Located ten minutes North of Petoskey, and ten minutes East of Harbor Springs. This condo is within the Inland house, Conway, directly on crooked lake.

Boating ventures could lead you to Pickeral lake, Crooked river, Burt and Mullet Lakes, and as far North as Cheboygan.

I can safely store your boat 1.5 miles away if you like. I do pontoon and fishing trips if interested, (licensed captain).

Has East facing lake view, murphy bed. Fridge and freezer, dishwasher, large yard, two grills outside.

Sorry no more pets, another dog was severely bitten, and ruined it for everyone.

Canā€™t beat this place. Perfect location. Between the beautiful view every morning and the size of the room (bigger than most hotel rooms) this is the place to be. Will definitely be staying here again.

The out door space is very nice. Quiet setting. This unit is need of some love.It was adequate for our needs and centrally located to travel to many places.It does not have a bedroom it is a Murphy bed and i missed that altho it was not uncomfortable.

Overall, this property was good. It was very small, but worked for 2 people. Somewhat outdated, but great potential with some improvements. The air conditioner worked great, but it was very loud... we turned the TV up when it kicked on, then back down. Lol. Bathroom shower could definitely use updates, but worked fine. Curb appeal not great from the front, but our view from the back was what made it all worth it. Beautifully landscaped, soft green grass, peaceful, with plenty of space with tables, swings and sand at the water. We really enjoyed our coffee, with the view of the water. Boat docks were very nice, and calm, waste high water to relax and swim. We even saw someone catch a few fish off the dock! Would have loved to kayak, but it was not available with our unit. Locals there were very nice, and it seemed safe. We would consider staying again.

The Condo needs to be completely remodeled, very dirty

Your first entry you will notice a smell that does not go away, everything in the condo is old circa 1980, the condo needs to be gutted and completely remodeled, the mini oven was gross, the microwave was gross, the dishwasher had old food chunks in the hinge area, the Murphy bed was old and creaky and we question whether or not the sheets had been washed, the bathroom was clean except for the ceiling vent, the refrigerator was newer and clean, only one roll of TP so we had to buy extra and we left 3 rolls for the next guests. The Inland House property was very well kept with flowers blooming and a beautiful view of the lake.

Outdated and poorly maintained

Strong musty basement-like smell that seeps into your items. Old linens that were questionable. I did go to Big lots and purchase clearance bedding and pillows to try to make my stay better- I hope the owner will use those instead. Murphy bed feels like sleeping on old pullout couch. Dirty towels hanging on back on bathroom door, dirty microwave with melted food chunks. Owner was slow in response and ignored requests for refund. I opted to only stay 1 of 4 nights because I just felt gross there. The outdoor area is great, but not good enough to make-up for this rental unit.

Convenient Location

This is a small, ground-floor, condo/kitchenette facing Crooked Lake with a beautiful shared courtyard and boat dock. The condo is a 1-room/1-bath unit that is very small. In one corner, there is a Murphy bed that pulls down into the middle of the room. The bed is surprisingly comfortable, despite its appearance. In the opposite corner, is the kitchen area with a fridge & freezer, a 3-burner stovetop (no oven), a microwave/air fryer combo, and a toaster oven. There are plenty of utensils, cups & plates, but only 1 dishtowel. In the third corner, youā€™ll find a bathroom that is well-supplied with TP and bath towels, but no hand soap, nor the nicety of shampoo. In the last corner, there is a small loveseat & chair facing a picture window and mounted tv (with cable) off to right. The space is small, but suitable for two people. It needs a thorough cleaning and we provided that feedback to the owner. Hopefully, he takes the feedback and checks up on his current housekeeper to ensure he/she is wiping down cupboards, and cleaning countertops, stove, mirrors, fan blades, baseboards, shower stall, sinks and faucets, as well as, the floor throughout the unit. If this is done, this little condo could be quite welcoming to most travelers, as this property has tremendous potential to be a nice hidden gem.

We will be back again!

Perfect location for exploring between Harbor Springs & Petoskey. The place itself has an beautiful view of the lake and the community within is friendly. Property is well maintained with beautiful flowers and a lot of patio seating. next door is a public beach which is nice if you want to put your toes in the sand or swim. The place was clean, sufficient for all of your needs. Although there is not a stove there is a nifty microwave that acts as a three in one. We will definitely be going back!

