Villa Madonna di Costantinopoli is a splendid and luminous three-story historical villa located on a hillside, facing the sea. It sleeps eight people. The Villa is about 500 square meters, and has a private swimming pool, wooden sauna, spacious private terraces with sea view, a private garden, air conditioning, heating, ice machine, Internet WI-FI, cell phone charging station, parking private, wood oven, outdoor shower.


Villa Madonna di Costantinopoli exudes charm and gives amazement, it is a luxurious historical residence completely overlooking the sea and the surprising wonders that form the backdrop to the small village of Praiano, the heart of the Amalfi Coast.
Located among lemons, olive trees immersed in the Mediterranean scrub, the Villa has a spectacular view suspended between sky and sea and overlooks a wonderful town, Praiano, in front of one of the most beautiful panoramas in the world: the Isle of Capri, the Faraglioni, the Sorrento Peninsula, Positano, and the Li Galli Archipelago (formerly owned by Nureiev as well as Sirene Island in the Odyssey of Ulysses).

This prestigious villa has a fascinating history dating back many centuries and some traces of which can still be found today in authentic furnishing and architectural details preserved inside the villa.

Praiano is a splendid small town on the Amalfi coast that boasts the privilege of being positioned in a unique corner for the incomparable views of the coast and the sea, from the Villa it is possible to watch some of the most suggestive sunsets in the world.
The door that gives access to the magnificent property of about 500 square meters surrounded by terraces and gardens, immediately lets you perceive the vibrant sensation of being completely stretched out on the sea.

The house is all in whitewash, wrought iron, wood and stone, restored on ancient walls of fascinating Arab architecture, nothing is left to chance. The rooms and rooms all finely furnished with period furniture.

From the suggestive private swimming pool set in the sea rock, you can enjoy the magnificent sunsets of Praiano.

The Villa has a cellar with over 100 labels of the best Italian and French wines with the possibility of buying and tasting.

This place is absolutely spectacular! The service from Gianluigi is second to none. We were treated like we were staying at a 5 star hotel.
It is one of thw very few places in Praiano with a swimming pool

Beautiful and peaceful

We had a wonderful stay! It felt like being in a museum in time. Loved our experience and will come back. If you don't have transportation prep for steps :) down to the village.

The villa is exactly as described. Its an authentic villa built into the mountain with amazing views from every part . It has many outdoor spaces , gardens seating. The interior is uniquely decorated with many antiques. The host was very attentive to all out needs. We definitely recommend

Amazing place - 5 stars all day long

My wife and I stayed here for a week in June and can't say enough about how wonderful this place is. Villa is expansive, and the outdoor seating and pool are absolutely gorgeous. When we come back to the Amalfi Coast we will 100% stay in this exact same villa. Great location and top notch responsive and friendly host. Perfecto!!!!

The location is at a top of a hill, quiet, amazing view, the villa is luxurious, huge, full of amenities you need, kids enjoyed spending time inside than outside, accessible to all adjacent activities, Luigi is amzaing. definitly I recommed to everyone.

Adult vacation

Perfect for three couples has everything you could ask for and then some. The property manager was super helpful and did anything you would ask. I highly recommend having him bring in his private chef for the day and possibly if you’re interested they have a massage room with a girl that comes in also and she was great staying in the area I think you need to either have a small car or rent the scooters this is a must to get around.

Fabulous in every way!

Stunning home and views in the more quiet town of Praiano, convenient to but away from the chaos of Amalfi and Positano. The beautiful pool and outdoor areas made for hours of enjoyable time at home after a day of exploring. Generously stocked with all your kitchen needs, towels, toiletries, detergents, etc.Exceptional host who is very helpful should you have questions or need something like a car service. Short, easy walk to wonderful dining and a mini market. The center of town is a bit further, but walkable (it does involve many steps). Marina di Praia is a short drive away (not walkable, but a short ride). Very highly recommmend!!

Birthdays spent in Paradise

Our family of 5 spent 3 magical nights at Villa Madonna. The pictures do not do it just. We all had difficulty capturing its beauty and essence in our photos. Gianluigi was a very welcoming and hospitable host. He greeted us when we arrived with a beautiful fruit platter and charcuterie plate. He organized chef Baldesarra at our request to prepare us breakfast each morning and a delicious birthday dinner one evening. There were so many terraces we didn’t even use them all and the views from each one were spectacular. Location is great with very nice restaurants within walking distance. We would definitely love to return to Villa Madonna and highly recommend it to everyone we know. Grazie Mille, hope to see you again soon!!

