Guests enjoy eclectic Southwest / French Country charm, tasteful furnishings and 4 king bedrooms. For flexible sleeping arrangements, the den bedroom King bed can be converted to 2 twins. Be sure to notify caretaker long before arrival should your group require twins.

A recently remodeled country kitchen with granite counters and custom crafted knotty alder solid wood cabinets, Wolf commercial oven/range delight both the novice cook and the gourmet chef.

Radiant heated floors add to the quiet comfort and ambiance of this spacious, light and bright home. 4 bedroom and 4 bathroom sleeping 10 guests (or 12 to 14 guests with special arrangements including the cabin / casita / studio guest house).

Amenities include a well-equipped gourmet kitchen with Wolf oven / range, 3 Direct Satellite TV's (with 31 continuous play music channels and many free movie channels), washer and dryer. The professionally landscaped yard offers privacy, a lovely babbling brook (acequia irrigation stream). A jumbo covered deck 14 ft. x 52 ft., overlooking the acequia stream extends living space in a very private back yard. A gas grill, hammock and hot tub add to outdoor pleasures along with gorgeous mountain views and stream.

The luxury master suite with his & hers separate bathrooms + a massage room and jacuzzi tub for two makes Casa Bella a Honeymoon favorite.

Also, rare and unique to Taos, Casa Bella comes equipped with an efficient and central evaporative cooling system that functions in desert climates only. Those who have never experienced "swamp cooling" as a form of air-conditioning are in for a treat.

King (memory foam) master #1 with 2 bathrooms - one for him (with walk in shower) and one luxury bathroom for her (with huge walk in double shower + separate large jacuzzi tub for 2) makes Casa Bella a favorite for Honeymooners & Anniversaries. Included is a flat screen satellite TV and a Queen sleeper sofa and panoramic mountain views.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The sink plumbing in one of the bathrooms did not work (no water coming out of the faucet). The master shower had little pressure. Spoke with Management Company in advance due to previous reviews and they denied there was any water problems. Although an inconvenience, we managed to make it work. This is the risk you take with VRBO.

Family Trip in June 2026

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is in a nice neighborhood outside of Taos aand the ammenities available were nice, including the community pool and the private hot tub. We were concerned about the "swamp cooler" air conditioning, but it kept the home comfortable during the day and very cool at night. The rental property accommodated our family's needs and was well stocked and was clean. Renters should pay attention to the layout of bedrooms and bathrooms as the Master Bedroom does have two of the bathrooms with showers.We were unable to get the television in the living room to connect to the internet. In fact, upon arrival, we had to request assistance in connecting to the internet as the information provided in the e-mail we received and in the book at the house was incorrect. Apparently, the network name and password had recently changed and had not been updated. Throughout the stay, there were multipe power outages which required resetting the router. The only reliable place to access the internet was in the bedroom with the router and even there, the access was not consistent enough to work remotely on every day of the stay.Multiple times througout the stay we did not have water. There were 2-3 times duriing each day that water stopped flowing, including around 10:00 pm each night. After 15-30 minutes, water would resume flowing.

Amazing Experience!

This property was stunning with a great view of the mountains and a lot of lush trees that blocked the view of other houses and the beautiful acacia running right through the back yard. The overall impression given by the property was an isolated mountainside house. The inside was beautifully decorated and comfortable and the neighbors were incredibly kind and talkative. Any problems were quickly and effectively addressed by the property manager which made our stay even more pleasant.

Light in laundry area seems to work intermittently and may have a short. Turned it on, didn't work, but at 2am came on. Front door needs to be replaced and would be easy to break into, but does work.

Needs some updates and refreshing, but overall a good rental. Kitchen is great - except for the fridge which has no ice maker and broken ice maker drawer - had to buy ice for the whole stay. Swamp cooler works well, but one bedroom has no way to vent to outside during our stay - which is necessary for a swamp cooler to be effective in that room. Gas grill needs a upgrade. Hot tub was great! Beds were very comfortable. Patio very comfortable. Overall a great house potential that is very good but needs some attention from the owner to bring it up to great.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Casa Bella for our family’s annual spring ski trip and it was a nice stay. The house has pretty much everything we needed and gorgeous views. One bedroom was even off on the opposite side of the house which was nice for separation for our extended family. One of the bedrooms was extremely hot throughout the entire stay. We were told that this room just stays hot and that there wasn’t much we could do. The guests in that room ended up having to sleep in the living room to get relief and rest. The hot tub also doesn’t get incredibly hot which could have been nice after a day of skiing. Otherwise, the house was nice and comfortable.

Beautiful property in need of a few updates

The house is really lovely. The amount of space for our family of 9 was exactly what we needed. Everyone had their own bedroom with a kitchen, dining and living space that met all of our needs. On the not so great side; the house was not as clean as I had hoped. So much dog and cat hair were missed. We have major cat allergies so asthma was an issue during our stay. The gourmet kitchen needed an upgrade to their dishwasher which would not rinse soap from the dishes. The pots were great but the pans needed replacing. The hot tub cover needed fixing but the tub itself was great, especially in the winter weather. The house has a new caretaker and I was assured it would be getting a deep cleaning and all of repairs would be fixed. The property is beautiful, in a qreat location. I would rent again as long as I knew the deep clean was done.

