Atlantis on Amelia Oceanfront Condo with Private First Floor Patio

Enjoy one of the deepest, quietest and most beautiful stretches of beach on Amelia Island while staying at this beachfront/oceanfront, first floor condominium in historic Fernandina Beach. This condo has amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean and works equally well for a family vacation or for up to four adults looking for a relaxing getaway.

We offer a casual, peaceful and private environment for our guests, including a fully equipped kitchen, a washer/dryer and a private covered patio overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Recent updates include new mattresses in June 2024 and updated flooring and trim in 2023.

Atlantis on Amelia is a 24-unit complex with a heated pool (typically open Feb through October) as well as a patio overlooking the ocean and a boardwalk to the beach. Please note that you will only have ONE assigned parking space and should not expect to be able to park a second vehicle at Atlantis.

Located minutes from historic downtown Fernandina, you will enjoy unique shops and art galleries as well as a wide array of dining choices. There are also many recreational options in the area including golf courses and bike paths. We have owned our little bit of Paradise for over twenty-four years and look forward to sharing it with you.

The condo was older than we expected and there was a bit of a smell that would be fine if we were allowed to open the sliding doors.The patio was filthy on arrival but we had the supplies to deep clean it. Also the outdoor cushions are stained and weathered and should be replaced.Ellen the owner was super accommodating and kind however the property manager who lives onsite was extremely rude and aggressive. We had a family visit one day and they parked on the visitors spot but didn’t have a guest pass and then one of the kids hang her towel over the railing during dinner and they left us a very aggressive note, called the owner and threatened us.To make matters worse, the only reason why we chose this property over the other side that we typically stay at, was the advertised and confirmed “heated pool”.Pool was most definitely not heated even after I double checked with the property manager and was told it would be heated at that time of the year.The views and access to the beach are amazing and made the stay wonderful but you definitely feel constantly watched and stalked by the property manager. We opened the sliding doors because of the smell inside to air it out and got another letter to close the doors.

We looked long and hard for just the right beach condo and this was it! We found it! We wanted first floor because we like to be able to come and go easily from the beach (lunch, breaks, etc.). And we wanted a beautiful view and not all first floor units have great views. This one does so you can sit on the patio and enjoy the beautiful beach view and listen to the waves (in shade). The condo was just minutes away from everything we wanted to do: we kayaked to Cumberland Island; rode on Jet Skis, toured Fort Clinch and visited downtown Ferdinando Beach for restaurants and ice cream. There's also a Harris Teeter about 7 minutes away so you can stock up. We like to eat breakfast and lunch at the condo and go out to seafood for dinner (nearby recommendations: Sliders, Sandbar, Salt Life, Timoti's Seafood Shack, Salty Pelican). The condo was super clean and our family of four had plenty of room. The condo building is not a big condo so the beach in front of it was not crowded at all. When you spend a long time searching beach condo listings for one that checks all your boxes, you hope that you end up making the right choice and this one definitely delivers! We will return!

The property was beautiful. We loved parking our car right in front of the door and walking into our condo. That was so nice!It was just as listed and photo'd. The kitchen was well stocked and the footprint was large. The furniture in the living room was very comfortable. The Master bedroom bed was too firm for my husband and I, but we like softer beds. My favorite part of the condo was the porch and furniture. It looked out to the ocean and had the BEST views with the ocean breeze and sound, and it was so comfortable to sit and relax. Beach chairs, a wagon and boogie boards were provided. It was great! You literally loaded up the wagon, walked through the grass to the boardwalk which was just steps from the condo and there was the beach. We just rented an umbrella for our beach days and we were set. Two of the chairs were full fold out lounging chairs which I loved. I hope these amenities stay with the condo. as they were really nice. Our time here was 6 days and we enjoyed every moment. The beach was beautiful and Amelia Island is a true gem.

Extremely convenient access to the beach. Kitchen was nice and well appointed. Condo was nicely furnished as well. Sand and beach toys being included was also very nice as we actually forgot them at home. Owner was available if we had any issues - but we had none. Would stay at this condo again.

Awesome spot

The wife and I had a nice relaxing time. Great views from the master bedroom and living room. Right on the beach so you only have to walk about 100 yards and set up your chairs. Very quiet and close to all of the best places to eat without having to deal with the traffic.

