedroom dresser stuck, the TV didn't work, the bed was extremely uncomfortable and who puts carpet in a property on the beach. And no privacy in the bedroom as there is no doybd barrier to the outside

The place was immaculate and very well stocked. Couldn't think of 1 thing we needed. Even had a cooler to take with us for the day's excursions. We loved the location and view of the water!

While the property is a little older, it is well maintained. The location was great for us- close to two beaches, a convenience store, restaurants, and the amazing Nepali Brewery. The view of the ocean is amazing. We woke up each morning and watched waves, surfers, and fishermen.

The condo was perfectly and thoughtfully furnished. The entire property was very well maintained with gorgeous landscaping and an excellent pool area.

Condo was clean, if outdated. A couple of suggestions - check whats in the kitchen cabinets. There's a broken scissors, mismatched glasses. A whine in the shower & the tub bottom looks dirty. There were no ammenities, i.e. shampoo, etc. These little items make a difference between nice & very nice.

Perfect Kauai Stay: Great Location, Amazing Views, and Thoughtful Hospitality

The communication was excellent from the very beginning. The office where you pick up the keys is literally 5 minutes from the airport. They handed me an envelope with the keys and detailed instructions about parking and other important information. When we arrived at the condo, we were greeted with thoughtful touches, like a reusable shopping bag and locally made Kauai cookies and coffee, which I thought was a very nice gesture. The house was very clean. It felt a little warm initially because all the windows were closed, but once we opened them, the airflow cooled down the space. There are also several fans in the room that you can use, but on some days, I actually felt chilly. The view is spectacular, especially the sunrises, as the condo is located on the east side. The house is very well-equipped, including a fully stocked kitchen. We also found beach chairs and a cooler that you can take to the beach. The area is very quiet and in a great location, whether you want to explore the north or head to the west side of the island. Additionally, the host was very kind and allowed us to stay in the property until the evening on our check-out day for a very reasonable price, as our flight didn’t leave until 10:30 PM and they didn’t have any reservations for the following day.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We liked the location but certain times of day the traffic was pretty ridiculous. The unit we had no A/C. Not sure that I realized this before getting to our unit. It was much warmer then I expected so going forward I guess I would consider A/C. The unit was well equipped and I so appreciated that. It felt over clean but the floor grout never has been cleaned which mad3 the floors feel dirty. Absolutely loved the view of the bay, incredible sunrises that we took advantage of.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The sewage treatment plant across the street was malfunctioning during to our stay. The stench woke us up one night it was so bad. A lot of road noise in the bedroom. No AC to filter out road noise or sewage oder. The condo is very dated and in dire need of a major remodel. Lots of mold and very dirty. The lighting was faulty and some the furniture needed replacing. We contacted the property management and they had housekeeping come by and clean the condo which did help but as the old saying goes “you can’t make a silk purse out of a sows ear”.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything in Wailua Bay View 110 was great with only a few things I would change. The location is centrally located to the north and west side. Good food spots close by for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Clean and well taken care of. Only thing I would ask the owners is to get a new mattress for the king bed and new couch to use for sleeping.

Exact view of what the picutre on listing shows. We saw Whales & Cruise Ships from our Lenai. The condo had Everything we needed Plus more. Close & Convenient to everything!

Kauai stay

It was conveniently located and had everything we needed. The unit had a good view, but a low patio set that had you looking at the railing if you sat. It needs a bar height set to make it enjoyable. The unit was very dated and needs an update. The bed and bedding could also use an update. The pool area was pretty, but shaded. Pool not heated.

The view was the best part!

We would stay here again just for the view! We were about 50 yds from the water, 1st floor, and could hear the waves and watch wind surfers. The condos themselves are old but clean and nothing to complain about (although the sheets and towels could be updated) but it had everything we needed.

Beautiful setting

Centrally located to shopping, dining and excursions. The view of Wailua Bay is spectacular. The bedroom of this unit remained well lit at night from lighting outside the unit. Also, conversations at the pool, made it difficult to rest/sleep. We have had the opportunity to stay in several units at Wailua Bay View over the years, and found this unit less desirable.

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. The view from the Lanai was great as well as the location. Several good restaurants you can walk to. We appreciated having all the snorkel gear, beach chairs, cooler etc. as we drove to many different beaches.
