Beautiful 2 Br 2 Bath Condo Overlooking Pool EZ walk to Beach & Coligny

Newly furnished 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo. Located on 5th floor overlooking Pool, and Garden area. The balcony overlooking the pool is a great place to have your morning coffee or evening cocktails.

Master Bedroom includes queen size bed with large flat screen tv and blu-ray dvd
player. Living room has queen size sleeper sofa and large screen tv with blu-ray dvd player.
The second bedroom and game room / kids room has all been redone with new carpeting, 2 full size beds and furniture. The game room / kids room has an electric reclining couch, flat screen TV on the wall, and its own separate fridge.

Kitchen is fully stocked with dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, blender, crock pot, toaster oven. Dining table seats 4.
There is a washer and dryer in the unite.

South Forest Beach, the nicest beach on Hilton Head, is just a short 5 minute walk or bike ride. You can ride on the beach for miles with bicycles. The access path is across the street beside the Marriott Grande Ocean Resort. Beach chairs, some beach toys, and a wagon are included to transport your treasures to the beautiful beach. We are also just a few minute walk down the road from Coligny Plaza where you will find over 60 Shops and Restaurants.

There are numerous bike trails all over the island and rental bikes are usually < $30 per person/weekly. Ocean Walk also has an indoor pool and hot tub for your enjoyment. Enjoy your morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the pool. Internet access & cable tv included.

No smoking building. Sorry no pets allowed. Minimum 5 night stay.

Wonderful Stay

Best kept secret in Forest Beach!

We visit HHI just about every year and wish we had found this condo years ago! We have stayed at other properties at Ocean Walk and the floor plan was what we expected. The way Scott has furnished each space makes the condo seem larger. We had 2 couples and still had plenty of privacy. Easily could accommodate a group of 6. Enjoying views from the top floor overlooking the pool and grounds became a regular hangout spot. The condo is well stocked and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. Location/Clean/Communication all exceeded our expectations!

Everything you need

We had a great time. We loved the amenities and the fact that my young adult children had their own space. We had a few issues, however. We had issues with getting the tv in the living room to work, but after talking with Scott we rebooted the system and it fixed the problem. The master bedroom bed was nice and spacious but needed a topper on it because it was hard. The slider in the bedroom was very hard to open and close. One of my sons flung a towel over his shoulder and barely touched the covering on the light, and it came crashing down and shattered. Obviously it wasn't on correctly. My son was lucky he didn't get cut because he was barefoot. Overall, our stay was nice.

Eventful Experience

The vac started out great, then my 75+ mother got stuck in the non-air conditioned elevator for 40+ minutes until the fire department could rescue her. Thank goodness she had her cell with her as the speaker in the elevator did not work for communication with the 911 center. The communication with the condo owner was great until I failed to understand the instructions to return a key to the lobby lock box upon departure. That's when I received a nasty response that no one could access the unit. Guess the owner didn't think through the possibility this could happen and have others in the area have additional keys. I felt the response received could have been more professional. Over all, we enjoyed our stay.

great space

Very nice unit on the fifth floor so no footsteps above. Very quiet building. I never heard anything through the walls as can happen with some units. Not a bad walk to the beach. Easy to get to Coligny. Great space for four people and two spaces to watch TV or someone to work remotely in the second TV space.

Clean and comfortable

The condo was clean and comfortable. We cooked quite a bit and it had everything we needed to do so. The indoor pool and hot tub provided a nice break from the sun. The condo's balcony overlooking the outdoor pool provided a peaceful spot to enjoy a good book or conversation.

Great Time!!

Condo was great for four adults. Everyone had separate sides with 510 A & B. Only thing I would suggest is put another TV in the bedroom(side B) with the two beds. Don't need cable really, almost everyone has streaming accounts.Was surprised with the updated floor. Was easy to keep cleaned. Would be nice for future renters to have updated pictures of the nice floors. For us it was a short walk to the beach. Pools & hot tub was nice! Would enjoying renting again.

This place was clean and more spacious than described so we were pleasantly surprised.

This place was perfect for our end of the summer vacation. Our kids enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pools more than the beach. The beach was about 15 minutes walk so it was a little hike, but that didn’t stop us. We went ghost crabbing at night, played golf, went to the local baseball park and practiced couple days, went for a long bike ride, eat dinner while listening to live music, fished and shopped. The owner was very responsive and we had a great time.

Family Getaway

You won’t find a ton of character in any of these condos - this isn’t the area for that. But what you can find is a solid Lodging option that checks the boxes, and this certainly qualifies. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with - just what you need on a family trip (which is not the same thing as a vacation). Thanks for a fun week.

Vacation 2020

There was enough room for 5 adults to have space for themselves which due to Covid we did not go out as much. It was nice having two pools. We didn't have a problem checking in. It was nice to have soap and cleaning supplies. The condo was clean and nicely decorated. If it was on the beach it would have been perfect. We had a nice relaxing time.

