Welcome to Ocean Village Club J24, your luxuriously furnished oceanfront two-bedroom, two-bath, second floor condo. Located in Ocean Village Club Resort, this gated community gives you access to a clubhouse, two swimming pools, two tennis courts, four shuffleboard courts, a picnic area with grills, and a private beach walkway, all within walking distance of restaurants, grocery stores and shops, and just a few minutes' drive to the heart of historic St. Augustine, the nation's oldest city. Enjoy the condo balcony overlooking the tropical resort landscaping, perfect for large or extended families. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available, a DVD player, VCR and cable TV. A full-size washer and dryer are included, allowing for lighter packing. And the ocean is just a short hop across the dune walkover from the community pool area.

The kitchen, dining and living area is an open floor plan with wood flooring throughout. The kitchen is a chef's delight, with plenty of solid surface countertops, and everything is available in this kitchen to whip up gourmet meals. All you have to do is bring the food! Appliances are all stainless-steel and include a dishwasher, range with oven, built-in above-range microwave and refrigerator/freezer. There is a pass-through breakfast bar into the dining area. The adjacent dining area is nicely furnished with a rectangular table seating six. This flows out into the well-appointed living area with sleeper sofa and matching loveseat, coffee table and large flat screen TV. The patio bar table with two bar stools overlooks the resort grounds, also with two other patio chairs, perfect for hanging out with your pets!

The primary bedroom with en suite bath is furnished with a king-size bed, nightstands with lamps, three drawer chest, and a wall-mounted large flat screen TV, as well as ceiling fan. The large en suite bathroom has a walk-in shower with glass doors, and separate powder room. All towels and linens are provided. The second bedroom is great for extended family or kids and includes a queen-size bed with nightstand and lamp, twin over twin bunk beds and a flat screen TV. The guest bath has a combination tub/shower, vanity and lavatory with plenty of storage space beneath.

Perfect location

The property location is perfect, close to a grocery store and restaurants. It was not too busy when we stayed. The condo was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for my family of 4. One of the pools was super close to the rental unit as well as the tennis courts. The walk to the beach was pretty short even while lugging chairs, umbrella and cooler. Would stay here again. The beach was gorgeous! There is a tortoise that lives to the right side of the boardwalk on your way to the beach.
The neatest cloud I've ever seen captured on our first day.

Nice Getaway

Property was as described. A nice surprise were the beach chairs for us to use. The overall stay was nice and the property amenities were stellar. Only down side was the massive amount of people at the pools during peak time made it hard to have a quiet relaxing time. Washer machine is very loud, but otherwise things were great. We'd book this exact location again.

Review about stay

Loved the property and the house just didn’t like the services that was given barely had any good cooking utensils no pans we stayed for a week and had one toilet paper roll one paper towel roll one load of dishwasher and washer soap. I feel paying so much for something that those items should be there. And the floors were so nasty we had to walk with shoes on but over all the facilities were nice!

Great for the family

The unit was a good size for a family of four and although we had to go pick up the key fobs off site, the instructions were very clear. The condo complex was well kept and the beach is beautiful. The main downside was that the unit was not stocked with enough basics for more than a 2 night stay. We ended up having to go buy TP, soap, dishwashing detergent, etc.

Great location

Great location to beach and downtown. Beach was beautiful white sand, and we live in South Florida where the beaches are great. The pool was heated which was nice, despite the summer heat. Condo was good but definitely not an up to date modern home. But for a beach family vacation, it’s on par with what you would expect. Overall 4/5 stars

Nice place

Place was clean and tidy. Very quiet little neighborhood. Safe with a gate and code. Check in process was slightly confusing. Received an email stating I needed to go to the office prior to going to the room. Then another later saying it was completely keyless and DID NOT have to go to the office. However., we found that the parking passes and pool key were in fact in the office. Probably a misunderstanding on my part but thought it should be noted. Lots of minor defects inside.. things that needed to be repaired, back of remote was gone, found on the dresser, dents and nicks out of the bedside furniture. But overall very nice place to stay. I felt safe here.

