This golf-view home offers the very best of Kiawah Island living: it’s located privately behind the second security gate on a quite cul-de-sac; the 10th fairway of Turtle Point provides a beautiful backdrop; the home sits in close proximity the neighborhood pool; and is within walking distance to the beach.

The exterior of the home features a covered front porch that welcomes guests into the beautifully furnished and open interior spaces.

The living room with superb views and access to the screened porch brings the beauty of the outdoors in, while a fireplace flanked by built-in cabinetry adds architectural interest. The kitchen has newly installed quartz counter tops October 2017. Besides the screened porch, there’s an exterior deck to further enjoy the home’s natural setting on Kiawah.

Nestled within the popular Ocean Green community in the exclusive Vanderhorst Plantation. This four bedroom, three and half bath home offers free access to the community swimming pool. The home boasts an open floor plan, multiple rooms with large beds, plus close proximity to the pool. Approximately 2764 square feet. 6 Tommy Bahama beach chairs available for use. Visit are sister property VRBO 842556.June 1 to AUG 31 is Saturday to Saturday 7 days rental.

We will accept credit card payments up to $750, beyond that we will charge a 3% sur charge.

Kiawah spring break

We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. The house was great. Plenty of space with everything we needed. Very clean and the owners were great too. We definitely would stay here again.

Great house and location

House was as described on the web site. Very comfortable and plenty of space for our family. Owner has included thoughtful touches that made our stay enjoyable. Location to the pool(across the cul-de-sac) and beach was awesome. Communication with the owner was the easiest and best I have had in my 30+ years of staying on Kiawah!

Family Summer Vacay

We absolutely loved our stay. Our host was fantastic and so very helpful. The home is open and very roomy and comfortable. Even better than the online photos. We enjoyed a quick walk to the pool, bike rides to the beach, grilling out and evenings on the screened in porch. We will definitely be back! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

Family Vacation

Beautiful home the pictures don’t do it justice. Very spacious and we really enjoyed the screened in porch to gather for morning coffee. Kitchen fully equipped with everything you would need. Just a short walk to the beach. Steve and Tom were very helpful and was available if there was anything we needed. We highly recommend this home for your visit to Kiawah island.

Wonderful place to stay on Kiawah Island

We had a great week on Kiawah Island. The house was clean and everything was as advertised. The house was in a great location with about a 5 - 10 minute walk to the beach. We would happily choose this property again

Lovely home!

The house was in a great location—near the beach, tennis courts and a short drive to Freshfields Village. Expect to bring everything you need for cooking (other than pots, pans and utensils) and the bathrooms (other than toilet paper).

Beautiful, spotless, and well-stocked home

The rental property was spotless upon our arrival and had everything our family could have asked for to enjoy a week at Kiawah. The extra upstairs living room was a useful bonus. Thoughtful additions like the use of beach chairs, a cooler, and beach cart made our stay even better.

Easy, spacious and convenient!

Let me begin by saying Tom is the most helpful and courteous property owner/manager I’ve encountered. The property was exactly as described and gave my family of 5 more than enough room to spread out. Over the years, we have stayed all over the Island and we found this location to be one of our favorites. (We are an active family who enjoy biking, walking and running). We would stay here again!

Great 3 week stay in Feb 2021

My husband and I stayed here with our 19 month old son for 3 weeks in Feb of 2021 My overall impressions are overwhelmingly positive! The house is great! The downstairs has a nice open floor plan and there are large decks on both the front and back. The house feels clean, bright and comfortable. The owner was extremely easy to communicate with. Laundry machines, WiFi, dishwasher all worked great. The house is well stocked - tons of towels, a truly obscene amount of pots and pans, beach chairs, spice rack, etc. Minor negatives: - The fact that you can't open the dishwasher and trash can at the same time drove me nuts - There are 2 vacuums and neither are great - It would have been very helpful to have access to the garage. We biked a lot and it rained a lot so storing the bikes outside was not ideal

Great Kiawah getaway

Great activities all around. Bike/walking trails nearby. Pool is 1 minute walk. Beach is within 10 minute walk. Tom is a very hospitable host.

Exactly 0.5 miles from the beach!!!

house was very comfortable and convenient to the beach, large open first floor plan, with kitchen, dining and family room was a wonderful space, bed rooms were very nice. like i said above, the distance from the driveway to the sand was exactly half a mile!!!, takes 8 min to walk or 3 min to bike, very nice. the only problems we encountered was a leaky hose to wash off with outside, handyman showing up at the wrong time ( a day to early), and the owner of the house bringing another potential renter thru the house during our stay, when we were told it was going to be an insurance adjuster, that needed to get in the house??? other than that, the family truly had a wonderful time!

