Wailua is on the island's sunny East side, allowing you to explore both
North and South shores easily.

Great location. Centrally located easy drive to NS or Poipu. Great view. Love that it’s within walking distance to Coconut Marketplace ( really enjoyed the free Hulu Show and Farmers Market) and the bike path.

Location was perfect, walkable to multiple beaches, shops and food. Room was clean and cozy. Beautiful views from the condo and enjoyed the pool.

I am so conflicted about writing this review because I think the hosts are doing their best, but this area is only about a mile from a sewage treatment site and when that stench hits, it is brutal. This makes me feel bad for the property owners because this isn’t their fault, but I think if you’re going to book this unit expecting an experience based on the overall 9.8 score of reviews, you will be disappointed. This is a good place to explore the island, but not a great place to spend time in the unit. It is certainly affordable and I think a good value for Kauai; which is a small and expensive island. The hosts were responsive and the unit is clean, however, it is very very outdated and very hot and uncomfortable with some broken things such as the shower door with a dangerous sharp broken metal piece you have to be careful not to get cut on. The unit and the outdoor lanai are pretty dark and dreary at night. I felt like I got the steal of a lifetime when we arrived in the afternoon to the beautiful view, but as soon as the sun is down that view of the ocean becomes a view of freeway and aside from hearing the tide, it felt like I was in any random town, not a tropical island. The condo is located on a very busy street across from a gas station. Overall, this place is centrally located and affordable and great so long as your expectations are tempered, but I definitely was a bit disappointed in the location and condition of the unit.

This review saddened us, in part because we had no communication from this guest during her stay and thus no ability to address her concerns with her. To be clear the bulk of what she describes are matters beyond our control as owners. There has been County of Kauai temporary work on a pumping station nearby but it has been over 9 months since owners have been advised of guest complaints about odor. For any such issue I am deeply and wholeheartedly sorry. As far as lanai lighting that is a matter dictated by the building’s board- we are not free to substitute brighter lighting of our own as owners. As far as decor the photos are an accurate representation of the furniture and accessories, and is reflected in the pricing level we charge. We value comfort and a tropical aesthetic in our unit. Had I been advised that the shower needed attention I would of course have made repairs immediately and will have it addressed now. The unit listing clearly advises that the bedroom is air conditioned and that the living area utilizes ceiling fans. These are the cooling methods commonly used in this building and these units. We have many guests who return for stays year after year and who obviously do not have experiences like this guest. Again, the issues she describes clearly indicate that this building was not the choice for her. We still stand behind our belief that we offer great value and wonderful stays to our guests.

This place was excellent! It was perfect being centralized on the island. The host was responsive, the condo was clean, and the place was stocked with everything we needed. The pool area with the grills was perfect. Sunrises on the balcony every morning was great! The condo manager was very nice and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

I’ve stayed at this condo several times. The view is unbeatable! Love the location of Wailua Bay View condos near Kapa’a. Beach amenities are a plus…chairs, boogie boards, cooler, umbrella and (freeze packs to keep things cold). Plenty of beach towels, bath towels and kitchen amenities. We also enjoy the bbqs to cook our meals. Will definitely return in the future.

Excellent view of Wailua bay. Close to everything in Kapa’a. Well equipped with chairs, umbrella, cooler, boogie boards and everything you’d need for a week of fun. Enjoyed our stay.

Wialua Bay View is the bomb

Great property right on the Wialua bay. Walking distance to several great restaurants and the best bakery on the island. Centrally located so you can head north to Honilie or south to Poi pu. The sound of the surf puts you to sleep each night and the rooster gives you a wakeup call!

Loved hearing the waves and the view was very nice. We were so glad for the chairs, cooler, shade umbrellas, beach boards & all the beach supplies. The bed comfortable and it was so nice to have fans throughout the apartment & a/c. We throughly enjoyed ourselves.

Beautiful sunrises and views of the Bay

Unit had everything for a short visit. Convenient to reach the North shore or heading to Waimea. Kapaa was a cute little town that had shopping and restaurants.

Perfect location

The location was ideal for exploring the whole island. Was also a very cost conscious choice for us. Loved the sound of the waves and our third floor view.
