Comfortable Muskoka chairs and picnic table with umbrella on outdoor decks. All under a beautiful canopy of Savvanah Oak trees and nestled within a beautiful bluffs.

3x king beds, 2x pull out queen beds, 2x double beds, 2x twin bunk beds, 3x full baths, and wi-fi.

3x separate living areas including a cozy sunken conversation pit with stone mantel fireplace. Central air, fireplace and BBQ. Full kitchen with dishwasher and gas cookto. 2x passes to use for the Pinery Provincial Park during your stay. Parking for 10 cars.

Did not disappoint

Travelled with our family of 4 and my sister’s family of 4. More than enough room and beds for everyone. Sparkling clean, central AC and many beds and spaces for people to sleep. Highly recommended for multiple family trips. Easy access to nearby beaches and restaurants.

Great stay with big family group

We just got back from our weeklong stay at this amazing house. We were a family group of 10-12 adults (not all stayed the whole week) and 6 kids 5 and under. The house was even better than we were anticipating. It is very spacious. The house has a large kitchen that housed our too-many cooks. The front porch you see in the main picture that over looks the driveway was a nice relaxing place to enjoy your morning coffee or just relax any time of the day. It is hard to tell from the picture but it is a huge porch. The house has 3 levels of sleeping spaces. The extra dining area and fridge upstairs were helpful. Stan, the owner, was very thoughtful, and left baby gates in the house for us, as well as let us use a stroller the house ad, as well as some toys. The booking process for this home was very easy, and dealing with Jane at Bluewater Cottage rentals was great, she was very responsive to emails and helpful with all our questions. The house also included 3 annual passes to the provincial park, which was awesome, because the house is 5 minutes from the park, and someone (if not all of us) were there most days, some days just to watch the sunset. The house has a fully stocked kitchen, which we took full advantage of. On the main floor there is a sunken fire pit area, which we didnt use as a fireplace because it was warm, but it was a perfect place to keep the kids and their toys contained. There is also an outdoor firepit area which we used a few of the nights. It is a large area that we could all sit around. The house itself is in a secluded wooded area and has a very private feel. The huge driveway was great for the kids to run up and down and color with chalk. The many balconies were even more nice spaces to hang out in. We all had a wonderful stay at this house, I would highly recommend it to anyone!

A hidden treasure

This chalet is truly a gem. The pictures don’t do it justice but I’ve never been in a more beautiful. The decor in this place is eclectic, modern, and very stylish. The host was very communicative and kind. The place was well stocked with dishes, cooking stuff, pots, pans, spices, towels, bedding, and even firewood for the amazing firepit! There is a beautiful trail at Pinery a short walk away and the cottage comes with two park passes. Brand new technology. The house is very clean and my family and I can’t wait to be back. We had a group of 13 and the place comfortably slept everyone. There’s lot of places to lounge around and overall everyone had an amazing stay! Highly recommend :)

Beautiful Cottage

The cottage is absolutely gorgeous. Very spacious and in a great location. Very close to Pinery park, and came with vehicle passes for day use. The beaches in the area are great.

Great property with close location to attractions

The prpoerty is located in a very nice area close to the Pinery and Grand Bend. Has everything you need with a great fire pit to enjoy your evenings

Wonderful relaxing stay

Great location for hiking in the Pinery. Stan and Leslie were outstanding hosts. Their home was very comfortable with space to spread out or gathering spots to share time together. Made for a wonderful family get together. Would definitely come back.

Amazing property! Everyone was very impressed as they drove up and even more so as they came in!

Would highly recommend this place, lots of stuff in the kitchen for everyone to use! Loads of space and comforts! Had a 60th bday here and slept 4 families very comfortably! Great place! Great stay!

Great time!

We had a fantastic time in Grand Bend. The property was clean and welcoming when we arrived. It had everything we were looking for to accommodate our large family and it had everything we needed for cooking our meals or barbecuing. We enjoyed having the Pinery passes also. The fire-pit was perfectly located for evening fires and sing songs. The location was nice and private. I would not hesitate in recommending this property. G.Noble/July 14th-21st 2018.

