We are pleased that our home is to be featured on HGTV Caribbean life Season 5 March 27th at 9:30 pm.
New bigger kitchen, new white roof, new Starlink satellite, new generator. Hot tub is NOT functional yet. We DO NOT open the cottage to guests for under 8 guests!
FantaSea, Beachfront villa sleeps 20(at the end we have the breakdown of beds), one of the few 'TRUE' beachfront villas in St Maarten. On Dawn beach we are one of a handful of private villa's in the rental market. Over an acre lot with beautiful coconut trees, banana, plantains, avocado and other tropical trees. Home has 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths and a pool. Home also has a cottage that is 1 bedroom with a bathroom and the gorgeous views. All bedrooms have great ocean views and ensuite bathrooms.

The house is beachfront but also on a hill, so you get the breezes, the expansive view and access to the beach. So for those of you who like to stay on a hill this house meets that requirement as well is beachfront. You get the cool breezes that are so refreshing.

All bedrooms face the ocean. 4 Masters facing the ocean with their own full baths.

How do you get to the beach? Walk down a hundred steps. We are on Dawn beach adjacent to the Westin Hotel.

The outdoor living space is what caribbean living is all about. We have a grill, dining table for 16, 8 pool side loungers and outdoor seating for 8, all on our deck. The pool is partially shaded. We just added a hayward heater for the hot tub that heats the spa very quickly.

Our home is a no smoking zone. You may smoke on the outside deck provided you keep all the related trash contained.

We have wifi in the main house. There is a internet extender for the cottage

Three bedrooms in the main house have a king size bed. The fourth bedroom has two bunk beds. Each bunk is full size bed, you can sleep 8 people/children in this bedroom.

Cottage has two double beds and two pull out single beds.

House has two kitchens one is in the main house, the other in the cottage.

Villa is a short drive to Philipsburg on the Dutch side or Grand Case and Orient Baie on the French side.
THE SUMMARY OF OUR AMENITIES:
- Large glass doors opening to the outside terrace areas, providing an outdoor ambiance indoors and maximum enjoyment of the constant trade winds
- High-speed wireless internet and cable television
- Private washer and dryer only available and open when housekeeping is home
- Concierge service for airport pickup, restaurant reservations, baby sitters, drivers for shopping, etc at extra cost if available.
- Pack n Play/crib available
- Personal chef available at extra cost. Chef costs need to be discussed directly with them
- Masseuse available
- Outdoor Weber barbeque grill
- Maid service every day except Sunday, no more than 4 hours daily. If more is needed please arrange to pay staff directly
- Electronic Shutters for doors and windows
- Video Surveillance for extra security
- House is also monitored 24 hours thru the alarm company

we had a group of 12 of us visit for the week. The house exceeded our expectations. We were comfortable, had beach access , and everything we needed. Would defiantly stay here again.

Family Vacation

This is our 2nd stay at FantaSea. It is truly a beautiful place. We were 10 adults and 4 children (7 mos to 5 yrs). We hung by the pool, walked down to the beach, and went to both resort bars that are within walking distance for happy hours. There was really no reason to drive anywhere. A great island vacation!

Great place

Great house and location just wish the pool and hot tub were heated. They did try to fix but no luck. Didn’t like the steps to beach it was a long hike for older people.

Lovely home

The seaweed was out of control and we could nit use the beach at the house at all. I know this is no fault of the owner but i would have loved a heads up about the situation before we arrived. The house was perfect for what we needed, but more run down than the pictures. And I was shocked at the need to clise all metal storm shutters and doors when we left or went to bed for safety reasons. I had no idea the area was that dangerous. But in the end the restaurants were amazing as was our housekeeper.

AMAZING Home on an AMAZING Island!

Five adults and five children with room to spare! We loved having the hot tub and pool available to us. We also enjoyed going down to the beach each day. Owner is very easy to work with! Very accommodating. The daily maid service was soooo nice! Can't wait to go back :)

Family Experience

Fabulous property for a family vacation. We were 10 total and could have fit a lot more. Had plans to partake of island activities but everyone was happy just hanging out at our own pool and beach. Little grandsons lived the dragons (iguanas)

Weekend Bachelorette

This villa had everything I needed and MORE to house 14 girls for my 4 day Bachelorette Party. Check-in was quick and easy. The Villa was very clean and our housekeeper, Tiana, was extremely thorough and sweet. All 5 rooms had AMAZING views. We used all the amenities without any issues. I definitely recommend this property when coming to SXM with a large party.

Beautiful Location!

The inside of the house was great. The outside of the house was beat up pretty bad by Irma. The outdoor shower, roof, gutters, stairs to the beach, and most of the gardens were destroyed. We enjoyed our stay very much and Audry (one of the house keepers) was amazing. There are lots of stairs to the beach, but it didn't bother us.

