Bluewater #1403 is an interior gulf-front 3 bedroom 2 bath condominium located on the 14th floor overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The unit is approximately 1500 sq ft with views of the gulf from the living room and gulf-side master bedroom. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with washer and dryer. There are 2 full baths. The master has an en suite bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The hallway has a tub/shower combo as well.

Bluewater is a 14 story building with 6 units per floor located 5.7 miles East of Highway 59 in Orange Beach. Bluewater has a large sun deck area with outdoor pool and hot tub. The indoor pool also has a hot tub and small fitness room. The property also has a grilling area. 2 car limit. No Winter Monthly's.

STAY AND PLAY

This rental comes with our 'Stay and Play Package', which includes complimentary tickets to the best area activities including; golfing, deep sea fishing, dolphin/nature cruise, amusement park, zoo and movie rentals. Each rental comes with our "Stay and Play package." Some restrictions apply.

*The 'Stay and Play Package' begins on the scheduled date of arrival and is not available on day of departure. Services are non-cumulative and non-transferable. All services are subject to change, subject to availability, and weather permissible. The 'Stay and Play Package' does not apply to monthly rentals.

2025 vacation

Stay there the last 5 years, ALL mattresses need replaced. Door code locked us out before checkout time, had to pay for second car parking 75 . Security personnel are extremely nice. Dishwasher does not dry ,dryer has to be ran 2 times to dry.

100% worth it

Took a trip with friends for fall break and it was the perfect place and location. Only have to be 21 to rent which was one of the reasons we chose to stay here. Highly recommend as it’s on the beach and close to most restaurants.

The Bluewater building itself was very clean inside and and out. The location is very convenient to shops. Our condo had a beautiful view of the gulf and a large balcony. The condo was large and spacious however the carpet in the bedrooms needs to be replaced. I will stay there again.

Great Time With Friends

Stayed at this condominium with a group of 9 buddies for spring break. Had an absolute blast and loved the amount of sleeping areas given the relatively small size of the unit. Only complaint was that some of the furniture was very cheap/fragile and some of the appliances did not work. Dryer did not work which was very inconvenient the whole trip

If have small children (toddlers) you have to be watchful the door can be easily opened from inside - not child safe. We put things in front of it so she couldn't get it open during the night.

It has the bare minimum on kitchen utensils. Ice maker didn’t work we just bought a bag and let condo rental company know on departure. Some of the furniture is in rough shape as I see noted in past reviews.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I bring my kids every year, we always stay at bluewater usually the condo unit next door this year it was 1403. The condo it self.. needs a few things repaired,, shower towel rods some paint. This one was not supplied as well as the other units,, trash bags toiletries , the can openers both of them are rusted a few things like that. Over all blue water is fantastic.. I always reserve it I'm February.. the security there are very nice and good people, Over all its always a great vacation.

Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My gr j grandkids voted for a beach vacation this year instead of our traditional Smoky Mountain adventure. My son suggested Orange Beach since it was a much shorter drive than other places. We stayed in Bluewater Resorts on Perdido Beach Blvd. the accommodations were fabulous and access to the beach was ecerything it was advertised to be. There was a youth group from Texas staying at Bluewater also. They had 24 condos. The condos are well insulated; we never heard any of them until we went outside. The inside and outside pools were very nice in the middle of the day when it was too hot on the beach. We were there seven days and ate out only three times. Everything we needed Tom prepare meals at the condo was there. Highly recommended

Condo was in poor condition

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was in poor shape. Drywall had several holes and lots of other damage throughout. Needs holes fixed and the whole thing needs painting. Trimwork very dirty. Slider and windows from living room to deck are cloudy with moisture inside and hard to see through. Carpet in the three bedrooms is filty. Ice maker broken. The kitchen was mostly well stocked but only had 4 spoons and 2 very small coffee cups. Washing machine extremely loud. Would not rent this condo again. The hottub was broken too. Disappointed about that.

