A gourmet kitchen looks onto an ample and lovely ‘great room’ with gorgeous views provided by the walls of glass that separate the interior and completely private front and rear courtyards. Redefining inside-out living.

Not to be outdone, a well equipped outdoor kitchen over looks the impressive, completely private rear courtyard. Outdoor dining, a glass fire feature, salt water pool & spa. Seated in foothills of the San Jacinto Mountains, peek-a-boo views of the mountains throughout the property framed by palm & olive trees, please the eye.

Automatic shades on glass walls give the option of creating privacy between living spaces, giving an expansive feel. Impressive lighting, day and night, inside and out, dazzles.

Back inside, sleeping arrangements. A large master en suite with a master bath that will make you never want to leave, does not disappoint. Two charming guest rooms on the opposite end of the home with a shared bath make for an overall, ideal space to share with friends and family. This space loves to entertain large just as much as it does a party of one or two.

A beautiful space for you to come, breath in the warm desert air, exhale your stress and thoroughly enjoy yourself. Why? Because every time you're on a getaway...you should feel as if you have arrived and leave a little bit more like yourself.

Built in 1958 Re-imagined in 2012/2013

Large master with view of the front courtyard, Cal King bed, large walk-in closet and dresser for storage. Master bath suite with free-standing soaking tub, 4’x6’ shower with rain-shower head. Large flat screen TV, Apple TV.

Two additional guest bedrooms are on the opposite side of the house and they share a full bath. Bedroom 2 has a sliding glass door opening to the courtyard, along with built-in office and closet. Bedroom 3 has large closet with mirrored doors. Both bedrooms have 46” wall-mount flat screen TV’s with Apple TV.

Living room has plenty of seating, sofa/love-seat/chair. Samsung 77” flat screen TV, with cable TV, DVD Player, Apple TV. Beautiful views of the front courtyard and pool area.

Dining room has a glass top table with 8 chairs and is open to the living room and kitchen. Table extends to provide seating for 10 (using two extra chairs, one in each guest bedroom).

Kitchen has recycled granite counters, stainless hi quality appliances and a commercial gas range, dishes/utensils and is FULLY stocked with all the necessary amenities and more! Lots of pantry area, dishwasher, gas stove and oven, microwave, and side-by-side refrigerator with in-door ice and water. Glass kitchen bar for additional seating on stools for 4.

The pool/spa will be heated upon request - INCLUDED!
Outdoor fireplace on patio as well, natural gas-fired.

Outdoor BBQ kitchen has a built-in grill with side-burner and sear burner, which runs off the house natural gas supply. Sink/disposal built into the bar, ice maker & beverage cooler and warming drawer available during non-summer season.

UNBELIEVABLE LOCATION about 1.5 blocks to famous El Paseo Drive (Rodeo Drive of the Desert). Walk to the best dining, shopping, art galleries in the desert! 3 night minimum.

VRBO will collect taxes for all stays:
11% City of Palm Desert Tax.
1% Greater Coachella Valley Convention and Visitors' Bureau.
We remit 7% also to State of California Franchise Tax Board.

Perfect stop for a Months Holiday

Loved being near the shops as my husband is a golfer. Location made us both happy. He could take the car and I could walk to shops and cafes.

Fantastic home away from home!

We spent a month working and playing in the desert. It was such a treat to wake up to beautiful sunshine every day. After a long winter in MN, we feel like our Vitamin D levels have been restored!

Another 5-star-plus stay in Palm Desert

This property has become our favourite home-away-from-home. Everyone associated with this property--from the owners and on-site manager to the cleaner, the pool guys, and the gardeners--is great. We look forward to every visit and often wish that we could stay on and on. The house is located in a great neighbourhood where just about anything you could want or need is within walking distance or a short drive. It is also a very safe and private location. We look forward to returning.

Very comfortable home with all the amenities to have an amazing time in the desert. Peaceful setting with view of the mountains. Located 2 blocks from the Paseo with its many restaurants and boutiques. If cooking is in the cards, fully equiped kitchen and outside grill. Strong WiFi signal to stream your favorite movie/show. Pool and jacuzzi at the perfect temperature for cool evenings. Great service from property manager and owners. Will definitively come back.