Quiet Beauty

One of the best trips I’ve ever taken! This trip met every expectation I had. The host, Ellen is the best IVe had on VRBO. The condo is beautiful and soooo well stocked. The view from the porch is spectacular. The beach is just a few short steps down the boardwalk. Step out the French doors to a covered porch and enjoy coffee and gorgeous sunrises. The planes and beach flags were a lot of fun. Downtown outdoor music at The Boathouse was great. The wildlife excursion to see the Wildhorses at Cumberland Island was well worth it!,, Best girls trip! Thank you Amelia Island. You fulfilled my island dreams!

Lovely Getaway

The condo was top notch, super clean and had all the necessities. The view was of the ocean is beautiful and the beach was just a very short walk, 2 minutes straight from the porch to the sand. Quiet beach with the boardwalk just a short walk away. Highly recommend this condo.

Wonderful condo!

My sister and I stayed here for our annual trip together. We were incredibly pleased with the condo. It was very clean, quiet, and comfortable and nicely furnished, even with beach chairs, toys and towels. The view from the patio was exceptional. We watched the sun rise over the ocean each morning. While we didn’t cook during our stay, the kitchen was the best equipped I’d ever seen in a rental. The first evening we walked to The Surf restaurant and had a great shrimp dinner. Ellen was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Amelia Island.

A perfect seaside holiday!

We loved being able to soak up the sun and walk the beach with pleasure. We can entertain ourselves in a natural environment. Lots of trails to bike or walk. Old world feel to the place.

Wake up to the sunrise

This lovely 2BR condo is right on the beach. From either the LR or MB the sunrise will be your alarm clock. What a delight ! The kitchen is well stocked and the owner, Ellen, is always available.

A Great Decision

If you’re reading this review and wondering what to look for to decide, then you’re going through what we faced before we selected Atlantis on Amelia, 104. We were fortunate to make a good guess--helped by a believable listing.From the beginning of our 4-week stay everything felt right. Opened the door and it was clear that all the necessaries for getting settled were in place. Comfortable beds, what was needed in the kitchen, fully functional TV, nice furnishings. The view was spectacular, the deck was a welcoming first outdoor spot, and the walk to the beach easy. Ahh, the Beach!The location is a midpoint for using and enjoying the delightful place called Amelia Island. With its ease of access, convenient shopping, and delightful “Downtown” that offers wonderful options of things to eat and see, the Island is a great place to be.This endorsement comes, in part, from previous communication problems with VRBO. Because this time, the property owner was easy to get to and she addressed, and solved, each small issue we asked about immediately.If possible, we would make a second visit!

Great view

We loved our time here! The view from the living room & master bedroom can’t be beat. The property was clean & master bed very comfortable. Ellen checked in with us to make sure everything was as expected. Kitchen is the most well stocked we’ve seen in a VRBO property. Can’t wait to come back.

Amazing

We had the best time here. The condo was amazing. It had everything you could need on a vacation. I didn’t need to bring everything I brought it was already there. Ellen was so easy to talk to and gave us our information before we left Michigan. I love that, I am a planner and need all my ducks in a row before we leave. Can’t wait to stay here again next year.

Recent Visit To Amelia Island in August

We enjoyed staying in this condo on Amelia Island. It is in a very convenient location and very nicely furnished. We especially enjoyed being on the ground level with parking just outside the back door and the lawn just a step away from the nice patio. It was supplied with everything we needed for our stay. We would be happy to stay here again on a future trip. The communication with the owner was excellent and she was anxious to make sure we enjoyed our visit and use of the condo.

Labor Day getaway!

Had a great time at this property. Location was perfect. Beach was footsteps from the back door. Kitchen was large. Everything was updated and clean. Really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!!

Relaxing and Peaceful! Amazing views!

This place was fantastic! Amazing view, easy access to the beach, quiet place, close to historic downtown, restaurants, and stores (Publix, Walmart, Harry’s Teeter) and had everything we needed for our stay. It was our first time visiting Amelia island. This condo was perfect to stay with our two little kids (2 & 4 year old). They had space to play and toys, books, and games provided by Ellen which was a plus when coming out of state. She also provided all the beach gear you need (umbrella, chairs, wagons, beach toys, towels) which made it a bliss. You are steps away from the beach so we did go for walks most days. We also use the heated pool which was great on the days it wasn't as safe to go into the beach. Ellen checked in on us and was always responsive to communication. And you can’t beat the beautiful ocean views and sound of the waves. It was a very relaxing stay and we hope to be back and stay in Ellen’s place.

Perfect vacation spot

We had such a wonderful visit at Ellen’s condo! It is perfectly quiet, clean, comfortable, and the ease of location and proximity to the beach can’t be beat. It really is a perfect spot for little ones too. We loved spending our mornings on the beach, and the afternoons at the pool. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer!