Outstanding vacation

We had 12 people in our group and never lacked for space or privacy. We enjoyed every moment of the house. The steps were a challenge but you could always stop along the way and enjoy the view. The hot tub was used everyday but the pool was a little cold for some of us. The house was always kept clean and the housekeeper was very helpful in anything we needed. We would highly recommend this house for an outstanding vacation.

Excellent location on a great beach!

This house has an excellent location on a great beach! We spent more time at this beach than any other because it was easy to walk to the house when you needed something. The beach was not crowded, calm, and beautiful. The water is very clear and the area in front of the house is very sandy and good for swimming. The house has a great set up for bedrooms and bathrooms, each room having it's own bathroom and shower is so nice. It's a spacious house and has everything you need. Our one disappointment was that the hot tub was not working, and looks like it hasn't been for awhile. There are definitely updates that need to be done to the house, but they don't get in the way of enjoying the wonderful spaces. We spent our mornings on the pool deck watching the sunrise over the ocean, down to the beach during the day, and back to the pool area to eat dinner, play cards, and watch the stars at night.

Slice of paradise!

Had a great time, lots of information prior to booking, walked us through our activities. Loved being picked up at the airport! Our flight was late, so grateful that the staff stayed on to walk us through the house. Outdoor deck in this house is perfect to enjoy the views, the winds, barbeque, getting tan, you name it. Had a relaxing time. Stayed in a lot of houses this was one of the best views. Will be back!

Perfect Family Reunion House!

One of the easiest and best vacations ever. We never wanted to leave the house. The Beach and the Pool were fabulous! We ate on the pool deck looking over the ocean every day and night. The few times we went out we went to 2 terrific restaurants that were in walking distance of the house. We did go to the French grocery store a few times to buy great steaks and seafood as well as French cheese and other delicacies. Great great House, We definitely are going back!

Women’s business event

This property is a gem I don’t see how the calendar is not booked up entirely each month. It’s perfectly located in a quiet area right on the beach, has staff in home as well as a cleaning woman who is the sweetest. Everything here is perfect. AC is phenomenal, the only small flaw is the WiFi doesn’t work so well and for streaming a live event with that many people in the home it really causes a challenge but besides that there’s bug spray a full bar and even a semi stocked fridge upon arrival! This is our second year here and will be back again

Horrible location

The cleaning staff, Sharon, was very nice and helpful and showed up to let us into the property even though the owner had told her the wrong date. The owner was very rude when I called to ask questions about the property prior to our arrival and the property is more run down than pictures depict. There was a horrible sulfar smell from the seaweed on that side of the island and the beach was not usable, also due to the seaweed. Most of the popular restaurants and blue water beaches are at least a 20 minute drive from the house so having your own car is a must. The house itself was decent and accommodated our party of 14 well but they need to put some money back into updating certain aspects of the property especially the outdoor space . The hot tub is still broken, I thought this would have been fixed since it was mentioned in a previous review, and the columns around the pool are literally crumbling apart, which is a safety issue. If you are vacationing for peace and quiet and want to get away from traffic, this is a good location but if you want to enjoy nice beaches and walk to restaurants this is not the right spot for you. I would not stay here again.

Great St. Maarten Villa with a great view

We had a bachelor party of 10 guys and we all had a fantastic time. The property was amazing with a great view. We loved the pool and the whole outdoor setup. Bedrooms and bathrooms were all large and clean. Beds and linens were all comfortable. We felt like there was plenty of space. It's conveniently located next to Westin hotel and Mr. Busby's beach bar. The floors and stairs were very slippery when wet and a few guys did take falls, but were fine when cleaned. We really loved the fresh coconuts from the Gardener, but he was only there one day - would have loved that every day. Also, would have been great to have one more set of keys and for the keys to be marked for each room. The owner was attentive to our needs. She called in advance to make sure everything was set and checked in to make sure all of our needs were met. The maid also did a good job. Overall it was a fantastic villa in a fantastic location! I would definitely recommend to others!

Added this property to my favorites and hope to come back. There were 8 of us plus the small 2 y.o. child and everyone had a good time. Steps to the beach were no problem. Owner is very responsive to any issue. Housekeeping was good, everything was always cleaned and laundry was done, even had a fresh coconut juice one day. View is amazing and location is excellent, right on the border between french and dutch sides. Close to the Orient Beach, our favorite French restaurants and bar hangout. Pancake place next door is very good for either breakfast or dinner. Did our grocery shopping in the main store, a little further, but the selection and prices were better then any other store in vicinity. Property is perfect for small kids since the villa is completely gated from all sides. Bring your bugs and mosquito sprays and repellents as owner recommends - you will need them in the evening or at night. Enough of gated parking for couple of full size cars. We rented from the local company Leisure Car Rental and got free upgrade and had no problems. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Place is large enough to accommodate 10-12 or even more people. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Views But Needs Improvements