Beautiful Home For Our Spring Break Vacation

Everything was excellent! Our family of five really appreciated the hospitality from the start (thanks for the gifts). The owners are very thoughtful & Leigh was very helpful getting us acquainted with the house. The décor is very nice, the house is private, beautiful, quiet and relaxing. Absolutely enjoyed the heated pool, hot tub, fire pit and outdoor kitchen. Location is great and the house is well stocked with everything from towels to cooking necessities. Would rate more than 5 stars if I could. Would absolutely enjoy staying here again! Thanks again Craig, Catherine and Leigh!

Exceeded all Expectations

We really enjoyed this house as our base for 8 days in Palm Desert. We had stayed a couple years ago in the same area and continue to think this it is an excellent place to rent. We walked to dinner many nights and El Paseo (or the surrounding quiet streets) provided a great place to walk in the morning before the stores opened. Over the years I think we have stayed at 15-20 VRBO's both in the US and abroad. This was our favorite in the states and one of the top we have ever stayed in. It is well furnished, both in terms of comfortable furniture but also with the little things. The owner and manager are not trying to "nickle and dime" you in terms of supplies. It you need another roll of paper towels - they are there - along with all the soaps and kitchen things that one would need. Additionally a very nice welcome "package" is included. Totally twice what is necessary - just shows the class of the owners. While the walls are not covered with personal pictures it does feel like someones home - not a corporate impersonal rental. The manager was easy to communicate with and great to meet and deal with on both ends. In terms of privacy the back yard is completely private - but the house is "see though". While the front yard is 99% private someone standing at the front gate could see into or through the house to the pool area. If you did not come in through that gate normally you might not notice that. BUT please note that the house is furnished will very well made automatic blinds so you can put the blinds down on the front (while still retaining a good amount of light) if you are that concerned about privacy. I will note than in our 8 days no one came to the gate - it's a quiet street and the manager respects your privacy. We felt totally at ease watching TV at night with the shades "up. There are also blinds on the back of the house as well. The master bath is great with an awesome rain shower - all in all a super house. To sum it up my wife and I agreed "we would buy this house"!

Very relaxing and very private. Loved this house inside and out!! Zero complaints.

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and had the most relaxing week. This house has everything you need, great kitchen for cooking and even an outdoor kitchen, an amazing pool and hot tub, and it’s very private. We’ve stayed at a lot of air bnbs and this is by far was the best one. Has everything you need in the kitchen including cooking oils, spices, and all the gadgets you can think of. If your looking for a romantic spot with your spouse or even a fun spot for a group of <6 this is wonderful place to come. Thanks again to the owners who are amazing!!

Unbelieveable stay in Palm Desert!

All guests agreed - this was by far the best VRBO rental they have ever stayed! This house is truly an oasis in the desert. Your every need is taken care of and then some. It's very private, clean, well kept, and perfectly stocked. The owners are so wonderful to work with and are so attentive in anything you need. And you can't beat the location! We had a terrific Mom-cation here and we can't wait to return! Wish I could give it 6 stars!

Perfection!

My family of 4 stayed here for five days and it was an amazing experience from booking to departure! We have stayed at many VRBOs, but none even came close to this one. I could write a novel here, but will just try and hit the highlights... From the moment we booked this home, the owners were unbelievable. I mean that literally...I was stunned over and over by their generosity and thoughtfulness. I reached out with a few questions ahead of time, and received the kind of detailed replies you get from good friends. The owner, knowing my kids were training for an upcoming athletic event, even thought to let us know that there was an annual Women in Sports conference going on during our stay we might want to attend. Seriously...what owners do that?? (Spoiler alert...THESE OWNERS do that!) The house, and especially the grounds, are nicer than pictured. I am a clean freak, and the entire property (inside and out) was immaculate, even by my standards. And, unlike even the nicest properties we've stayed in before, even the little touches in the house were top notch...The towels, the kitchen equipment, the furniture, the outside furniture...EVERYTHING was high quality and like new. It made me want to care for this property like I care for my own home. Unlike typical VRBOs, there was an abundance of spices, oils, coffee pods, etc in the cupboard...some of it unopened! I even felt comfortable using spices that were already opened, which is a sign of just how clean everything felt. My sense from the photos was that the inside furniture looked styled for the house, but probably wasn't comfortable. Sleek furniture often isn't. But I was surprised, especially by the kitchen stools and dining tables, which were super comfortable. We have been to the area before, and really needed some solid relaxation this time. We barely left the house! But, I should mention it's in a nice quiet neighborhood, and you can walk easily to lovely shops and restaurants. The house is almost all glass, and totally private...truly. The front yard is a beautiful desert garden, and the backyard is a relaxing oasis. I am getting sad just remembering how fabulous it is, and wishing I was back there now! We booked our return visit within 48 hours of leaving this house -- We've never done that before!! Thank you, Craig, Catherine, and Leigh...See you next year!!

