Perfect Vacation at Barefoot Trails

Very peaceful and quiet. The property was very clean and comfortable, even around the pool area. Couldn't ask for a nicer condo!!

Great apartment, disappointing agency!

Apart perfect, clean, ideal location, well equipped as per adv. However, agency informed us only few days before arrival that there might be scaffolding in front apt balcony but hopefully it will not obstruct the view on ocean. We were not informed of major repair work ongoing on building with multiple teams of workers operating jackhammers and grinders generating annoying noise outside and inside apart. Given the nuisance we left the rental one week ahead of schedule.

Loved it!

I love the layout, super comfortable with plenty of room for 4 people, you never felt like you were on top of each other. We loved having our coffee on the deck, the pool was super warm, and the pickle ball courts were nice. The beds and couches were comfortable, with plenty of seating for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked for the most part, there were no pot holders or kitchen towels. The only complaints was mainly the linens. There was no beach towels, and just enough towels for showers, so we ended up buying some, there were a bunch of spare pillows, but no extra pillowcases, and no kitchen towels. We also grill dinner a lot, so we were disappointed to find there wasn't one. Other than those things we loved it.

The condo needs an interior decorator. The furniture looks like someone went to a flea market, bought old dark furniture and stuck it in a beach house

Spectacular views and amenities

Condo was spacious, clean, and completely updated! We enjoyed waking up and falling asleep to the ocean waves. The views from this unit could not be better. We appreciated that the condo complex was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed swimming in the heated pool, playing on the beach, tennis, and shuffleboard. We even joined the regular crew at the complex for a game of Bingo! We cannot wait to come back to this gem!

Could be great

Location was great. Great time to visit as there were reduced guests in the complex. Had a dog in a nearby condo that began barking at 6am every day and continued until 9 am. So much for sleeping in! Unit lacked security. The sliding doors did not lock. Promptly went to Lowe’s and bought braces for the doors. No I didn’t leave them there. Unit bathrooms were not clean. Tub had numerous long hairs all over it. Floors were cleaned down the middle only. Yes, we clean and sanitize upon arrival but didn’t plan on that scrubbing. Has potential to be a very nice place.

Nice place especially if you just want to rest and relax. More for a place for the older crowd. Not ment for teenagers. Good for younger kids maybe.

208 issues: 1. A dryer knob fell off (one was missing from the beginning) 2. No beach towels. 3. No dustpan? 4. Only working TVs were in bedrooms- living room TV never “worked” 5. Framing around master bedroom mirror easily detached so was placed in a corner to avoid injuries (glass was already damaged & frame was not manhandled) 6. Right twin bed headboard extremely squeaky & loose **renters spilled nail polish on bedroom carpet near chair😥 On a positive note!!... 1. Loved the blinds! 2. Pots & pans were awesome! 3. Bathrooms were nice 4. Great location for observing pool activity 5. Terrific cleaners! 6. Loved the easy entry with keypad 7. Excellent neighbors! 😉

Awesome low key “social distanced” vacation

This is a wonderful property. Very well appointed with many modern amenities and decor. There was plenty of room for my wife and I as well as two teenage boys. Great location out of the “riff raff”. Mostly residential section of the beach. Pool was great and never too crowded. The walk to the beach was inspiring. View from the balcony was fantastic. We were able to cook all of our meals with ease. The furniture was heavy duty and very comfortable. The washer and dryer inside allowed us to pack light. The location is close enough to restaurants and grocery, but far away from the hustle and bustle of the ordinary beach town. We will likely rent again! Thanks for sharing your wonderful property.

Clean and furnished very nice

The freezer didn’t work. And the stove and oven didn’t heat good. Not enough dishes at times. Didn’t like having to take my shoes off at door. Had to have another pair to wear inside. Concrete on patio peeling very bad and patio table looked like it had been burned on top. Did enjoy our stay tho.

Property was nice, clean and the condo was very updated. We enjoyed our stay overall. The 2nd bedroom had twin beds, which I believe were advertised as new... but, they were SO squeaky and noisy, we had to put the mattress on the floor, it was so literally noisy to even sit on the bed, or turn over when sleeping; otherwise, our dtr said the mattress was fine, once lying it on the floor. The bed behind the kitchen area was a plus for our Son who didn't want to share a room with his sister... and comfortable. Not much room in the living area... was uncomfortable for 4 of us...we couldn't really "lounge" or relax... but, furniture was nice. The biggest PROBLEM was with wifi and SERVICE from the MANAGEMENT CO. We Needed Wifi as we weren't completely on vacation.... we had some work to do .... We emailed the evening we arrived, with only a return email the next day providing info we already had... we called the next day and was promised a call from the "service dept", but didn't receive a call. We called 2 days later and was promised a service visit at a certain time ( with a prior phone call) the next day, and no one called or came out ( we sat in the room for 2 + hours waiting). Then I emailed the management company regarding the concern ( at that point, we just called our work and told them we didn't have wifi and went to the starbucks a few miles down the road...quite the inconvenience).... We NEVER received an email or phone call back from the management company, responding to our concern. Honestly, I know that for MOST, having wifi may not be a big concern, but it was a major issue for us, as I said, we were needing to use the computer for work.... and the fact that we couldn't get anyone to respond to us was a HUGE disappointment. It makes me concerned that if there were issues with the condo, would we have been able to reach someone who would have handled them? I will say again, the condo was clean, nice and "mostly" comfortable.... the pool area was nice, the "pool guy" was pleasant and seemed to do a good job of caring for the grounds. The beach was really beautiful. Parking was "weird"... you aren't allowed to "back in" to the parking spots... couldn't really understand that... it was a little difficult for us to park/back out in our Truck... but... not a huge inconvenience. Possibly would stay again

There have to be better places to stay!!

Many issues. We left yesterday. First, concerning the refrigerator. All food that was placed in the refrigerator was cold as we only traveled 2.5 hours and had it on ice. The refrigerator did not make ice for 24 hours. Needs to be replaced. 2. Carpet appeared extremely dirty in foyer area. Needs to be cleaned. 3. Coffee table with oversized (ill fitting) glass top is a horrible piece of furniture. It is an accident and lawsuit waiting to happen. 4. The love seat in the living room was broken when we arrived, there are pieces sticking out of the back of it. (Fabric is not ripped, just protruding dangerous and uncomfortable pieces. 5. Dishwasher was full of dishes and we couldn't tell if it had been run or not. Had to forgo doing our own dishes to do dishes of previous occupants. All food was not removed from premises prior to our arrival. When I rent a unit, I don't want anyone else's food. 6. There were towels in the dryer and in the washer when we arrived. Once again, we had to forgo doing our own laundry because we had to do laundry of the previous occupant. 7. Light bulbs in master bedroom need to be replaced. Light bulbs outside by door are burnt our or fixture doesn't work. 8. Bathroom sinks do not drain properly. My son pulled a huge wad of hair out of the bathtub in the master bath to make it drain. Gross!! 9. Spiderwebs all over balcony. It was not cleaned prior to our arrival. King sized bed was fairly comfortable, air conditioning worked well.

My sister stayed in this condo and the only complaint was the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. Ended up on couch and love seat to sleep. We would recommend Barefoot Trace but maybe a different unit.

Great Vacation

This was a great place to stay. The beach was quiet and family friendly. The pool was well maintained and comfortable. The interior of the condo was clean and comfortable. My only complaint was the bed was not very comfortable.
