Our party of 9 stayed in this property. With the ample space inside and out, we really enjoyed it. It was unforgettable to turn off all the light at night and look up at the night sky to see the stars............

Spacious cabin excellent for large groups

The cabin is ideal for large groups with plenty of space to spread out. It is located in a nice setting among trees. The large family room is great for sitting by the fire and watching movies.

Great for large groups

Plenty of room for large group to stay and hang out. Only issue is parking availability. Room for 5 or 6 cars in the driveway.

Family gathering

Very spacious, clean, adequate over all. The place does need some TLC but served our needs as a big group. A couple safety issues need to be addressed which were reported to property manager but was a nice getaway.

Nice group gathering place

Nice place up a step hil, probably built in the 70sl. Lots of bathrooms and beds. Space was great for gathering inside and out. About 50m to Yosemite valley so not the best if going every day but doable.

Excellent stay

We had a family reunion with 12 people, and everyone enjoyed the stay. There's plenty of room for everyone, and the service was great! The staff at Redwoods is top notch. The only complaint: master BR has an odor due to the old carpet. Otherwise, the house is charming. The amenities are top notch.

nice place. lots of room. It was very hot in Yosemite that week. Sure could have used some air conditioning.

Family 2024

The accommodation for sleeping worked out fine for our size family and the warm weather made the river very inviting. The house could use some upgrades on furniture and kitchen appliances and the decor is old and worn out.

Perfect for large groups

We had six families stay in the five rooms - which seems like a lot, but we utilized the bunks and everyone was very close. There was plenty of room to socialize and even places to go if you didn't want to be with the crowds. This place has a lot of kitchen amenities and a fantastic grill, which was helpful for us to prepare huge meals. Maintenance was very responsive when we had issues, and everyone in the office was incredibly friendly. The Redwoods is a beautiful area inside Yosemite Park, with trailheads not too far away from the cabin itself.

Yosemite Bliss

The home is spacious and clean. The beds were quite comfortable and the property manager was exceptional. When we arrived on the first night of our stay with steaks ready to grill, we were unable to get the gas grill going. Within 15 minutes he brought us a replacement. Our dinner plans were saved. We appreciated his friendly demeanor and quick response. Thank you!

Great Location

Beautiful location. Staff professional and polite and great to work with. Sadly, spiders and mice were out of control. I understand we are staying in the wilderness and critters are hard to control, but when mice are running through the kichen while you are cooking is sad. We caught 6 mice over 5 nights. Brown spiders in cabinets, bookshelves, beds, etc.... We have stayed at Yosemite Lodge and other cabins in Mariposa and Wawona and never had this kind of problem. Let me reinforce, property managment staff were very professional and apologized for thr problem but could only give us traps to catch the little critters.

In order to try to combat this as much as possible, we have a pest control company come out every two weeks. We apologize that we could not do more than offer traps. Despite the heat wave being experienced in Yosemite, we had a great time at the home. The evenings were cool outside, so we were able to sleep well with the windows open. Before we left in the morning for adventures in the park, we closed the windows to trap the cool air in the house. That methodology seemed to work well. We did most of our cooking on the outside gas grill. Being an STR owner myself, I can recommend the Yosemity Mountain Lodge for those considering. And it was in Wanona and inside the park. It was a bit of a drive into the valley and Tioga Rd, but it is better than sleeping in a glamping tent or staying in a park lodge with no ability to cook for our large family.

Cabin facilities

Excellent cabin with 5 bedrooms. But there are only 4 bathrooms. Kitchen is well maintained, nice and clean. Wifi is available and working good.

Amazing cabin for intimate celebration with family and friends

The cabin was perfect for our marriage celebration. We were able to be with family and close friends in one spot which allowed everyone to feel comfortable, at home, and relaxed. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed and more. It was nice to find large fans in each bedroom as summers can get warm, this allowed us to sleep comfortably. The location is inside the park entrance which made daily adventures into the Valley easy since we didn’t have to worry about waiting in the entrance line!

Brother and Sister Family Trip

This cabin was a perfect fit for our family, we take annual trips with my two brothers and my sister with their families, there was a total of 19 of us. We had plenty of space, kids enjoyed the games the cabin offered. I even got to bake homemade cookies because the cabin had all the cookware needed and available. It was a beautiful cabin and would definitely go back. Thank you Cabin 99 for treating us so well.