This stay was a mixed bag for our group of 4 kids aged 6-15 and 5 adults. Our check in process was not smooth but the owner was apologetic and tried to make it right. And I feel for the owners because I am sure the issues are not so much neglect as not completing repairs after the hurricane. Still, the pictures do not reflect the current state of the home. It feels warn down. Pros The house is spacious with room for a big group. Direct beach access is a great feature. Views from the house and pool deck are beautiful. Master bedroom bed was quite comfortable. Clean, nice sheets and plenty of towels. Easy access to the JW Marriott for live music and the swim up bar (as well as Sunday brunch). Area felt quiet and safe. Cons Shower by the beach does not look like a tree and doesn’t function at all. Ceiling in the family room leaked when it rained. Hot tub is damaged; the heater and jets don’t work; numerous broken/danaged tiles by pool and stairs to beach. Pillars and wall at the front of the pool deck are damaged and there is a big pile of broken concrete pieces at the back of the pool deck. The pretty table and chaise lounge chairs from the pics are gone—cheap replacements and picnic tables. The caretaker didn’t start opening the house or cleaning until after check in time and arrived two hours before check out and started cleaning while we were trying to pack up and enjoy the last couple hours at the beach—it felt intrusive.

Beautiful views with a bit of work it could be great.

Pros: Check in process was easy. The house had a great layout and easy for entertaining. There were plenty of pool towels. The house felt secure. The dining room table had plenty of seating. 10 pool lounge chairs available (more than the 8 listed). Things I would want to know: The photos do not accurately reflect the current state of the property. New living room furniture (seats 6 – 8). Turn the alcove furniture around to make more seating. There is no outdoor table anymore (2 picnic table). This was an issue for us, as this was the main reason I booked it. We hired a private chef for the stay (on our own). Picnic tables are not comfortable for 2 hour dinners. The owner tried to resolve it once I noticed the previous review, but could not in time. The air-conditioning did not work in 2 of the 4 rooms upon arrival. Resolved the following day. Ceiling in the family room & living room leaked when it rained. Per the owner, this is being resolved in the next couple of weeks. The pool is deep (no shallow end). More like a lap pool. They have floats and we brought some and left them. Dishwashing detergent is provided not laundry detergent. The listing says maid service is daily, but once per our stay (5 days) – important to have laundry detergent. 2 local cell phones were provided (used our own data). Fridge was not stocked (fresh milk, fruit, soda, beer.) Wifi was unreliable (used personal data). Owner has stated this is resolved. The owner was easy to deal with & responsive

Great Accomodations

I don't even know where to begin. The overall experience was fantastic. We had a group of 6 adults and 8 children. The house easily accommodated the 14 of us. There was a room of bunk beds in the main house where we put the girls and we put the boys in a little cabana house that included it's own kitchen. All the rooms have a nice view and are well set up. the cabana house has limited views and if we had one complaint it's that it doesn't have much airflow so after you put 4 boys in it by the end of the week it begins to smell like the backseat of a long family road trip. The house is on the beach but it's a bit of a haul down the stairs. Now that said, it's not too difficult unless maybe if you're a senior. The beach area is not vast but it's adjacent to the Westin which has a large beach area. While the beach at the Westin is very nice once in the water its very rocky/sharp crushed shells. However, if you go out in the water in front of fantasea it's actually very sandy. From the very beginning the owner was very accommodating. We had open dialog on everything from house features to things to do on the island to even the condiments already at the house. She was truly in the interest of our group having a fantastic time. In fact, because of the way the house is set up it's great for socializing. The kids played cards and played in the pool and the adults hung out on the patio or in the hot tub every night we were at the house. Not once did anyone even turn on a TV. We actually lost touch of what was going on in the world. I guess that's what vacation is supposed to be about. In summary, if going to St. Maarten, you can't go wrong with this house.

Comfortable stay for large group

Everything about our stay was easy, from check-in to the daily housekeeping. The housekeeper we had, Christiana, was lovely and went above and beyond for us, even helping with our BBQ and finding local restaurants from which we could order in. The villa is also quite large and fit all 13 of us, which is no small feat. All in all, it was a lovely stay.

Ideal for large family gatherings

Daily housekeeping was a huge bonus, and our host Sonal was always accommodating and responsive. The location of the house gave us easy access to the Dutch or French side of the island. The house was extremely clean and comfortable for our group of 8 adults and 9 kids

As soon as we saw the views we were hooked and the old garden in the house, breath taking. 21 coconut trees in the yard! You can see St. Barts from the house! The views just blow you away. Not only is the house beachfront, has a really large mature garden, but also has the expansive views because it is on a hill.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Yes there are many homes in St Maarten not many that are beachfront and you can walk to the beach. Westin is right next door with all the amenities of a 5 star resort
