Ideal for Families, Couples or Friends - apartment with pool, near beach

My name is Marta, I am Spanish living in Buckinghamshire, England for 25 years now. I married to an English lovely man and we have two children.

In the photo is my mum and I. We have spent many summers altogether in the apartment and have great memories.
My parents bought this apartment when I was 13 as a holiday home.
It was a new building, loved the pool, the easy access of supermarkets, the long beach La Mata and the sunset.

The property is in a great location, with all amenities within walking distance: bars and restaurants near, but not too noisy, with supermarkets, communal pool and amazing beach within 10 minutes walk from the apartment. It is your choice to enjoy the sun, pool and beach, or go further afield and explore around the area.

The place has been lovingly looked after to detail.

WHAT IS NEAR THE APARTMENT TO DO
- Very pleasant walk promenade from the apartment along the sea to the village La Mata. This is probably 3 Km with bars and restaurants on route
- Outside Market in La Mata on Wednesdays (bus route available)
- Outside Market in Torrevieja on Fridays (bus route available)
- Water sports in La Mata beach: There are jet skis, inflatable banana, pedalos…
- Aquapolis waterpark is full of fun and slides. Highly recommended. This is about 10 minutes by car from the apartment of 40 minute walk, or bus route available
- Fun fair and craft market in the evenings on the promenade in the centre of Torrevieja (Open From Easter to October)
- Numerous bars and restaurants to drink and dine in around Torrevieja.- Marina in Torrevieja where you can have boat trips and excursions
- Habaneras shopping centre: Include shops, entertainment, nice bars, a restaurant, a cinema and bowling (slot machines) . 10 minutes by car or 40 minutes walk from the apartment. Bus route available
- Las Salinas: Las Salinas in Torrevieja is a must see. I would recommend you to go for a walk to see the sunset. The colours is so beautiful when the sun goes down in the horizon Please bear in mind there is no lifeguard or attendant here. That is because this area is NOT an official attraction and so there are no facilities.

WHAT TO DO FURTHER AFIELD
- Torrevieja is a bustling holiday resort to the south of Alicante with beautiful beaches, parks, nature trails and stunning salt lakes, one of which is a lovely shade of pink while the other is blue-green. One way to explore Torrevieja and its surroundings is by bike. You can enjoy a gentle ride up and down the coast to visit different beaches and neighbouring holiday towns or stretch yourself with a more strenuous and longer bike rides around lakes or into the mountains. Many of these routes can be found on Google Maps so you can use your phone to plot your routes. The tourist information office can tell you where to hire bikes.
- Terra Mitica is a Theme Park in Benidorm full of fun and rides.
- Safari Park in Elche
- La Mata Salt lake natural park: Entering Torrevieja you will pass between two salt lakes. The salt lake of La Mata and the salt lake of Torrevieja. One is green nearly blue color the other one is of an sort pink rose color. This is 15 minutes by car and about one hour walk from the apartment.
- Pola Park: This is a theme park in Santa Pola, Alicante.
- MundoMar is an animal park located in Benidorm, with different species of mammals, birds and reptiles you will enjoy seeing, along with various shows and the possibility of enjoying special experiences such as swimming with sea lions or a dolphin encounter, or even having photos of yourself taken with different animals.
- Mundo de Los Ninos: This is another park in Alicante full of fun for small children