Had a great time

The pools were great! Its nice that the owners thought of alot of little things that you need for your stay. There is a closet filled with beach chairs/umbrellas, etc. The two bedrooms are at opposite ends of the condo, so there was some privacy for my wife and I and the kids. There's alot of drawer and closet space in the bedrooms. The distance to the beach was reasonable. Overall was exactly what we needed for a great vacation.

Great stay!

We had a great time in this condo. It was spotless and very well stocked. Scott was wonderful to work with. I appreciated that he even notified me that the unit was ready to check in early. When we had a problem with the dishwasher he just replaced it immediately. We will definitely be back here. Thanks for a great stay!

Just what we needed!

This condo was wonderful! Super clean, well equipped and wonderfully decorated. Our kids loved the separate “suite” area just for them. We loved that they had their own fridge and microwave! The beach cart was a huge help! Short walk to lovely beach area. Hilton Head is now one of our favorite places to visit and we hope to come back soon!

Fantastic location

We stayed the week of 12/14/19 through 12/21/19. Overall it was a wonderful experience that was very convenient for our “Christmas at the Beach” family getaway. Scott was a great host and seemed to go out of his way to make sure we understood the check in process and answered all of our questions. The condo was well appointed with everything we needed. The WiFi was a little quirky but I was thankful for it since it kept my kids bored with their electronics. Figure about 10 minutes to walk to the beach especially if you have little kids. Scott provided plenty of beach gear including chairs and toys. I have stayed at multiple locations on HHI and this property gets major kudos for providing several things that are often looked over. Simple things like trash bags, laundry detergent, lots of toilet paper and hand soap. If you are considering a trip to HHI this time of year just be forewarned that several shops are not open. We went to Coligny one afternoon and had the entire place to ourselves. We never had to wait to be seated while eating out. The only issue that I had with the property and it’s not the owner’s fault is that the indoor “heated” pool wasn’t very “heated.” I had to pull my kids out due to them shivering after about 5 minutes. Overall I would definitely recommend this property to family and friends.

First time at Hilton Head

We stayed at this very spacious condo which was close to the beach and a 10 minute walk to Coligny. The condo is very well equiped and in a nice area. My only complaint was having to drive out to find the address for the car parking permit, it was not an easy task finding the place travelling from thr uk I had no access to mobile internet and it took me 45 minutes. After a long drive that is not what you need. Scott & Valerie, shoul really supply the pass directly at the condo. We saw vehicles being towed daily for not displaying them. Otherwise go and enjoy this lovely condo and island,

Excellent for the price!

For the price this was a great place to stay. Some things worth noting before you book though: 1. It's a good 10 minute walk to the beach (15 minutes if you walk to the public access where the bathrooms are (and a beach bar!!!)....i.e. there are 2 paths to the beach and the one with the bathrooms and access to beach bar is farther away) 2. The unit is actually two 1 bedroom units joined together into one unit. This doesn't really affect much of anything but it explains the somewhat unusual floor plan. 3. The WiFi is VERY slow!! 4. I personally think it's too far to walk to Coligny Plaza so be prepared to drive there. 5. There is nowhere to wash sand off beach stuff at the condo building. The only place to wash off is located at the public beach access where the bathrooms are located which we didn't find very convenient. 6. The inside of the building was notably warm. At first we thought it was due to the inside pool and hot tub. However, we believe its actually due to the fact that all units have dryer vents that vent into the inside/enclosed area of the building. That may be nice in winter but it's not very pleasant at all in peak summer. It's a strange problem indeed but something you'll definitely notice quickly!! 7. Check-in was a bit problematic for us (something another reviewer mentioned as well). The problems we had involved the building "FOB" not being located in the outside lockbox like it was supposed to be (so we were locked out of the building upon arrival) and our parking permit. The parking permit was located at another location (something we were not told) and only discovered that after searching the property for the mailbox where it was supposed to be located for quite some time. Alas, the mailbox was at "another" location. The owner was very nice and helpful and in the end none of it is that big a deal but it was very frustrating in the moment. All in all we had a nice stay! The above list is meant to help future renters make a more informed decision. The unit is well appointed and priced very reasonably. The owner is quick to respond to any phone calls, very nice and helpful.

Great Stay

We had a great week overall. Spacious unit for my wife and kids. The only negative was the unit was not cleaned by 4:00. We were told this was the 1st time in 8 years and Scott followed up with us and apologized for the inconvenience. We will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful condo

We had a wonderful stay. The condo is close to Coligny Plaza where you can find lots of restaurants and stores. We were also really close to the beach. We especially enjoy running and biking on all the amazing trails that Hilton Head has to offer.

We have been visiting Hilton Head for years and just loved the fact that you could ride your bike everywhere, on the beach, out to dinner, or any of the 50 miles of trails around the island.
We stayed at other condos and they were nice but a little small and further from the beach.
We bought at Ocean Walk because it was a small complex and close to the beach. We love our unit because it is on the 5th floor (top floor) and over looks the pool and tennis courts not a parking lot.
It is also close to Coligney which has a lot of shops and restaruants.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Only a quarter of the units in Ocean Walk look over the pool, its nice to come back from the beach and relax with a cold drink and watch the kids in the pool, or enjoy your coffee in the morning.