Small but nice location, kitchen area could be cleaner (food particles caked on multiple utensils, drawers loaded with excess crumbs) all of which I cleaned - made cooking more enjoyable, some attention to details would have been nice - cleaning crew left soap dispenser completely empty as well, if cleaning crew would have paid more attention to the details, the rating would have been a 5.

Cozy lake front

Sleeps 2 comfortably not 3. Laundry is not in the unit and itā€™s coin operated. Loved being able to walk out the door and be on the water. Location was ideal quick trip into Petoskey and to the bridge.

Easy Stay

We enjoyed our stay here. The condo was cozy and well kept overall. It was very quiet and nice on the lake side with easy fishing from the docks out the front door. In general the property could use a few fixups to address water and dishwasher and some delamination in the bath cabinets. Even though the floor was swept before we arrived, it wasn't clean. Every time our 3 yr old would go barefoot in the condo, the bottom of his feet would be almost as dirty as if he'd walked bare foot in a freshly tilled garden. There was a swiffer in the closet, so cleaning the floor solved that issue. The water pressure is pretty low, especially at the kitchen sink. The dishwasher did not get dishes very clean, so hand cleaning was needed even for several dishes that had been put away 'clean' before arrival. The booking site pictures did not show the bath, so we didn't realize there was no bath tub, which just makes it a challenge to bathe a toddler. If you have been spending years going "up north", you will recognize that familiar damp musty odor when you walk in, but its pretty faint at this condo and you quickly go nose blind to this. Over all, we liked the condo and enjoyed our stay. The value was fair and we would stay here again.

Mark is super easy to work with. The place is perfect for two. We love the location, between Petoskey and Harbor Springs. The chain of lakes by boat is super fun!

GREAT central location with a view!

Wanting to check out the Petoskey/Harbor Springs part of Michigan, we found this quaint and cozy place, centrally located to all we wanted to see and do. Minutes from both towns, 40 minutes from Mackinaw City. The unit is just the right size for two adults, nice table with three chairs for eating meals. Microwave, two burner stove and toaster gives you plenty of cooking options. The couch is perfectly cozy for two and we found ourselves falling asleep quite quickly after a long day of adventure. Outside the front door is a raised table for two, perfect for drinking a cup of coffee and watching the sun rise over the lake. The courtyard is beautifully maintained and is common area for all the units. There are many places to sit, eat, enjoy a fire or BBQ using one of two gas grills. Our only issue with our stay was the Murphy Bed. Itā€™s a decent size and comfortable however any movement in the bed caused a loud creaking noise, loud enough to keep you or your partner awake. Our trade off? One got the whole bed to themselves and the other took the couch. The couch was THAT comfortable so it was a win/win. If they fix the bed issue, this is easily a five star review!

Beautiful view but a few problems

Did not receive any check-in infoā€¦ neighbors were very helpful to help us find the right condo. I had to contact the Vrbo emergency number to get into the condo. Impressed to know Vrbo has a backup plan!! Some of the cups were put away dirty, which was disappointing. Made me feel like I had to wash them all. And we were not able to get the coffee maker clean enough to use. Not the end of the world, but inconvenient. Once we were inside the condo Steve did reply to our other questions in a reasonable timeframe.

Unit upstairs was stellar AND $35 less/night. This unit inferior. No Kleenex, napkins, hair dryer, only one hand towel. Microwave rusted, toaster oven disgusting. Good location but, would never stay here again šŸ˜

Short Getaway - June 2021

From the outside/curb itā€™s a revamped motel with no signage. From the condo/room- the view of the grounds and the lake are beautiful! The main entrance, located by the traffic light, is clean, leads to the court yard and the entrance to the condo. The grounds are well manicured and the surrounding condo owners were friendly. As for Suite#9, the pics of the room are accurate. The bed is comfortable and the provided linens were clean. During our stay we had a few questions so we contacted the owner and he was very responsive and responded within minutes! Highly recommend bringing a small fan to help circulate the air and to dry any damp towels after showering. If you plan on fishing, contact the owner to set up a charter. Thereā€™s a lot of water to cover and a he can put you on the fish. Overall this lil condo is a hidden gem! We will definitely be returning.

Comfortable and Convenient Lakeside Unit

We had a really good week staying here. The room had everything we needed as home base to explore the beautiful Little Traverse Bay Area and since a view of water is always a plus it was nice to have that also.