Lovely home to enjoy Palm Desert from - very private and excellent to enjoy the outdoors

This home was excellent for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 young adults). The master bedroom is on one side of the home and the 2 guest bedrooms on the other end with their own bath. We loved the heated pool, hot tub and fireplace. The kitchen was very well stocked and even had extra items in the pantry to use. Excellent beds, bedding and towels. I especially enjoyed the privacy the home had (walled in front and back with a secured gate) and the massive windows on both sides of the living room. The owners were wonderful to work with; and so was the local property manager. We would highly recommend this home and renting here again.

Another Great Stay in Palm Desert!

We thoroughly enjoyed our third two-month stay at this lovely mid-century modern bungalow in Palm Desert. Everything about it--from the location (just a short walk to El Paseo and all it has to offer; almost next door to a very good golf course; just a short drive away from Total Wines, Jensen's and Whole Foods, and other purveyors of fine comestibles; and a very reasonable distance from Palm Springs and all its amenities, activities, and services, including the airport) to the house itself (very private and safe; great layout; well furnished, outfitted, equipped, and cared for) is first class. We particularly enjoyed the heated salt-water pool and spa and the new outdoor furniture, which was perfect for sitting in the sun during the day or around the firepit in the cooler evenings. All the people associated with the house from Catherine and Craig (the owners) to Leigh (their local agent) to Esperanza (the cleaner) to all the hard-working young men who come to take care of the pool and the yard are also first class. We're already looking forward to our return to Palm Desert and what we're beginning to think of as "our" house in the sun for several more winters to come.

This was our families second stay here. The house is perfect- clean, modern, and very very well appointed. The location works very well for us. I love the privacy established by the fence and landscaping as well. Honestly it's just a great property and a great rental experience. We can't wait to come back and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great house in a great location. Thank you for letting my family inhabit your home for the week :).

Amazing Family Spring Break

We just returned from a great week in Palm Desert! This home has everything that you could ask for in a rental, the attention to detail is next level. The location could not have been better for our family, we did rent a car but won't in the future as it was parked in the driveway for the majority of the week. We walked to shops, restaurants, laid by the pool, and went on a couple hikes....exactly what we wanted for our family vacation. Thank you, we will for sure be back!

Palm Desert Excellence

Fabulous ownership and management, exquisite furnishings, excellent amenities - this home is a home away from home. We literally packed our clothes and this home thought of everything else. We lounged, entertained, sat poolside, and enjoyed our stay from the moment we arrived until our departure date. The location is perfect and the weather allowed us to use everything from the fire ring to the spa and grilled using the fabulous outdoor kitchen. We have stayed at many vacation properties around the globe and I cant think of one thing that this home lacked. The owners, Catherine and Craig, could not have been more accommodating from confirming dates, managing deposits, and following up. Special thanks to Leigh for a wonderful reception and property walk through on our arrival. Leigh paid tons of attention to detail and was awesome. Looking forward to a return visit.

Immaculately cared for home with everything you need for a great Palm Desert Vacation.

The recently renovated home is ideally set up for two couples or a family. It has been beautifully furnished and has a fantastic pool and outdoor kitchen. The home is located within walking distance of El Paseo Dr. with all the wonderful dining and shopping options. The owners and their local agent are very responsive and extremely helpful in arranging your stay in Palm Desert. The home is very well cared for and equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

Great house, great location!

Beutiful newly remodeld home. Very well appointed kitchen, outdoor kitchen area, gas fire pit, pool and spa. Easy short walk to El Paseo. Master is fabulous, hang out/ entertaining area is really wonderful. Everything is top notch, has everything you need for a great time in the desert. Highly reccommend it.

Beautiful desert retreat!

