Airport 7.5 km.
Nice train station 1.5 km to go to Cannes, Monaco etc.
To go to the old town and the Promenade des Anglais it takes 25 minutes walk. To go the tram which runs every 4 minutes it is 10 minutes to be on the beach and the resorts is 400 meters from the house. The buses are 10 meters far and they go in town too and the airport.
Outside the door you can find Groceries like (carrefour-market, Piccard (frozen products) etc.,a covered market and every day except Monday a general market of fruit and vegetable stands in the street.
A lot of restaurants are around the House

The apartment is just as shown. A small grocery shop right across the street, good restaurants, bus stop and tram within a few minutes walk. A wonderful morning market also a few minutes walk. The apartment could use a good deep cleaning but the positives far outweighed that for us. The terrace was where we spent our time when we were in the apartment. Wonderful place to both start and end your day. Brigitte was also wonderful. Good communication, picking us up from the airport, showing us around and showing us how to use the tram. We would definitely stay here again!

Brigitte is a fantastic host. The apartment offers many excellent features including a huge terrasse facing both north and east. For our taste the kitchen could probably do with an update though.We warmly recommend staying in this apartment especially for those who look for good outside space.

Amazing Place

This apartment was everything we had hooded for. The most beautiful views on the wrap around balcony. Excellent location and the apartment was incredibly spacious. Brigitte was an excellent host and picked us up from the airport. I highly recommend this place. I would stay there again!

Quintessential French apartment

My sister and I had a wonderful week at Bridgetts lovely apartment. It had every thing you need for a comfortable vacation. Access to the Tram system was convenient. The kitchen was well equipped. Many extras are provided to make your stay enjoyable. The terrace view and space was our favorite feature. Bridgett was an excellent host and we hope to return again.

Your holiday

It was a nice apartment to stay in. It is a bit worn. There is a really nice terrace that is there. The host is very nice and friendly.

Best location and best host ever!

Felt like we were visiting the home of a relative that made us feel very welcomed. Location couldn’t be better, close to the Tram, the train station, food market, bakeries, grocery stores, restaurants, you name it you can easily walk to it. Wonderful views of Nice from every direction of the apartment. The terrace room came in handy while waiting out the three first days of rain.

Beautiful apartment and Host

The host Brigitte was amazing and very sweet. The apartment was huge on the 7th fl. Centrally located in the Liberation neighborhood. 2 blocks from restaurants and tram. A short tram trip to Old Nice and the boardwalk on the Mediterranean Sea. Would highly recommend the experience.

Great Host and apartment

Lovely property with all amenities you need. Brigitte was a very kind and friendly person who collected us from the airport and was very helpful. Her friend who collected the keys was also very nice. Sorry I didn't get time to spend more time with them.

Wonderful Hostess

This apartment is well located. It is very close to the Liberation market and the Tram. It is surrounded by many restaurants. But the best thing about the apartment is Brigette, the owner and hostess. She takes time to review everything in the apartment. In addition she walked us around the neighborhood to show us restaurants, especially the ones she said were best. She even offered to pick us up from the airport but because we had so much luggage we had made other arrangements. The apartment also has A/C which is important because Nice can get hot. Thank you to Brigitte.

Wonderful flat, convenient location

The apartment is spacious, well furnished and has wonderful views of Nice. Brigitte is a super host - she quickly resonds to any query and has a wealth of local knowledge. The flat is one tram stop away from the train station in a quiet road but there are shops, restaurants, bars and a great market very near. It is easy to get to places from the flat : the city centre, old town and sea are a few minutes away on the tram and bus stops are nearby. There is a good network of local train services and buses from Nice enabling you to explore further afield too.

Super Nice

Brigitte is a very good communicator and very personable. We felt like we were with family. And after we moved out Brigitte was kind enough to send me some belongings I had forgotten! The view is beautiful! The air conditioning in the sleeping half of the apartment was a great relief in the hot August weather. The breeze in the rest of the house was a plus. The neighborhood is full of shops and the metro is right there. All in all we were very happy with our choice. Thank you Brigitte!

