New beautiful luxury mountain/modern style guest home on top of the mountain in a highly sought after exclusive spot, yet only 5 minutes to downtown Asheville where you can enjoy the finest dining breweries etc. Then come bear watch on the deck! Prepare something fantastic in this beautiful modern kitchen with an Induction range, with convection oven plus additional microwave/ convection oven, large stainless steel refrigerator with ice and water, stainless steel Bosch dishwasher as well as coffee/espresso maker, toaster etc. Cooking utensils dishes etc. are all provided.

Relax in the cozy king bedroom with luxury linens, flat screen TV and mountain views.

The living area has a queen size sleeper sofa,(very comfy for a sleeper sofa) flat screen TV and also has mountain views.

The gorgeous modern bathroom features a walk-in shower and separate toilet room.

Dine inside with seating for four, or outside on the beautiful patio with seating for five.

In addition to outdoor dining on the patio there is a gas grill and a stainless steel stainless steel fire pit.

In addition to the patio, there is also a separate deck, both with views.

The guest house is best suited for people without physical limitations or disabilities. As the pictures show there are amazing boluder steps going winding down to the entrance, but may possibly be difficult for some, and there is no handrail.

The guest house is attached to an area of the main house, that is rarely used so it is very private. It is connected with one exterior type locked door. It is very private and has its own entrance. The patio and deck area are private for the guest house only. We travel a lot and may or may not be in the main house while guests are staying, but if we are home we or courteous to the fact that there are guests in the guest house. Although the house is well insulated, itā€™s possible that you may hear slight sound from the main house but there is no living area above the guest house so it should be minimal.

The property was very welcoming and the view was amazing. We stayed to go to the gingerbread competition at the Grove Park Inn. This property is very close to the Grove Park Inn and is located on the top of a mountain overlooking Asheville. We also drove to Waynesville and Brevard to see the mountains. Everything was very clean and the hosts were responsive to my questions during my stay. I would stay there a gain.

Everything turned out very nice. Location is great, Mountain View is to die for. Location is Very quit and peaceful. Our stay was during the Thanksgiving Week, so the cold was starting to move in but felt nice and comfortable inside.The owners Mitch and his wife was the best. The bed is SO comfortable, we got some real needed rest.Worth every penny, and we will be back again. Marking this location as our to go home when in Asheville.Thanks for everything and looking forward to our next stay.

A beautiful and unique place to stayExquisite taste in decorating. Outstanding view of the mountains from the crearive designed patio and large deck . The place was spotless when i arrived with a lovely kitchen setting and unbelievable bathroom..wow. the bedroom was perfect with all kinds of lighting and a view of the mountains as well. This comfy place is perfect for a nice getaway. The host was more than helpful and very personable. What more can i say? Gotta come and stay. Oh..and i got to see black bears..the.highlight!!!

48 Hours in Asheville

The VRBO Property was excellent. The view was incredible and space was perfect for a family of four and a medium sized dog. The drive in and out of town was adventurous but easy enough and enjoyable. We were even lucky enough to spot a couple bears. The listing was just as advertised. Very clean and modern. Communication with the property owner was also excellent.

Truly a special rental! The property itself felt very quiet and tucked away in nature (we even had a bear stroll across the patio while we were enjoying our morning coffee). There is clearly a great pride of ownership and there were a lot of high-end touches to make it feel luxurious. Everything from the beautiful views, quick accessibility to downtown Asheville, and the ease of process in dealing with the owners made this one that we will bookmark and return again soon.

Perfection!

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend for our 15 year anniversary and everything was perfect! The pictures do not do it justice! The view is incredible, the kitchen had everything you need to cook, it was very clean, the bed was comfy, and the location canā€™t be beat! Although the Blue Ridge parkway was closed down while we were there for paving, it is about a 5 drive and the Biltmore is about a 15 minute drive. You are up in the mountains but still right in town. It takes about 5 minutes to drive downtown or to any restaurants. This will be our go to place when we visit Asheville!

Peaceful Mountain Retreat

This is our favorite place to stay when we visit this area. Things are mostly back to "normal" and there's so much to see and do. Asheville needs our tourism. Do not hesitate to come here for your next vacation.

Was a fabulous stayā€¦exceeded expectations and was a picturesque get-a-way. My wife Sherri and I are from South Florida and moved up to the Asheville area 13 years ago because we completely fell in love with it. My dad retired here about 33 years ago and after visiting him here multiple times we decided we had to be here. We enjoy traveling and do so a lot but are always happy to get back here. We enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, paddle boarding, canoeing and biking. Whether traveling or home we also enjoy dining, wineries, pubs breweries, etc. and in addition to all of the outdoor activities, there are some fantastic options these too right here in the Asheville area.

I own a couple of businesses including a construction and design company. We specialize in high-end custom residential houses, and we completed this house in early 2021. We think it is fantastic, and I hope you will too.

The location is unbeatable. This beautiful modern/rustic mountain home. is only five minutes from downtown Asheville yet feels worlds away. It is situated on 8 acres and overlooks long range mountain views. If you travel five minutes the other direction it brings you to the famous Blue Ridge Parkway. The Blue Ridge Parkway is fantastic for a little day drive, or as a access to many hiking trails, waterfalls, mountain peaks etc. The Blue Ridge Parkway has many Outlook points as youā€™re driving along to enjoy the beautiful vistas, And also provides hey scenic ride to Mount Mitchell, the highest peak in the eastern United States. This house, situated where it is Makes it a quick five minute drive to some of the areas finest restaurants, breweries etc. Yet you can come back and bear watch on the terrace .
