I have 3 properties , VRBO ID 729271, 4506782, & 600509, Short 1 Mile walk to the closest beach (Weekapaug). You Our beach pass is for Wuskenau beach which is 2 miles away. Wuskenau beach is located right next to Misquamicut state beach. Fully furnished New England style cottage. Living room with 1 full-size couch and a chair. Eat-in kitchen seats 4 comfortably. Outdoor table seats 6 comfortably. Additional fold up table and 4 additional fold-up chairs provided. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed; Bedroom 2 has a bunk bed. A queen size inflatable mattress is provided. House has 3 window air conditioners and for heat, it has steam radiators. Sheets, comforters, pillows, and towels are provided. 1 full bathroom with shower. Large washer & dryer, 50-inch HDTV flat screen with local TV channels and Apple TV, Verizon FIOS 100 Mbps Internet, large microwave, full-size stove, full-size fridge, 12 cup coffee maker. Dining ware, pots & pans provided. Outdoor fire pit (firewood not provided). Winnapaug Country Club (public golf course) 1 mile away. Very large yard with outdoor table and table umbrella, great for outdoor BBQ (charcoal grill provided). Quiet neighborhood. This property is central to beaches and shopping. The property is comfortable for families with children. House has tile and hardwood floors throughout. Check out downtown Westerly: The Grey Sail Brewery, 2 bookstores, antique shops, many retail shops, pubs, and restaurants. 10 minutes from Watch Hill, 40 minutes from Historic Newport, RI. There are playgrounds and tennis courts for after dinner hours of fun located just up the street at Rotary Park or enjoy a short drive to Watch Hill for ice cream and carousel ride; great for the kids-- or The Ocean House for adults. Foxwoods Resort Casino is 35 minutes away. Mohegan Sun casino is 50 minutes away. Enjoy dining in the many waterside restaurants in our area. No security deposit required. Walmart superstore is 5 minutes away. In the summer there are many free outdoor concerts with free parking in beautiful Watch Hill or at the town beach. My husband and I booked a three night stay. With a rise in temperatures predicted for the next few days and on the warmer side for May, the cottage was very stuffy when we arrived. Unfortunately, the three air conditioners were not already installed in the windows. After emailing the owner about the need for them to be installed, he was very prompt in showing up to put each one in. It was a relief to have them operating especially with our dog who tends to not do well with the heat. The cottage has a beautiful lilac bush that is located right in the front that was in full bloom. The kitchen has everything you need to cook with and dishware, but I could not find any dish soap or a brush to wash a few items I used.There is a good size backyard surrounded by woods with plastic chairs to sit and relax. The size was adequate for the two of us and our dog. Due to the time of year the price was very reasonable.

We recently stayed at this property for a work-related trip. The location worked well for us, and the check-in process was straightforward and easy to navigate.That said, there were several aspects of the stay that did not meet expectations. Upon entering the home, there was a strong animal urine odor that persisted throughout the visit and made it difficult to be comfortable in the space. The couches were also in a condition where we felt it was necessary to place our own covers over them due to both cleanliness concerns and the odor coming from them.Additionally, the side and backyard areas had multiple piles of dog waste.We also found that the home’s condition and overall appearance did not align with the listing photos, which was disappointing upon arrival.

Hi Chris , I’m sorry you did not enjoy your stay. I’m surprised with the rating you gave. One star is unfair. You never once contacted me during your stay regarding any issues. If I rented a house and it smelled like urine I would definitely contact the owner during my stay. We will be purchasing a new couch for the house. The listing photos are 100% accurate. Updates to the house this past fall include hardwood floors that were sanded and varnished. I hope that anyone reading this review will read the many other reviews of the house.

The cottage was cute, clean, toasty on a cold fall night, and had everything we needed for our stay. The cottage appeared to be getting some aesthetic updating, and the new windows were warm and secure. Our 2 Chihuahuas vacationed with us and loved hiking the beautiful preserve across the street as well as the Champlin Glacier preserve about 1 mile down the same road. Our hosts were quick to respond and accomodating with any needs we had. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will visit again!

Check in/out was super easy. Close to the beach in a very quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the quiet mornings on the front porch and quiet evenings in the backyard with a fire. Was enough space for my small family and small dogs. Beds were comfy and convenient to have a washer and dryer in the house. This will be our new yearly vacation spot!

Excellent Experience

Cute place great location, could use some TLC, paint chipping etc. the t.v. wasn’t working but we were able to get it to. Coffee maker had old grinds with mold in it. Plenty of dishes and other kitchen supplies. Would stay again.

Great location, responsive owners, but smaller than expected. It would be great for a writing retreat. The peach pass was very helpful and made access easy to the town beach which has a large ramp for those with walkers or wheelchairs. Enjoyed overall.

We did not need the laundry, but new appliances were in the basement available for use. It is a fairly secluded location, with 2 bedrooms (one with bunk beds), living room , full bath with shower only, kitchen and small eating area for 4. There is a front deck with seating for 4 with table, and an outdoor firepit. Walmart superstore within a mile that has eveything you may forget to bring! :)

We only provide local TV channels , however we provide apple TV which you can use to watch Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and most other streaming services that you have a subscription too. The TV is an LG 50 inch flat screen TV.
