Enjoy your charming two bedroom duplex located within walking distance to downtown Napa. European Style and charm and all the amenities you will need for your comfort. Located in a safe and convenient location. A perfect place for those staying 1 month or more; such as corporate travelers, traveling nurses/medical personnel or wine industry personnel. From your duplex you can commute anywhere in the Napa Valley, Marin, and to Vallejo, Benicia, Fairfield, Sonoma and more areas. We are within walking distance (approximately 1 mile), to downtown Napa with all of its wonderful shops, wine tasting rooms and world class restaurants! Your 2 bedroom 1 bath duplex with full kitchen, dining and living room has everything you will need; linens, pots/pans, dishes, towels, cleaning items, a washer and dryer and air conditioners in the bedrooms. All you need to make it home is your personal belongings! You will enjoy a garage with an electric garage door opener, your own washer and dryer, small back patio area with a stone patio, barbecue, table, chairs and umbrella. A nice flat-screen tv with Dish or Wifi TV and High speed Wifi are included!
This is a non-smoking property. No pets (no exceptions so please do not ask) No subletting or overnight guests unless approved by owner. Thank you

Wonderful place to visit in Napa

A great cottage with easy access to downtown Napa. The Sweeney ' s were wonderful hosts. A very neat and clean cottage. Very private and quiet.

Great time in a very nice home

My wife and I had a weekend get away to Napa and we stayed in Miss Mary's beautiful home! She was a great hosts very informative about her home and very welcoming! She provided everything we needed during our stay! I would definitely visit again!!!!

Very peaceful, our own private oasis!

Gorgeous property in the heart of Napa. Very welcoming and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this property, very private and we felt as though we had the whole property to ourselves the whole weekend. We will definitely be back to this little hidden gem.

Wonderful cottage

What a great cottage. We stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute of it. Mary and Dennis were so gracious and gave us wonderful ideas for places to go and easier ways to get there. We were able to walk to downtown Napa and drive to many wineries. Cottage was well supplied and very clean. Thanks for a delightful stay.

We stayed for two nights and we were very happy. Great location to downtown (we rode the tandom bikes.....thanks Mary) Dennis & Mary have a charming home, loved the Lavendar Garden.... Inspired me to plant my own @ home. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

LOVE this place! Chic boutique!

This place is amazing! I went for a girls getaway and we both absolutely adored this place. We got a free upgrade to the larger cottage, which I definitely suggest. Interior is updated and decor is beautiful! Coolest bathroom! We thought we'd spend all of our time away, but we were so relaxed at Mary's that we spent a half day at the pool and firepit and brought dinner back to watch movies in the comfy living room. I suggested this place to my parents and I would definitely stay here again!

Great find!

We live in the Bay Area and needed a place to stay in Napa after dinner out with friends. Mary's upstairs apartment was a great find. The room, with separate entrance, was perfectly comfortable and included all the amenities you'd find in a higher end hotel. The location was ideal for visiting downtown Napa as well as the surrounding area. We didn't have the chance to enjoy the backyard swimming pool and fire pit but will look forward to doing so on our next visit.

Napa Fun!

We enjoyed our stay in the Wine and Roses Suite. The owners were very cordial. I had never rented a "room" before in someone's house. It is a little unsettling walking in and out of someone's living room at times to access the room (there is a separate entrance which is great for most of the time if you can handle steep and winding stairs, but not for arriving and departing with luggage). That being said, the room was well appointed and had everything we needed for a two night stay. We were a little disappointed we could not access the room a little earlier than the regular check in time but that is the way it was. Downtown Napa is about a half mile walk through nice neighborhoods. If you are primarily going to be in your room for sleeping and not a lot of extra activity that you might do at a hotel, then this place was perfectly fine for that.

The stay was very nice.

Although we had a very busy agenda and had very little time to enjoy the property, the amenities were exactly as advertised. Thanks Mary for a delightful stay. :)

Excellent location, great host!

Mary is a great host and the property has everything you need. Microwave; mini fridge; Kuerig with coffee, tea and hot chocolate; picnic supplies; two balconies - one overlooks the pool and has two chairs, one by the spiral stairs and has a table and two chairs; fire pit....you get the point. It has it all! Location can't be beat. About 1.2 miles to downtown so an easy walk or take one of the tandem bicycles. Street parking was never a problem. Mary is awww-some! Helpful with all kinds of info about where to go for any meal of the day, directions to the farmers market (only operational in some months). She's now a friend, or even family. Pre-arrival info was extensive and clear and Mary was very responsive to messaged questioned. We stayed here for our anniversary trip and have absolutely no complaints. We would readily book this again! Thanks for everything, Mary!