Our family of 7 had an unforgettable trip and this house is truly unforgettable. The location is great, close to the local bus stop but also easy enough to walk (down many steps!) to town. Praiano is perfect location, and easy enough to get to positano, amalfi, etc. just give yourself time to catch the buses (or plan to pay a lot for a taxi!) We enjoyed the pool area and the patio under the lemon tree each day - swimming, reading, having wine and snacks, playin cards. We ate breakfast and had coffee each morning on the terrace off the kitchen. The flowers and plants and tiles and decor on the property- simply amazing. Our host, GianLuigi was awesome - house welcomed us with wine, cheese and salami, fresh fruit, and some basics from the market. He has poured his hearts into every detail. The hardest part was deciding where to sit because there were so many perfect spots! The outdoor SHOWER!! We showered here day and night, never once in the house. The outdoor kitchen/dining space, built into the cliff side. Rooms were beautiful and bed’s comfortable. Great closet space for settling in. Sauna, Soaking tub, fresh linens, toiletries provided. We did a cooking class, another highlight - Worth every penny! Our chef was a fun and engaging, we loved using our amazing kitchen and dining space. Perfect setting for the class. Gianluigi arranged for transportation when needed, made great restaurant recommendations, was a perfect host. Thank you thank you for the trip of a lifetime!

Simply amazing vacation and the villa was a big part of the experience. We stayed for eleven nights at the villa in July. Stunning views and a great location that allowed us to explore the coast by land and water. Close enough to visit the major highlights and Guinluigi was the perfect host - arranging cars, a pizza chef to the Villa, recommendations for dinner, a private boat for an afternoon on the water and so much more!! The villa is stunning and large and easily accommodated our family of six with a baby. The pool and the multiple patios were the perfect spot to relax after our days exploring. The gardens were beautiful and the outdoor eating spots were really special including an outside kitchen - that we used multiple times during our stay . The views were spectacular and the location was close enough to walk to the marina, beaches and restaurants- albeit the steps are a workout! One of the highlights was the proximity to the path of the gods - a must do while visiting Amalfi. Thank you Guinluigi for making our vacation an exceptional and unforgettable experience for our family. Diana

Amazing property!

The views from this unique property are truly breathtaking! Gianluigi was a gracious host, ensuring that our group was well taken care of from arrival to departure. He coordinated a private chef to prepare a delicious multi course meal to celebrate a birthday. The kitchen was stocked with a lovely basket of snacks, fruit, coffee and beverages. The location is perfect, situated between Amalfi and Positano. Highly recommend for your Amalfi coast holiday.

Great stay in Praiano villa

This is a beautiful villa in a wonderful location in Praiano, perfect for exploring the Amalfi coast. If you want a generously scaled villa with beautiful outdoor spaces, and you’re happy to be (not in Positano), but very close by, this is a great spot. Luigi was a wonderful and attentive host. I highly recommend.

Spectacular

The property is spectacular. Great views. Lovely pool. The entire property is full of art and antiques collected over many years, all curated to create an authentic experience. The town is close to all the excitement without being overrun by the day trippers. The owner could not be more thoughtful and attentive.

Family Birthday Celebration

Villa Madonna di Constantinopoli was beyond beautiful and prefect for our family! We celebrated my Son’s 40th birthday! Gianluigi was incredibly helpful with arranging the private chef for our birthday dinner. He also arranged all our taxi transfers around the Amalfi Coast. The Villa is decorated beautifully and very clean! Our stay was relaxing with the many gardens and refreshing pool all with exceptional views of the Amalfi Coast and Positano. We definitely will return for another outstanding vacation at Madonna di Constantinopoli. Gianluigi is an excellent host and Praiano is a place you shouldn’t miss! Thank you again it was a trip of a lifetime!

Absolutely amazing!

This is such an amazing villa down to every last detail. Gianluigi greeted us upon arrival and was at our disposal the entire week. He gave recommendations and arranged transportation for us numerous times. He also set up a pizza chef to come and cook pizzas with us in the outdoor pizza oven! He is such an accommodating host and so friendly! The home is breathtaking and has every amenity you need. We noticed new details every single day and were amazed at how it was so elegant and yet inviting. There are numerous areas to gather and hang out, both inside and outside. We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to return. Gianluigi made this a true vacation and we are so grateful to him!

Fall in Love with Praiano

We absolutely enjoyed our time at Villa Madonna! We have been waiting two years to visit the Amalfi Coast and the villa is even more beautiful in person. Gianluigi was so helpful as well. He even helped organize a private chef to come cook for us on our last night. This was a 5 star experience! We will definitely visit again!

Unreal experience in a beautiful villa

Honestly words cannot describe how amazing our experience at this property was. Villa Madonna was hands down one of the most unique properties I have ever stayed at after traveling places around the world. Our host Gianluigi was so welcoming and made our experience awesome by helping to schedule private chefs and massages in the property. The property itself has one of the best views in Priano and has a pool that overlooks all of Positano and Priano. A villa for a very unique experience, and we will be sure to go again.

Wow!!

It was a wonderful holiday. The house is much bigger than it looks in the pictures. It is very clean and lovingly furnished. You can see little treasures everywhere. The house has charm and tells its own story. The house owner was very uncomplicated, always there for us, and a great asset to us. Thank you again for everything. We would be happy to recommend the house to others.