Lovely light-filled apartment for a lovely and authentic Nicoise experience

My wife and I came to Nice on a one week leg of a 10-week trip to Europe, with plans to attend a few days of tennis in Monte Carlo but we wanted our base in Nice to explore and enjoy the city for the rest of our time in Cote d'Azur. We could not have asked for a better experience. To distinguish this apartment from most of the listings in Nice, this is not in one of the touristy areas on the Promenade or in Vieux Nice (though both of those areas are great and worth visiting), this is in Liberation Squared has very much the feel of a regular neighborhood where people are regularly greeting each other by name on the streets and you see families and French families and couples ambling about. While not in the touristy areas, it is super, super convenient - the tram gets you to the touristy areas in 10 minutes, you are very close to the train station if you plan to explore other parts of the Cote d'Azure by the very convenient local trains. As far as needs for you stay - there really is anything and everything you would need in a city within 2 blocks of the apartment. A grocery right across the street, bakery within a block, most days of the week they have the fresh market in Liberation Square, Post Office (was super handy for us) just around the corner. Then we get to the apartment. To this, all credit is due to Brigite who clearly knows how to live life well. First of all, this is an OG VRBO rental. Unlike many places we are staying in elsewhere on this trip or are listed in the city, which are more like privately run hotel rooms, this is her home. There is a lot of personal touch to the experience and in the accomodations. So this place is like staying at a friends home while they are out of town. She picked us up from the airport and showed us around a little when we arrived. We also had some additional contact with her during the stay. She is a lovely person and an artist and designer with that very present in the apartment. The apartment itself is spacious with a beautiful terrace looking over the hills of Nice. My wife and I really loved getting up in the morning and having coffee and breakfast with fresh baked goods from the bakery as we sat on the terrace. We are already thinking of a return to Nice at some point in the future and would very much like to return. This is the type of apartment that makes you think about what a great place a city like Nice would be to live in. I hope that you enjoy it as well like we did.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet appartement et nos impressions ont été plus que positives. L’appartement est spacieux, lumineux et très confortable, avec de grands espaces de vie et toutes les commodités nécessaires pour se sentir comme chez soi.Le balcon est particulièrement agréable, offrant une magnifique vue panoramique sur toute la ville de Nice. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié les grandes plantes qui l’ornent et qui créent une véritable atmosphère de jardin suspendu.Notre hôtesse a été très accueillante, chaleureuse et toujours disponible pour nous aider lorsque nous en avions besoin.Lors d’un prochain séjour à Nice, nous serions ravies de revenir dans ce bel appartement ouvert et convivial, qui nous a permis de profiter pleinement de notre séjour.

We stayed 8 nights and loved this apartment. The location is perfect. It's a short walk to markets, good restaurants, and public transportation. It was convenient to explore Nice and the surrounding area. The apartment has a lovely balcony where we enjoyed a glass of wine in the evenings, and the welcome breeze with a nice view of the mountains and sea in the distance.Brigette was an exceptional host. She welcomed us in person, showed us the neighborhood, and went above and beyond to help my wife when she arrived with a sore, twisted ankle. Her hospitality made our stay even more comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone wanting convenience, charm, and a thoughtful host.

Une vue extraordinaire et un emplacement idéal

Nous avons passé une grosse semaine dans le spacieux et très bien équipé appartement de Brigitte qui soigne particulièrement l'accueil. Qu'il est agréable de ne pas avoir affaire à une boîte à clés. Nous avons pu échangé sur nos vies à l'arrivée dans un bar du quartier où Brigittte nous a très gentiment invités. Elle a le sens du lien social et du partage humain. C'est réconfortant. L'appartement est idéalement situé pour avoir l'impression de vivre comme un Niçois (près du meilleur marché de Nice). Rien ne manque dans l'appartement et la vue est à couper le souffle.

Frühling in Nizza

Wir können uns unseren Vor-Bewertern die alle sehr positiv bewertet haben nur anschließen: Super Lage der Wohnung mit bester Infrastruktur (Restaurants, Einkaufen, ÖPNV), mit schöner Dachterrasse, viel Platz, warm und ruhig. Das Beste, unsere Gastgeberin Brigitte: Sie hat uns von Flughafen abgeholt und eine ganztägigen Ausflug über die Küstenstrasse über Monaco bis Ventimiglia gemacht. Ein wunderschöner Urlaub bei einer hervorragenden Vermieterin

Merci beaucoup Brigitte, für den persönlichen Empfang am Flughafen, trotz Verspätung. Wir hatten sofort das Gefühl, in der Wohnung willkommen zu sein. Obwohl die Wohnung schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist, überzeugt sie mit besonderem Charme und Atmosphäre. Die Aussicht von der Dachterrasse mit ihren vielen begrünten Pflanzenkübeln war zu jeder Zeit grandios. In der Wohnung war alles für den täglichen Gebrauch vorhanden und funktionstüchtig. Die Lage des Hauses ist so gut, dass wir in kurzer Zeit zu Fuß oder per Tram überall hinkamen. Unsere Gastgeberin nahm sich persönlich die Zeit, uns in der Wohnung und der näheren Umgebung alles zu erklären, Ausflugstipps zu geben und uns z. B. zu zeigen, wie wir Fahrkarten bekommen. Unser gemeinsamer Ausflug am Sonntag wird uns mit allen Farben, Düften, Musik und Gesprächen unvergesslich bleiben. Wir kommen jederzeit gern wieder in eine gastfreundliche Stadt zu einer herzlichen und humorvollen Vermieterin. Christian, Heike und Mareike

Traumhaft!

Wir durften unseren Sommerurlaub in einer der schönsten Ferienwohnungen in Nizza verbringen. Unsere Vermieterin hat uns herzlich empfangen und uns gerne Fragen rund um die Wohnung, wie auch um Nizza beantwortet. Das Herzstück der Wohnung ist natürlich der große Balkon mit rundum Blick. Ansonsten lässt die Wohnung aber auch keine Wünsche offen, es ist alles da was man braucht! Perfekt ist zudem die Lage. Pizzeria, Geschäfte, Straßenbahn, Bäckerei, Cafés, Fisch- und Obst/Gemüsemarkt - alles gleich nebenan. Wir werden nicht das letzte Mal dort gewesen sein!
