Spacious home just a short walk to the beach with a screen porch

Cozy beach home on the beautiful Isle of Palms. Located one block from the beach the walk is 500 ft. to the Palm Blvd public access. Enjoy a great open floor plan with vaulted ceilings in the living and dining room and large flat-screen TV. Kitchen features granite countertops with a gas stove. Kitchen overlooks the combination living/dining room with a large dining room table. This is a raised house but all the bedrooms and living space are all on one level. Inside there are a total of 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, each bedroom has a flat screen TV. Master bedroom has a private bathroom.

Wake up and sip your coffee from the comfort of a covered porch out front. Later on you can enjoy a relaxing dinner cooked on the gas grill outside on the screened porch and open deck out back. Under the house there is plenty of parking and a hot and cold outside shower.

Nice enough house, very dark in the front from missing lights, wires just hanging out of the eave, didn’t care for the door that led into the kitchen from under the house with no blinds on it.

Twin room was really small, I’d probably only recommend one twin bed in there. For bathrooms, only one full bath is really accessible to everyone, the other is an en suite and the third is just a toilet. So keep that in mind with a group.

Layout with two bedrooms each on either side of kitchen lends to more privacy, but house a bit small for 6-8 if unrelated! House could use some deep cleaning as well as stain removal from carpets in bedrooms. The layer of grime really takes away from an otherwise nice house.

Great Home With Easy Beach Access

The home was wonderful and just a block from the beach. It was spacious and comfortable. Every bedroom had a t.v., which was nice. We had trouble with the Direct TV initially, but they sent someone over to look at it and it worked the rest of our stay. It does not sleep 10 as listed and only sleeps 8. That means one member of our group had to sleep on the couch. Since the home opens with a code, it's strange that we had to stop by Island Realty rather than just going straight to the home. In other places we have stayed, basic condiments, in particular salt and pepper, were provided. Also normally laundry detergent is provided. These things were not provided. One major plus is that the master bath has a walk in shower with a bench. This was amazing for my 80-year-old mother. We would recommend this home and would stay there again.

Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our 50 night stay at this quiet home on Cameron Blvd. Sitting out in the large screen porch in the evening times listening to the ocean waves come on shore was very relaxing. The master bath walk-in shower was the perfect size for one person, but big enough for two. I enjoyed cooking meals in the open kitchen, while being able to watch my football games on tv. The only item needed in this great affordable beach home would be to have a bigger, more modern 4k type tv in its large open family room. My walks on the nearby beach at sunset were very enjoyable. Island Realty Staff and Maintenace People are the BEST PERSON'S I have ever worked with, over the last 10 years of vacation home stays along the Charleston area beaches! My first choice in beach vacation homes will now be ISLAND REALTY. The

The beach access was close, and the location was peaceful with very little traffic in front because of the dead end street. The one-level layout of the house and split bedroom floor plan were nice. The great room and dining area were roomy. We used the gas grill for a couple of meals and sat on the screened porch when temperatures allowed. The landscaping and concrete pad underneath were kept clean and neat, and we were able to pull two cars underneath for shade. Overall, this was our favorite of the dog-friendly houses we’ve rented.

Everyone had a private toilet and we shared showers with one couple. The beds were adequate but not comfy. The king fitted sheet would not stay on the bed and there were no pillow cases for any more than 2 pillows per bed. One Queen room had a crinkle bed cover/protector made noise when moving in bed. Understand its a pet friendly, but carpet in BRs were very stained. Kurig didn't work and no top to blender could be found. No broom and dustpan for easy touch up of floors. Not any yard room in back, only a small front yard for playing outdoor games.

It is 1 block from the beach and accommodated our 6 adults, 2 toddlers and 2 dogs perfectly! Much more affordable than the monstrosities on the beach! But overall we had a fantastic stay and would stay again. Enjoy!

The large open area of the kitchen, dining room and living room was great for being able to be together as a family. Unfortunately, the dishes were not clean. We had to rewash all the dishes to be able to use them. The floor was full of sand as well. Other than that the house was great. Thank you.
