As featured in the May 2016 issue of Texas Monthly, this home sits on the breezy side of the canals of Key Allegro. With the finest touches of taste and class, this French inspired coastal home is the most luxurious stay you will find on the island. With some of the best views on the water, Curlew Casa has something for everyone.

Along the private waterfront deck, you will find a private boat slip and fish cleaning area. Step up from the water and take a dip in the gorgeously designed pool. Eight lounge chairs surround the pool for the ultimate relaxing stay. Feel free to use the FIVE kayaks for a morning ride through the canals or cruise out to Little Bay for a great view of the island. There is also a ping pong table set up and ready for play.

Right off of the pool, you will find an outdoor kitchen with refrigerator and commercial ice maker for your enjoyment. A few feet away, step into the outdoor living area with a 70 inch flat screen tv. Downstairs also includes two bedrooms with queen beds in each and an adjoining bathroom. Across the patio you will find another bedroom with a king bed and private bath!

Take the spiral staircase upstairs to find the masterfully designed living area. Not a detail missed, this house is truly spectacular. Windows line the living room, bar, kitchen and dining area for some of the best views around.

Upstairs you will also find the Master Bedroom and large Master Bath with His and Her Sinks and separate vanity. Bedroom #2 is also located upstairs. With two queen beds, this room will sleep 4 people and also has a bathroom.

Step out of the sliding glass doors and you're on the upstairs terrace, which includes additional lounge space and outdoor dining with seating for twelve.

This house is spectacular and can't be missed! Great for families, extended vacationers, and anyone who wants a truly luxurious vacation with all of the finest!

VRBO has started automatically collecting taxes for the state of Texas which is 6% but I am required to collect an additional 9% fee for taxes for the City of Rockport and the County of Aransas. The additional fee will not be added until after you request to stay.

Family beach trip

We had a wonderful stay. The house had everything we needed. Communication with our host was superb. Saw dolphin everyday - the family loved it. Can’t wait to go back!

Family Fishing Trip

We had a fabulous time in Rock Port. We ate great food and went fishing. Our family could sit in the hot tub, swim, fish, play ping pong and kayak. The house we wonderful with lots of space for our big family and plenty of places to gather together too!

Great house

This is a wonderful rental. The house is beautifully decorated and has all the amenities you need. The pool area is lovely and has great views of the bay.The owner is very nice and goes out of her way to make sure that you have the best possible experience. I would definitely recommend this house.

Beautiful home and great vacation!! The house is gorgeous and has everything you could possibly need. The layout is perfect for smaller groups with the spaces upstairs and downstairs separated. Beautiful pool overlooking the canal / beach. We used the kayaks and pool. The location is perfect and close to anything you’d need. We would love to go back and stay in the same house! I had to contact the home owner for a few minor questions and she was so kind and responsive.

Rockport for Christmas

Christmas in Rockport was lovely. We had great weather, house was as described(and homeowner contacted us about changes before our arrival), and the town was very welcoming and laid back. Fishing right off the dock or a short 2 block walk towards the bay. We enjoyed sunset kayaking and the hot tub. We also took a beach trip for the day to Port Aransas. Great family house and destination! Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic House

Loved everything about this property. We were there in the middle of Tropical Storm Alberto and the owner checked in frequently to make sure we were safe. The pool and hot tub were super enjoyable and the kids fished off the dock and even caught a stingray. Rooms were all good size and gave everyone a chance for some down time alone. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook, which worked out perfectly since we were stranded in the storm. Very friendly owner, great location and beautiful accommodations! Would love to stay again!

Weekend getaway

The house was beautiful. Great amenities! We didn’t utilize all the amenities in the house because we spent all of our time downstairs. It’s an amazing outdoor space that has everything you need. Beds were very soft. Plenty of towels were provided both in bathrooms and down by pool. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. House is located just a few minutes from grocery store and beach. Very convenient.

Brautiful home, Impecably decorated.

This was our second experience with this homeowner. Susanne is very friendly and responds quickly with our questions. Everyone's rooms were very comfortable and clean. This home is a beautifully decorated beach house. The weather was too cold for us to enjoy the pool or hot tub this time. It is located conveniently close to the diffrent shops in tow.

Resort style Home in Rockport

This is one of the nicest homes that one can stay in while in Rockport. Working with the owner is like working with a friend or a family member on their second home. The kids loved fishing and being outside all day and the home provides plenty for everything that is needed. We have been coming down to Rockport/Fulton since the early 2000's and our stay here felt like this was our own vacation home with the ease of everything once we arrived. Now more than ever my wife is looking for a place of our own after staying here. One way or another we will return and have already recommended this house to many of our friends.

Best house in Key Allegro!

We love staying at Casa Curlew! The house is well appointed with high end furnishings, sheets and towels, and the kitchen has everything you need to cook or bake. The outdoor grill is great for burgers and steaks. The house and property feels clean and new each time we stay! The location and the canal are top-notch and we all love the pool and outdoor entertaining area. Our kids love to use the kayaks in the canal or fish off the dock. The property manager is friendly and available for any questions or issues. We absolutely love our time at Casa Curlew and are always looking for the next chance to book it!

Family Vacation

What an amazing house with literally everything you need except your clothes and groceries. House is in the perfect spot for beautiful weather and time by the pool. Always a breeze and shade to sit outdoors anytime of day or night. House is absolutely gorgeous. So close to grocery store or anything else you need also. We will stay there again given the chance. So clean when we arrived we had to do nothing. Everything is as advertised. Nice big TVs in every room and outside. Felt like being at home without all the chores… Neighbors we met were really nice also. I can’t say enough nice things about this house all the linens and towels like new and comfy. Pillows comfy.

Wonderful Experience at a Beautiful Waterfront Home

My family and I were very pleased. We enjoyed our stay at rockport while attending graduation at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi! The house was well decorated and equipped. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. I will book this home again anytime I want to enjoy beautiful living and relaxation with family and friends.

This house is fabulous. Definitely the best house we have rented in Rockport (and there have been many). We rented this house for our family for a second time knowing that it was the best.