Terrible Communication

To start, the property is nice and very clean, but there are two major things that made my overall experience very bad, and since I was there only one night, it made a big impact. 1st: It's the first time in all my trips where I have to go somewhere else to pick up the gate keys and parking permit, I'm ok with doing it, but the instructions are so poorly organized and the communication with the manager was non-existent. I get an email with the address of the property and a link to the instructions, The first thing on top of the instructions is the code to enter the property, so No Key as most AirB&B do today, I arrive at midnight at the gate and I am trying to enter the code i received "to enter the property" and it wasnt correct, I try to read the instructions the section where it says GATE, but it's empty, a nice neighbor waiting behind me tells me her code and I proceed to come in, I park, and entered the property, and Fortunately, I was curious to know what was the password to enter the gate? why wouldn't you just give me a password to enter the gate?.. Well, instruction number 10, labeled as Keys Pick up, says that I have to go to an off site location, like 2 miles from the property to pick up the gate keys and my parking permit, it's now 1:30 am and I am driving to another location to pick up the card for the gate and the parking permit.. Had I not been curious to read that section, my car would have gotten towed. Here is my feedback so you save the next person the bad experience.. 1- Move the instructions to pick up the cards to the GATE section, because the person is trying to Open the Gate, nobody would think by default thar first needs to pick up keys in a remote location. 2- Organize the instructions in the same sequence the person would need them. First is the gate, second is entering the room, 3rd Going to the beach or whatever. Instructions for the gate cannot and should not be instruction Number 10 in an expandable menu of instructions which are all normally closed and some are empty. Leave printed material on the living room table also explaining the situation with the parking permit and the gate keys, not everybody is a tech savy that will be able to decypher the Blues Clues you made me play at 1 am. The other very disgusting thing was, 1 hotel soap for 6 people. And despite I texted Vtrips, they never responded, only outomated texts. Communicate! let your guests know the nuances of your place.

Totally dissatisfied

We’re totally disappointed in our stay and would never return or deal with Vtrips. The place was dirty and needed painted. Couldn’t even sit on deck because of the dirt and dead plants. The water in the master bath dribbled out of the s pick it. I had to wash my hair in the kitchen sink. On Tuesday we had no water from 10-2 and they made us leave the pool. The windows and doors were filthy. BUT, the most disturbing thing was we picked up our key cards and waited 1 hour on the heat sitting on cement steps because it was 4:00 yet. Even 3 neighbors were appalled by this. Totally disappointing. the money we paid was so unacceptable for the place we stayed. The owners should be ashamed of themselves. I’d like to hear a response.

Great Mini-Vacation

A clean, comfortable condo that sleeps up to six, in a well-organized beach community with plenty of amenities. Easy beach access via a boardwalk, two pools, shuffleboard court, plenty of parking and a short driving distance to historic St. Augustine, the lighthouse, and plenty of good restaurants. It's not cheap, but it's worth the price: we had a great time both in- and outside! We would happily stay here again.

Convenient location. Had bathroom light go out. Addressed promptly. Could not resolve during our stay. No elevator. No beach chairs. Cookware was limited. Property secure. Pool nice. Walking distance to the beach. Grocery store and drug store nearby. Restaurants across the street were good. Recommended

Great location

Great location, terrific beach with easy access. Unit is very spacious with fully equipped kitchen and nice features. Bathroom/restrooms are a little outdated and can use an upgrade.

We loved our stay

Great location—-walking distance to nice beach. Host is a great communicator. Apartment had all we needed for our three night stay. There is a Publix nearby. We would definitely stay here again as well as recommend it to others.

Good place to stay.

Has a pool right next to condo, but the beach is a good walk away. You can drive your vehicle on the beach if you have four wheel drive. Had a wonderful time.

Nice rental

No complaints here. Kids were allowed to use pool toys which was a concern from a previous post. AC was out for the first day but they had it fixed by noon on the following day. Would recommend and will probably rent again at Ocean Village Club.