Taos in July

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Casa Bella is a lovely home and the outdoor patio and stream were very surreal. We really enjoyed the outdoor space. The mattresses in all rooms were very comfortable as well. Unfortunately, the home was not as clean as we would have expected it to be, and the upkeep was very disappointing at best. My daughter took a shower in the master bedroom located by the washer and dryer. The floor of shower was slimy and slippery, and it had dead bugs. The shower was also plugged and would not drain. We called the caretaker who came with tools at 10:00 p.m. My husband offered to assist in taking the drain apart and successfully cleaned it out. The shower door was dirty with soap scum from top to bottom and the bathroom walls were very dirty. This master bedroom was full of bugs and had very small mosquito-like insects on the bed and pillows. The mattress was stained, and the carpet had big red spots all over it. The headboard had spiderwebs and there were dead spiders in the closet. The shower closest to the entry door in the other master bedroom did not have hot water. A couple of our guests had to take a cold shower. The mirrors were dirty and not all the showers worked and also were slow to drain. The door leading to the covered patio from the master bedroom has a shattered glass panel and we were very hesitant to use it. Also, the doorknob pulled off when we tried to open it (my husband was able to fix that as well). The skillets should be thrown away as they are extremely bad. Most of the pots and pans, dishes and silverware where dirty, so everything we used had to be washed by hand. The towels had a very bad smell, and there weren't enough towels especially for those who went swimming. The blind covering the large picture window facing the patio and stream was broken. Of course we were not expecting perfection, but for the amount of money that we paid to stay at Casa Bella, the home should have been clean and in much

The Good, the bad and the ugly

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: All in all the property worked for our family. We liked the size, the architecture and the location. Two family members enjoyed the hot tub. The decor would have been very attractive when the home was built, but it was a bit tired now. The bathroom situation was a negative. Yes, the house had 4 bathrooms, but 2 of the bathrooms were in the master bedroom (weird!) and the shared bathroom had only a tub, not a shower. That meant that family in 2 bedrooms had to share a shower with the master bedroom. The water is from a well and we found that when the outside was being watered we had no water in the house. At least, we guessed that was why we had no water several afternoons. The toilets are on a septic system and we hadn't been advised of that beforehand and one of the toilets clogged up because of the toilet paper. There were no explicit instructions on how to use the TVs. It would have been helpful to have detailed instructions. The home was dog friendly, which we appreciated but it would have been helpful to have a fenced in area for them. The house manager was always helpful and any problems were quickly resolved.

It has a beautiful backyard with an irrigation stream, that when running, is amazing and spa-like. The property itself is interesting - many great things: huge kitchen, Wolff stove, big dining table, living room with huge windows, mountain views, very private and super clean. The master bedrooms are ok - old and dated bathrooms, but with character. Overall, the home has tons of character, fits a big family perfectly and is super private and quiet. And, probably 90% better than most homes in Taos, as it is an old, dated ski town. The management company is TERRIFIC and the home is impeccably clean! I would recommend this property next time you are in Taos!

First time in Taos, and specifically Arroyo Seco

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time in the Taos area. Let's start with the exterior of the property. It is private, peaceful and relaxing. The covered porch during rain is amazing! The creek in the back has a wonderful little waterfall. Lush and green. The hottub is an added bonus. Star gazers would love it here! We spent most of our time in the backyard. The interior needs to be updated. The shower heads need to be replaced, the dishwasher needs to be replaced, and it does need a full deep clean, meaning all carpets, rugs and couches. I would also recommend with someone who has fear of spiders- beware - There are lots of them. Home defense products work great for that. Kitchen is wonderful for home cooking! Expansive TV for those who love movies! (Which we watched a couple). The Beds are comfortable! I loved the layout of the home. Overall the caretaker is awesome, helpful and responsive! The management company is very professional. It is perfectly located! Everybody is very friendly. Short drive to pretty much anywhere.

It’s located on the way up to Taos ski resort but also very close to restaurants. The kitchen is fully stocked and so much room to cook whatever you want. The rooms are very large and the master bathroom is pretty spectacular. The place is perfect for a large group, mountain getaway!

Beautiful views, nice layout

Casa Bella is a lovely spot. Our family of 5, avid skiers, enjoyed our location right around the corner from charming Arroyo Seco, easy drive to Taos Ski Valley and easy drive to Taos. Our property manager was terrific and the house is comfortable and well laid out. Thank you!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great house in quiet, beautiful location. The property is mostly well maintained. A few little problems came up, but caretaker was very responsive. This area is near very good hiking and good small restaurants. A short drive away from Taos.