What a wonderful property and owners! We were greeted upon arrival by their rental representative (she was lovely!) and given a quick tour and walk through. The house is comfortable but luxurious with a separate master suite area. We cooked several meals and found everything we could possibly need in the kitchen. And don't underestimate having a great wine glass! They really thought of everything, with quality. We also spent time in the pool and on the patio. Great outdoor kitchen for informal lunches / BBQ. Our weekend coincided with Desert Trip and we surprised visiting family with the rental house, and they could not have been happier! Thank you for a lovely stay, I hope we'll be back soon!

Beautiful home and fantastic owner and property management

The home was very comfortable, recently remodeled, the living area is beautiful and the master suite was fantastic. I also loved that one of the guest rooms had a king bed. It's nice to have that option outside of the master suite. The Outdoor pool, bbq and firepit area were awesome. Some of the things that set this apart from a standard rental for us were the selection of cooking tools and utensils available (often it's bare bones in vacation rentals) The Master was beautiful and the master bath was amazing. There was a high level of technology in the home from electronic blinds to easy to use pool controls and air conditioning. The outdoor kitchen was awesome as was the firepit. Nice location, a super easy walk to El Paseo and last but not least both the owner and property manager were super attentive and accommodating and just awesome to deal with. Before, during and after our stay I was impressed by their attention to detail and responsive follow up with me. Thank you! You made our trip wonderful!

Perfect location for the perfect relaxing vacation!

We really enjoyed our 12 days at this property. As other reviews have mentioned, this home has everything you need for your vacation - they even provide the coffee!! The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and BBQ'ing, including BBQ utensils. The house is well furnished with high end mid century modern pieces. Some of the great features include electronic blinds, an amazing master ensuite, top of the line linens, and very large flat screen tv's for evening entertainment. The recently redone pool was fantastic, and we enjoyed falling asleep on the pool floats daily! The beautifully designed private front and back yards are very quiet. Both the gardening and pool staff that work on this home do a great job as we have stayed in many VRBO homes in the PS Area and these folks are the best! The location couldn't be better as it was perfect for walking to restaurants and shopping on El Paseo. The Manager Leigh was great to work with and super responsive to questions before and during our stay. Our deposit was also returned promptly. About the owner: A couple who loves to escape to the desert from their primary residence in Seattle, WA. After work opportunities brought them to the desert, they found this home in 2012 and did a massive 6-month remodel to restore the mid-century modern house (built in 1958) to its glory with modern, high quality, euro sleek touches.

Palm Desert has great weather, sunshine, warmth and easy proximity to the coast. And the fact that the weather is the opposite of Seattle! PD is just a short plane ride away and always great weather and relaxing. Location was a big part of it- and it is hard to find a more convenient and fun location than this. The layout of the home was perfect with great open spaces for entertaining; the master bedroom was large and separated from the other two bedrooms - great for everyone's privacy! The outdoor spaces are just as enjoyable as the interiors! We often have trouble deciding where to start. Drink coffee in the front courtyard or in the back at the outdoor kitchen bar. Hang out by the fire or by the pool. Since we can see it all from the inside/out style living space and glass walls, choosing becomes less of a chore.

Getting up with the sun in the morning and going for a run is one of the best things- run through the neighborhood, or going to the trails a couple miles away to do the “bump and grind” run/hike with other fitness enthusiasts. Then, winding up with a cool-down walk on El Paseo and stopping at Starbucks for your morning coffee. Enjoy your day relaxing by the pool, using the BBQ at night, the outdoor fire pit, walking to what will be one of your new favorite restaurants for dinner, etc. A round of golf whenever you feel like it. Amazing evenings. You could have dinner every night for a year and not repeat a restaurant- however I do have some of favorites, just ask. Armando’s (by far) is the favorite, then Sullivan’s, Tommy Bahamas, many more. Or Happy Hour just about anywhere. Mamma Gina's, Firecliff, Daily Grill, Mastro’s, or if you need to find football- try Buffalo Wild Wings, Cactus Jacks - lots of options!! Incredible opportunities to enjoy local attractions. The local zoo, Joshua Tree (which will make you feel like you've never seen the night sky before), the Palm Springs Tramway (a must see and opportunity to take a relaxed stroll around Mount San Jacinto with breathtaking views of the Coachella Valley), just to name a few and not to mention the world renowned events, concerts and sporting events this area attracts!
