CONDO had A FULL RENOVATION,WITH BEAUTIFUL UPGRADES AND ALL NEW FURNISHINGS. The condo is a 1700 sq ft. ocean front, fifth floor, two bedroom, two bathroom condominium with AC that offers stunning views of Hawaiian sunsets, whales, sea turtles, and the islands of Molokai and Lanai from the living area, master bedroom and lanai. The beach area is less than fifty feet from the condominium, children safe, and great for sunbathing, snorkeling or paddle-boarding. The unit offers all the amenities you will need to have a relaxing stay in the paradise called Hawaii.
Additional amenities include: workout room, washer/dryer, laundry, queen sofa bed, restaurant, lanai, tennis, golf course nearby, elevator, free DSL internet, golf nearby, gas bbq's.

Very clean and roomy!

The space was very clean and included everything you would need including beach and pool equipment. I would highly recommend staying here.

Our Favorite Vacation

Our favorite place to stay in Maui is the Sands of Kahana - you know what they say…Location, Location, Location. This condo is ocean front and the most beautiful view. Everything you need is on the property. The condo and exactly as seen in the posted pictures and has everything you need to enjoy your vacation

Wonderful view!. Nice resort property with almost everything you could want for your vacation. Condo clean and well stocked kitchen. Found the primary bed very hard for our taste, but just a personal choice. Will definitely consider returning:)

Oceanfront Condo - BEAUTIFUL

The condo is absolutely beautiful. The host, Gail, is very responsive. My husband and I had a wonderful trip. The location is perfect with a few restaurants in walking distance. The condo has a full kitchen, but we did not cook on our stay. The in-house washer and dryer is perfect and was used. I would recommend booking this condo as you will not be disappointed.

Our second time here.

Great property. Excellent location. We had three separate units rented for 10 days. A couple of things need updating , still a great experience, nice place.

Best Sands Stay In 32 Years

We have stayed in this unit before when it was owned by a different person. It has improved greatly. It is well stocked. Everything was in great condition. There was a young woman that stopped by right after our arrival to check that everything was in working condition including every light bulb in the unit. Spent every morning watching the Ocean. Great for people watching too. Close to everything, but have to admit we were so happy that we almost never left the condo. Owner/ Manager were very easy to work with. Very patient and cooperative with our requests.

Very nice updated unit, older property

We've been traveling to Maui every other year for the past 12 years and have had the chance to stay at multiple properties on Kaanapali Beach. The unit was recently and nicely updated, well equipped for cooking, comfortable, and had a beautiful view of the beach. The unit was also very clean. There is an air conditioner in the living room, which is a plus because many of the units at the property do not have any A/C; however, it was loud and, unfortunately, not big enough to cool the 2nd bedroom while we were there. Each room has a ceiling fan, but the 2nd bedroom was still too warm. When it comes to the resort, it is an older, worn property. The pool area is small given the number of units and there is no shade directly around the pool. There are some lounge chairs under trees that faced the beach, which gave way to a beautiful view to look at, but it is also a small area. The property has grills available for use and they were in good working order and clean. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but probably would not return to this particular resort.

Thank you for your review. I will pass your comments about the resort on to the HOA. There is an improvement plan for updates for the exterior of the buildings, etc. They have recently just completed installing new elevators over the summer. The maintenance team did find the filter in the AC was not working properly, which attributed to the noise and lack of efficiency, so I apologize for that, although as you mentioned we are thankful to have AC. The value of our beautifully updated oceanfront condo and the size of the condo are a rare find in condos in Maui and hope you think about returning in the future. Mahalo Gail

Great condo

This condo is in very well maintained. Beautiful oceanfront with view of Molokai right across the water. We have been staying at the Sands of Kahana for several years. This is the best unit we've stayed in yet.

Spectacular views and spacious!

My family has been coming to this side of the island for many years and have never had stayed in this particular resort. The location of this 5th floor unit is fantastic, because of its unobstructed views of the islands and privacy from the other units. The newly remodeled layout is modern and spacious with a fabulous kitchen. Easy quick steps to beach and pool. We will definitely be back! Best place we have stayed in West Maui!!!!!

Beautiful view in an excellent location

The property is the largest condo I have stayed at in Maui. Beautiful panoramic ocean views. The condo has air conditioning and was recently remodeled so is very up to date and clean. You can snorkel on the beach right in front of the property. My husband saw turtles every day!

Beautiful place with a view that was outstanding.

Although we had some issues with losing electricity, our stay was fantastic. The electricity problem took several days to fix, the impact was minimal. We appreciated the help from Pat. We had everything we needed. We went on several trips laid out by the facility. I would suggest maybe a brush in the kitchen for easier clean up. I would book it again gladly. I would also recommend it to others.