Great stay in Napa!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights and wish we stayed longer. Mary made us feel right at home from the moment that we walked in and provided great recommendations in downtown Napa. She even left us fresh muffins for breakfast in the morning and offered for us to come back and use the pool after we had already checked out. Jackie (their Jack Russell) was a fun addition to our stay as well! Being able to start the day with a dip in the pool and end the night with a glass of wine by the fireplace was a nice treat also. We will have to come back and visit so that we can use the tandem bikes. :)

Great location and very nice hosts

Mary (and Dennis) were gracious hosts. The location is great for a trip to Napa--easy to walk to downtown (or ride the bikes they provide) and close to wineries and great food. Mary is constantly growing/fixing up the place which is also part of the treat--what is nice now is even nicer the next time. The pool is wonderful--don't make the mistake we did and not bring a bathing suit! The pool area is quiet and a great place to relax. We will definitely stay there again.

Great time in Napa!

Casual experience, easy-going hosts, had an overall nice stay. Note that the spiral staircase is not for the faint of heart! They are quite truthful when they they say not for kids or mobility impaired, but the place was terrific if that works for you. Clean, well kept, and casual, Mary and Dennis had everything we needed: coffee, mini-fridge, coat rack, comfortable bed to sleep in! This is probably a better place for confident, independent travelers or guests who are pretty familiar with the area, so if you are in that category, go for it! (Just don't book for the same times I want to go back ;) Thanks Dennis, catch you next time Mary!

Very nice and accommodating hosts, beautiful place great location

My husband and I stayed a couple nights mid February and we had such a fun time. Mary and her husband had great recommendations for restaurants and wineries they were very easy to talk to and made us feel welcomed the second we walked in. We loved the balconies, backyard sitting area and the tandem bike was a blast! Comfortable bed and bedding which is so needed after a day of exploring. Would recommend to a friend! Salina and Brad

Romantic hideaway

Close to everything. Quiet and non-intrusive accommodations in a cool downtown house. It used to be the Napa Pump House but now it looks like a wonderful gated Spanish villa. Upstairs corner room with private staircase. Thanks Mary, we hope to be back soon!

Love the curb appeal, the bike, and the location

awesome, nice little balconies on the room. great location-safe. mary was very welcoming and I am looking forward to returning to see her finished wine cellar. all accommodations we needed. A few tv trays would be helpful as we had snacks at night in room. we had a great retreat.

Room rental in home in Napa

I thought the homeowners were delightful and very pleasant. I probably didn't do my homework well enough to realize that we were renting a single room out of someone elses' home. While the refrigerator didn't work at first and we couldn't get any TV to work, we decided to rent a DVD and finally figured it out. The homeowner fixed the refrigerator and it worked fine. The bed was very comfortable and the shower area was beautiful and looked new. The difference in price from this VRBO and staying at the Meritage however was only a $40 /day difference, and although they were wonderful, I'd have preferred to stay at the Meritage Resort in Napa.

Nice clean bedroom and bathroom. The private entrance was very nice. We really wanted to use the complimentary bikes, but sadly it was a rainy day in Napa!

nice birthday getaway

We love coming to Napa and have been trying different places to stay. Positives: Mary, the owner, was very engaging and nice. She came to greet us and showed us all of the amenities that we could use. The room itself it a very nice size. Bed is very comfortable, wifi worked extremely well. Bathroom is nicely done, shower only. Kurig for the coffee/tea/coco fix was there. Nice fridge for leftovers/treats. The balconies were nice to sit on and enjoy the sun. We didn't use the pool or the fire pit but if you like to swim or hang out it would be nice. Their dog was very friendly and didn't bark too much which was nice. Mary seems to be the type of person that will give whatever privacy you need. Is not intrusive but available when you need things. Very Close to downtown, walking distance, cozy neighborhood. The only minus is that, while there is a private entrance, it is clear you are staying in a room of someone's house. We do not mind that feeling but if Mary or her husband woke up int he middle of the night we could hear it. We got back to sleep easily but sound and light through the door is clear. But despite that we would absolutely rent again!!!!

You will feel welcome

It was nice to have a separate entrance and a balcony. Mary is very nice and has suggestions to help you. Everything was very clean and the bed comfortable. It was nice to take a dip in the pool after being out all day!

Perfect Napa Location

The owners were very welcoming and extremely helpful. The location was convenient to downtown Napa, which made our frequent trips there very easy. The property itself was nicely maintained and super comfortable. We slept like 2 rocks. Be sure to ask the owner for their restaurant and winery suggestions. Each one we visited was outstanding. Also, they recommended using the Vallejo (a short drive from Napa) ferry to San Francisco which saved us a lot of drive time and parking hassles. Overall, this was an ideal property and we highly recommend it.

nice property

Mary and Dennis have a beautiful property in the heart of Napa. Its easy place to come and go from, whether your are wine tasting or want to go downtown to enjoy some of the great restaurants in Napa. Its was nice to be able to open doors at both ends of the room to let the breeze blow through at night. Definitely will stay there again!
