This VRBO offers a unique vacation for those you want to experience something different. This 3 bdrm 2 bath sits on our working family ranch. We want to share with you our piece of paradise.! You will experience peace and quiet in a tranquil setting with mountain views that are unbelievable. Did we mention sunsets? We have them too!! Imagine all of that and you are only 10 Minutes from the city of Montrose. The 3 bedroom 2 bath house is secluded and private. It has 1 king bed with master bath , 1 queen and 2 singles. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, satellite T.V. high speed internet, Large porch with B.B.Q grill as well as an outdoor gazebo . Sit on the front porch and enjoy your morning coffee , you won"t believe the views. In the spring the baby elk will be romping in the fields and the elk bulls will be growing their antlers. In the fall , listen to the sounds of elk bugling. Don't miss this awesome experience. We look forward to your visit because we know you will love it!!! .
Love to hike? We are 20 minutes from the Black Canyon National Monument

We are a little over an hour to Telluride and the drive is incredible but why pay the Telluride prices when you can tour the town for the day and come back to enjoy the starry nights on the ranch.

Summer activities : We are close to many golf courses , hiking, biking, fishing, river rafting and unique downtown shops .

The ranch was gorgeous!! The property and the house both. Great location for hitting all the nearby areas (Telluride, Ouray, Black Canyon). Would stay here again! And the donkeys were fun to feed grass to, and 2 black dogs that would come visit were the sweetest!

Incredible location

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. The home was beautiful with incredible views. The hosts were incredibly kind and our tour of the ranch was a highlight!! Seeing the elk and bison just made our trip. Highly recommend for a memorable stay! We will be back!

Surroundings are breathtaking

Hands down best location to stay in the Montrose area. Such a peaceful and beautiful place to stay. Comfortable cabin on an Elk ranch and great communication with the host.

The location was excellent. We were able to take siesta between our morning visit to BCGNP and our evening evenings sky presentation there. The property itself, the elk and buffalo, were wonderful. However, the beds in the two smaller bedrooms were creaky and uncomfortable, there was nowhere to hang clothes in the main bedroom and the kitchen had the bare minimum. Thankfully we only stayed one night so only the beds were an issue for us.

Gorgeous property!

We stayed one night with our two kids and really loved this ranch property. The house was clean and comfortable. The property had wide open spaces for kids to play, gorgeous views of the mountains and we got to see elk and buffalo on their farm.

Great Vacation

We stayed in the cabin for 5 days and used it as a base camp to explore the San Juan mountains. We day tripped to Telluride, Ouray, Silverton, and Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. The cabin was very nice and in a perfectly secluded area with a wonderful patio to relax and soak up the mountain air! Highly recommend. We will stay here again!

Quiet and Peaceful

Very nice property. Very unique-we enjoyed the peace and quiet, seeing the animals, and being the only people there. Sitting on the porch was our favorite! It’s a quick drive to Black Canyon and to Montrose. The owners are so nice. We would love to visit again!

Fishing base camp

Stayed for two nights with a friend. The property was clean and updated. The bed with very comfortable. The best part is the property itself. The grounds and the views are relaxing and beautiful taking it all in on the porch. We’ll definitely be back!

We loved everything about our stay! We came to visit family and fell in love with Antler Ridge.The house was comfortable and the hosts were very helpful, gracious, and accommodating. We were able to visit Ouray and Telluride as day trips and experience the local parks. We cannot say enough great things about our stay, we highly recommend it. Our kids especially enjoyed the visits from the black lab!

Beautiful property

Incredibly close to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison! The property is beautifully placed at the top of a hill, with gorgeous views of Montrose and the surrounding areas. We enjoyed seeing the bison and elk that were on the property. The house itself is clean and well maintained, with excellent high speed WiFi.

My husband and I both are long time residence of Montrose. We have been working our family ranch now for over 40 years , We raise both elk and bison on the ranch and love sharing our piece of paradise with our guest. Our location is just outside of Montrose but close enough for all that Montrose has to offer. The drive is peaceful and beautiful.

Montrose has a lot to offer our guests. We are only 20 minutes from the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. A must see if you are in the area. Montrose also has a great variety of restaurants and local breweries. We are close to Telluride and Ouray which our guest enjoy without paying the expensive prices of touristy towns.

Our property is unique because we are a family owned ranch. We raise elk and bison and love sharing our knowledge about them. We have the best views as we sit above Montrose , If you love nature, tranquility, starry nights, wildlife , sunsets and Mountain View.........you will love your stay.
