Creston House 11E is a spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bath oceanfront condo. Located just south of Saint Augustine in Crescent Beach, you will love the peace and quiet. Creston House 11E has a good selection of amenities, including wireless internet. The master bedroom has a comfortable king-size bed, from which you have direct oceanfront views. The secondary bedrooms feature a queen and two twin beds.

The living space also provides spectacular oceanfront views through the dunes. Mealtime will be a snap in the fully equipped kitchen, which includes a coffee maker, toaster, microwave, oven, and flattop stoveā€”dining space to accommodate everyone.

Creston House 11E is in a great location. Crescent Beach is quiet and beautiful. Located on the south end of Anastasia Island, you can take in stunning views of both the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterwayā€”numerous parks line this part of the island, with plenty of places to park. You can even drive your vehicle directly on the beach. Fort Matanzas State Park can provide an excellent little adventure with a free boat ride from the National Park Service to the island fort. Go fishing under the 206 bridge, and no one will ever know you are not a local.

If you are looking for a little more during your vacation, the downtown historic district of Saint Augustine is just a few minutes to the north. You can take in the enormous fort, Castillo de San Marcos, or an event at Francis Field. The Fountain of Youth, Ripleyā€™s Believe it or Not, St. George Street, Ghost Tours, Romantic Carriage Rides, and much more await.

We have stayed at Creston House for over 20 years. We love it there. Our host was excellent in communicating. There was some construction going on but it really was only noticed when we were at the pool. Overall it was excellent.

Great views through foggy windows

The view and the proximity to the beach are great. If that is what is most important to you than you can be happy here. There are some drawbacks though, some of the windows are cloudy, some screens were shredded, the ceiling in the dining area leaked when the upstairs shower was used and we had to kill palmetto bugs in 2 of the 3 bedrooms. So we felt some upgrades need to be done for the price. But we did enjoy the beach and the sunrises. The proximity to the ocean was the best part.

Great Stay

Our condo was super cute and we had balconies in every bedroom with a bonus roof one perfect for watching sunsets/sunrises. We had a leak in the roof and they were prompt about answering afterhours and being flexible with getting it repaired.

This is our second time in this condo. The tanners in the family love the roof top deck. There have also been some nice improvements since our last visit!

Mold, dirty, broken, worn with great views

When we entered a strong smell of mold/mildew hit us and persisted the entire stay. There was visible mold under sink, along baseboards and in the utility room which was dirty dusty and where the dishes are stored. Peeling paint, water stains in the main area, dirty walls and baseboards throughout. Many windows as well as one sliding door would not open and blinds were missing and some would not open. Carpets and floors were stained, matted and dirty. The furniture is old, dirty and chipped.In short, there is nothing in this unit that doesn't need to be cleaned, replaced, repaired or repainted.The smoke alarm was missing.We contacted hosts Dora and Marty and were offered one unit with a poor view and were told we would still have to pay cleaning and fees for it. We declined but ended up leaving early as we simply could not stay in 11E another day. Host refunded us that day.The only positive is the view. This is the worse VRBO I have ever stayed in and if this is an acceptable standard will not rent from them again.Stay away from this one unit at all costs!

Favorite place to stay at St Aug Beach!

My family has been visiting Creston House since 2014, and we love it! The buildings, pool, and grounds are well cared for. Super proximity to the beach! We like that its on the quieter end of the island. The unit has beautiful views and is a perfect location! I would definitely recommend it!

Good condo for the price but needs some improvements

I was happy with how clean the condo was & the space it provided for us. We are a family of 5. The things I would recommend is fixing the leak coming from the upstairs shower. When my kids would use the shower, the roof would leak into the living room floor. I would have liked tvs in every bedroom. Also a washer and dryer would have been great! I booked the condo after realizing there was no washer and dryer in the room. That is a must when you have 3 daughters! There were also small black bugs in the condo. That wasnā€™t a huge issue for me but it did make 2 of my kids sleep downstairs on the couches. Overall the condo was great for the price.

Crescent Beach condo

Pros: +Quiet location with direct beach access and views. +Close enough to St. Augustine to go into town but far enough away from the traffic/noise. Cons: -Maintenance and upkeep could have been a little bit better but all in all adequate. -Communication between owner and property management was poorā€¦ Owner didnā€™t realize we had rented the unit and scheduled roof repairs DURING our stay (we declined to let them in). -Marty (property manager), was quick to respond to our questions but not very welcomingā€¦short, curt incomplete answers to some of our questions.

Perfect location

This is a spacious 3 bedroom duplex perfectly located on a beautiful beach. The interior could use some upgrades, especially the vertical blinds that appeared to be old and some of the individual blind slats had fallen on the floor when we arrived. Additionally, there were several huge water bugs (common in Florida and tropical climates) when we arrived and others while we were in the property. We immediately wrote and called the property manager. We did not receive a call back. On the 3rd day we were there, I called the property manager again to make sure they had received our messages. They said they received the messages and would make note of the problems. We would have appreciated a more rapid reply. We also did not want to be responsible for the faulty blinds. Otherwise it is a good property, simple decor, full kitchenā€¦good for a beach trip. Wi-fi and TV worked well.

The location is one of the best in the complex. Quiet at night, beautiful views in the morning. Easy walk to beach- good sized pool. Great artwork and comfortable beds. We will be back!

You get what you pay for.

Arrived to find that there is no assigned parking for each unit. First come first serve for parking and guest parking is all of maybe 8 spots. Iā€™m pretty sure there are more units then there are parking spaces on the property. Unit was not clean, none of the 4 sliding glass doors locked and one was even missing the entire locking mechanism. The upstairs bathroom shower/tub is only a shower as the tub doesnā€™t work. Sliding closet doors are off track and some are missing knobs or the knobs fall off. Listing mentions nothing about a washer/dryer which is my fault for assuming but the washer/dryer situation is shared with the property. We were unable to get a parking pass bc the office was closed so we had to cross our fingers there was a guest spot. Marty is no help at all and cares as much about helping the tenants as he does caring for his property. We decided to leave the second day and find somewhere else to stay. Listen to the poor reviews and stay elsewhere. Being on the beach isnā€™t worth staying here.