Girls Weekend 2018

This property is amazing! We were a group of 9 with plenty of room for sleeping - house was huge and absolutely beautiful! Stunning views. Large dining area in which we all had room to sit around the dining room table to enjoy dinner and chat. A gorgeous deck that we all had room to sit on and enjoy a morning coffee. House has windows everywhere to enjoy the view. A gorgeous living room area with television and fireplace to enjoy. We loved our campfire outside at night as well! Walking trails close by and the Pinery within walking distance. Some of us enjoyed a morning run along the trail while others enjoyed relaxing on the property. Close to Grand Bend too! HIghly recommend!

Amazing cottage!

This cottage is amazing! Lots of space, impeccably clean, all the amenities you could need to have a great beach vacation. Beach is pretty close and is beautiful. The house is also great for kids! Our boys were able to run and play at their hearts content. Great fire pit space for marshmallows and wonderful area. Owners are super friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back!

Great cottage for a large group

We held a bachelor party weekend..everything was perfect. 15 guys had lots of space, amenities and very clean. We were fortunate enough to meet the owner...very nice and accommodating. The cottage has everything you need...towels, linens, condiments etc. We loved our time here. We will be back!!

Guys Group Getaway

We had 14 old friends come up and stay at this cottage for a weekend in June. The cottage was amazing. Very spacious, great layout, and plenty of sleeping area to comfortably accommodate our whole group. Cottage is less than 10 mins from the strip and beach in Grand Bend. Would highly recommend this cottage and will be returning for sure!

Perfect for getaway from the busy city - Bachelorette Weekend

I recently hosted a girls weekend getaway for a close friends bachelorette party. This cottage was great. Very clean and tidy. There was lots of room, easy to find and the full kitchen was awesome to cook meals in. The location was great, closer to home for those that just wanted to get away from the city for the afternoon, or had an emergency and needed to go home to kids, etc. Short distance into Grand Bend. SmackWater Jacks was very accommodating to offer a shuttle service and picked us up and return us home at the end of our evening. The sunken fire pit was a great feature and there was a karaoke speaker for evening entertainment. We had a blast. All 11 ladies were highly impressed with the accommodations of this cottage. Would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone and holds a large volume of people. We were very comfortable with 11 ladies and still had plenty of room to spare.

AMAZING

We were a group of 13 and everyone loved the cottage! It's isolated by trees so perfect for a quiet getaway and relaxation! The cottage inside is beautiful and clean! The drive to the main strip and beach isn't bad at all (10mins max)! There's a fire pit which is a plus because most cottages now a days don't allow bonfires. In general we had a great time and would definitely go back and recommend it to everyone else!

I purchased the Pinery Bluffs Chalet as a vacation home in 2001. I love the proximity to the Pinery Provincial Park and its beautiful beaches, trails and Carolinian style forest. My love of nature, wildlife, the Lake Huron habitat and warmer climate influenced my purchase of this property. My family and I have spend a lot of summers on the sandy beaches playing in the sand and watching the gorgeous Lake Huron sunsets.

Pinery Bluffs Chalet may well be the loveliest house you ever set foot in. A Frank Lloyd Wright inspired design on three levels, with walkouts and balconies at each, mean that all rooms feel spacious and well lit, no matter what the temperature is outside. The furniture is elegant, and well-coordinated! The overall effect is so relaxing, that even when the weather is perfect, as it often is in this sheltered spot, you may seriously have to ask yourself whether you want to leave this harmony and elegance, even for a few hours. This chalet is in a rare oak savannah forest, unique to the shores of Lake Huron. There is an abundance of wildlife including deer, wild turkey, it is a birder's paradise. You are cycling distance from the 9 beaches of Pinery's sandy shore on Lake Huron, where you can relax in the warmest Great Lake water in Ontario, or step up into the dunes to snap shots of California-style whitecaps, and savannah grasses drifting in the breeze. This year round park offers activities for every season such as canoeing, hiking, biking and cross country ski trails. There is a year round nature centre at the park, and indoor/outdoor programs presented by a naturalist.
