Welcome to the newly updated 1 bedroom, 2 bath Gulf Front Condo! Comfortably sleeping 6, King bed in master, bunks in the convenient alcove area, and a Queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Your expansive balcony allows everyone to enjoy watching the dolphins in the early morning or the amazing Panhandle sunsets.

Tidewater is a Gulf-front condominium resort that’s located within walking distance of Pier Park!  This resort features more amenities than almost any resort on the beach with an onsite Movie Theater, state-of-the-art fitness center, Roman spas, sauna, Indoor, heated pool, two outdoor pools, and hot tubs, on-site restaurant and bar, 2nd-floor Lending Library, and Business Center and so much more.  Pier Park includes everything you’d want from an outdoor mall - it’s your one-stop-shop (one-stop-shop-full-of-shops, that is).

*Guest will need to pre-register online and pay for parking passes and armband BEFORE arrival. An additional fee will occur if you register the day of.

Nice place

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice condo, with beautiful beach view. The only complaint is the room was not as clean as I would expect. Busy elevators made getting to room and back down challenging.

Softball Turnament

We stayed for a softball tournament and it was on a great location, the only issue was the elevator took for ever to go up and down.

Condo Was Very Clean property building needed clean

The condo we stayed in was very nice. You could tell it had been recently painted and updated although the cleaning personnel use products that make the floor go, very sticky as well as furniture a quick wipe down, helped eliminate that. However, the building itself needed a lot of maintenance such as only one elevator on the side of the building we were on worked and one in the garage.People were waiting 20 minutes or more. Then in the elevator there with dog feces. The spa steps were very slimy causing me to fall. I hope they get the building repaired

Beautiful condo with beautiful view

We came ro PCB to enjoy the beach and be close to great dining and entertainment. This condo gave us wverything we needed. Would definitely stay there again!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The building and unit was dated. The elevator system was HORRIBLE with the number of people at this property. An average wait time for the elevator was 30min. At times, we waited 45+ minutes. The check in process was lengthy, and involved hidden fees. The unit was dated, had a substantial amount of mold between the “master” shower and vanity that had been there for some time, mold on the shower curtain, and a toilet that needed maintenance. Other guests were smoking marajuana on their balcony which made it difficult to want to sit outside with a pregnant wife.

Elevator issues

The elevators at Tidewater are basically terrible, they have issues and need to hire a professional company to diagnose. Witnessed and experienced 30 minute waiting periods.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Blue Swell and the unit were both great. Blue Swell was easy to work with, friendly, and prompt with communication. The parking garage and elevators made this building extremely unenjoyable. Never in my life had I experienced such tremendous waits for elevators and such a narrow dangerous parking garage. I would 100% rent from Blue Swell. I will NEVER go back to the Tidewater building again.

We Loved It !

Great stay

We love this property! This was our second year in the same room. We spent much of our time on the balcony watching sea turtles, sharks, dolphins, and manatees. The only negative thing about TideWater is the elevator wait. However, once you know which hours to avoid, it is easy to navigate around the wait.

Great location

Property and location were great. The elevators were a major issue on our arrival day(Saturday and lasted thru Monday) the wait times were terrible. Anything you would need at home is provided in your condo. Beach chairs were not included in this rental and it would have been a huge plus if they had been. We ended up going and buying beach chairs and an umbrella rather than paying over $300 for the week to rent beach chairs there. And FYI if you do rent them, they take the beach chairs up at 430 everyday, whether you’re in them or not. There is a lot of road construction going on in front of the resort so walking anywhere can be an issue as there are no sidewalks. This in no way a negative review, I just want to inform whomever maybe going to be aware. We would happily stay there again.

Family vacation

We loved this condo at Tidewater. The view on the 16th floor is absolutely beautiful. Walked in, everything was very clean. They provide more than enough towels for you. The owner is very responsive, anytime I had a question, he always got right back to me. This is a great condo. We didn’t have any issues with the elevators as many people say they do. But we went the first week of August. So it may have been less busy.

A Few issues but great vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Let me start off by saying that I have rented thru Blue Swell twice. First experience was great with zero issues, 2nd and most recent had a few bumps in the road. With that being said, my family and I had an amazing week and the weather was spectacular! The rental itself was very clean and had enough room for my family of 3. The couch and rug were overly worn but that didn’t affect our stay at all. My only suggestion for the owners are pot holders!!! The view from the balcony was phenomenal!! This was our first stay at the Tidewater and to no surprise the elevators are a huge issue. Be ready to wait and cram into an elevator when one finally arrives. The TW staff was great and friendly tho. As for Blue Swell, I can’t thank them enough for allowing us to check in early. Had a few issues, on Sunday we got back to our room from the beach and our door code had stopped working. Had to call 4 different times to get an actual person after leaving 3 messages. The gentleman who helped was very apologetic and got us right in. The same day, we left our beach outside our door to dry trying to be courteous to the home owners and someone stole my 12 year olds beach chair. Kinda shocking considering they speak of all the security. However, it was just a beach chair. We did have issues with the air not turning on. BS said the thermostat was set to not go below 74, but we never heard or felt cold air coming out of the vents. They did send someone the next day and it was fixed for the remainder of our stay. Overall, the rental itself was great, Blue Swell did try to make every issue right, and I would stay at the Tidewater again as long as I was on the 7th floor or below due to the elevator!!

Disappointed

The furniture was worn, we found three roaches in our unit. The mattress was very uncomfortable. A lot of the elevators were down so it took 30-45 minutes to get to your room. There’s road construction near the condo. The unit above us was doing construction. The cards were stacked against us on this trip. Very disappointed for the money we spent.

The place is nice and clean. Quiet and comfortable. Great views of the water.

The kitchen is pretty well stocked but not much in the way of spices. That is disclosed in the write up so it was not a surprise. There was some soap and shampoo in the bathrooms so that was nice. The building is quiet and clean and so was the condo. The pictures and write up of the place are accurate. I would recommend this place.

Run by property management- not a VRBO experience

Pillows flat/horrible/old bed uncomfortable, mattress old; bunk max weight 100lbs, extra linens thrown on floor in closet, didn’t feel like a good caring VRBO-one of 200+ condos managed by 3rd party, no contact with actual owners, bare minimum of items (trash bag-1, cheap TP & paper towel) Great water pressure; 3rd part threatening saying “tell us now what’s wrong, not when you leave & then as for refund.” I would not recommend- plenty of other nicer options in area

Poor Management Average Property

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: In my communication with Blue Swell from the time of booking the property I requested an early check in if available. The day before I left I sent an email verifying if everything was in order and if my early check in was confirmed. The email response was, "You are all set!" We had the gate code and unit door lock combo in our mobile app. We brought all of our belongings, groceries, luggage, etc. to the 16th floor. The door lock would not work. I contacted Blue Swell who had to check to see if early check in was available, which they verified, and told me I would need a different door code for entry. To give me that access it would be a $75 charge which was not mentioned in any communication. I had the choice to pay it or take all of our stuff down 16 floors and back to the car. If the unit wasn't available then I would have made different plans as far as grocery shopping. It doesn't make any sense to have a unit available that we paid for the entire day and then charge almost the equivalent of a days rental before fees for a couple of hours. Blue Swell then acted like they did me a favor by letting us check in early sense their early check in wasn't until 2pm, once again never communicated. Even thought they failed on their communication I was still charged the $75. Overall 1603 was clean, the furniture was dated, door jams were dirty, and you were lucky to barely get two hot showers if people were showering at the same time. The kitchen was nice and had everything you would need. Good for an off season stay, but would not recommend Tidewater during the busy season. The property was sufficient but Blue Swell is terrible to work with.