Wonderful stay in Kiawah!

Our family of 6 adults plus a toddler loved our 1st visit to Kiawah. The house was very comfortable, offering everything we needed. The kitchen was well appointed and a grill out back made dining in an easy option. It's just a short walk or bike ride to the beach and across the cul de sac from the pool. Both the owner and house manager were very responsive. We look forward to coming back next year!

The rooms were spacious and the home was very comfortable. Pool was very short walk. Little longer to the beach than we hoped but it was a pleasant bike ride. Tom and Holly were very responsive to our questions.

Perfect!

Beautifully maintained, updated, clean, bright and cozy property. Steps from the Pool, the golf course and a beautiful, quick ride to the beach. The well proportioned rooms enabled a comfortable stay, while the beautiful golf course view framed by nicely landscaped trees from the many windows and spacious screened in porch is a continuous delight. We enjoyed the owners gracious hospitality and kindness.

Kiawah is beautiful with lots to do. A short drive to Charlestown with many choices for dining. Our stay at Ocean Green was perfect, can't wait to come back!

Kiawah Marathon weekend

7 of us rented this house for the weekend of the Kiawah Island Marathon. The house is gorgeous with plenty of space for everyone. It was a luxury to not have to drive to the race start. It was a 15 minute walk to the expo/race start and finish. We really enjoyed the character of the house and having a kitchen to cook our own pre-race meals. An extra bonus was running by the house at mile 21 and seeing something familiar along the race course. The house is beautiful with great gathering space for the entire group, while there are plenty of bedrooms for privacy. We would not hesitate to rent this house again.

Loved it!

I had never been to Kiawah Island before - I have family in the Charleston area however had not had the opportunity to travel to the Island. After looking at many options I stumbled across this beautiful house while I was about to give up my search for Christmas destinations. Our usual destinations of Florida and the Caribbean were out of the question due to Zika. After countless hours searching for the house and rejecting many dated villas and cramped quarters I came across 25 Ocean Green - it seemed too good to be true - the house was spacious, on Kiawah Island and allowed dogs which was a must for us. The decor was up to date and with 4 bedrooms and decent square footage there would be room to spare for my family. We went ahead and booked the house. Tom the owner was incredibly helpful throughout the process and during our stay - checking in to make sure we were all set and with many wonderful recommendations. We were just there over the Christmas holiday and the ambience was the perfect blend of tranquil and relaxing. The pool is a stone's throw away and the beach a short and beauty filled walk from the home. The home is surrounded by golf courses and wildlife is abundant ( a treat for us to see deer daily being from NYC). The home itself was perfect. The pictures don't do it justice and when I stepped in I was pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness, cleanliness, and vibe of the house - it was absolute perfection. Two master suites with king beds and the other bedrooms provide more than adequate space -and the open concept living area is great for entertaining and nights in with the family. The home also has porches on the front and back. We loved Kiawah so much we cannot wait to go again - and 25 Ocean Green was the perfect vacation rental.

A fantastic rental property located on Kiawah Island with all the amenities that you need.

My wife and I rented this property with two other couples from Scotland. The house had all the amenities and was very nicely decorated. In addition it was surrounded by some great golf courses. Unfortunately, we got chased out a few days earlier than planned by Hurricane Matthew and was not able to play. We did get to visit the Ocean Course Club House to take in some of the views. We also dined at a few of the restaurants nearby on the island. They were all wonderful. Finally, we used the bikes out front to drive the trails and go to the beach. The property owners communicated well and showed a classy touch by calling us to remind us that we were not obligated to stay during the storm. They reimbursed us for the two days that we had to cut short. All in all, it was a great vacation and we look forward to doing it again.

Excellent home and getaway for a big family!

My family of 10 including 3 little kids under the age of 5 stayed at this beautiful home. From start to finish, Tom the owner and his manager, Holly were wonderful to work with and very helpful with all our questions. It was our first time to rent a home and it was a great experience. What I most appreciated about this house was the layout. The layout was very considerate of guests and the needs of 10 people. Everyone really enjoyed the screened in porch overlooking the golf course. The beach was an easy 5 minute walk from the house. The pool was literally 100 feet from the house which actually worked better for us rather in the backyard. With little kids, it was much safer to have the pool gated in rather than right at my finger tips. I would HIGHLY recommend this house to any families looking for a great get away. Can't wait to go back to Kiawah and stay here again. Thanks!