Great beach to visit

The area is great! The condo itself being on the 14th floor did not take away from the view. The balcony is pretty large fit comfortably out there with 9 of us. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable as well as livingroom furniture. Plug ins outside are unique in that the switch by the master controls the power to it and the plug in by the TV. Also the A/C has an auto shutoff after a few minutes if the sliding doors are not shut. Access to dollar general and souvenir shopping is across the street which is very convenient. Pools were nice and usually not busy the beach was never really crowded since it wasn’t close to Public access. Be sure to keep starter for TP, trash bags, dishwasher tabs is for when you get there you must shop or bring your things by the end of the day. Kitchen is stocked with silverware, cutting knives, and various cooking utensils. They also have towels and place setting for 8 so if there are more get plates. We stayed at the condo for 4th of July and although we couldn’t see the fireworks from where we were, they had several people shooting off fireworks fight on the beach. Overall we had a great time and would return. Not sure about the PLAY AND STAY. was kind of expecting to have info in the welcome packet they had for me when I enter the condo so May want to ask after booking. All in all we loved it!

Close to beach

2nd stay at this building, different condo. We like this place for the closeness to the beach. We rent chairs and umbrella. The person responsible for cleaning needs to be changed. The bed I slept in did not have the correct size fitted sheet and did not fit over the mattress. They left it like that and made the bed. Could not locate other fitted sheet to fit. Feet got hung up in the sheet. Found popcorn on the couch when we arrived. Found child's sticker book under TV stand which proves they are not cleaning well. I dropped item under bed in the bedroom with 2 beds. The carpet smelled bad. Has stains on the carpet. Needs to be removed and replaced with the nice wood looking tile in the rest of the condo. There was mold on the inside of the shower liner. The toilet in the master would run if you didn't jingle the handle. Dryer does not work on minutes setting. Need larger coffee cups!! The wood tile flooring is very nice. Furniture is comfortable.

Disgusting Condo- Don't Stay Here!!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is filthy. There was built up dirt and grime in every corner, there was mold growing underneath the sink on the rotted out cabinet in the bathroom, the carpet was matted down and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a decade. The patio has two separate entrances- living room and a bedroom and the living room doors would not budget with an ex football player trying to pry them open. Management came out and said they had to hire an outside vendor to fix but after threatening a bad review they finally came out on our last day to fix it. The microwave worked occasionally, the toaster caught fire and could not be used, the fridge didn't keep our food cold, the vacuum was broken, the outdoor furniture has so much rust it comes off on your clothes. I spent so much on this vacation for my family and this condo experience ruined it. If I could rate this property a 0 I would.

If a condo is not up to par, we can send housekeeping or maintenance out to address the issues. All maintenance and housekeeping issues will be passed along to that department to be corrected, including any HOA related issues. All update suggestions will be sent to the appropriate party. 42nd Birthday Celebration

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the condo is great and convenient to everything. I love the tile and the kitchen setup. The view was AMAZING!!! I loved the 2 options of an indoor pool as well as an outdoor pool. There were a few rainy days, so the indoor pool was a lifesaver after a day at the beach and we still wanted time for the kids to play. However, there are a few things that need to be addressed in the condo. The shower curtains need to be replaced as they have mold/mildew on them. 2 of the chairs on the balcony need to be removed or repaired, they are broken, torn, and rusty. The dryer only works on the "sensor dry" setting, so a note needs to be posted regarding this, so renters do not have to call maintenance for a simple solution like this. The toilet in the master bedroom runs if you do not make sure the handle is pushed all the way to the top after flushing. The water in the tank refills slowly and that is what causes the toilet to run as the bulb in the tank takes a while to get back to the proper height. The papasan chair in the living room needs to be replaced as it is very worn. On Checkout day our code to enter the condo stopped working, even though we had until 10am to check out. After talking with the office and trying 3 different codes, the maintenance man was able to get us back in the room after about 15 minutes when we used the code he provided. The hot tub in the indoor pool area was not working at all, some other renters I believe called it in and someone started working on it on the day we checked out.

Condo was in poor condition

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was in poor shape. Drywall had several holes and lots of other damage throughout. Needs holes fixed and the whole thing needs painting. Trimwork very dirty. Slider and windows from living room to deck are cloudy with moisture inside and hard to see through. Carpet in the three bedrooms is filty. Ice maker broken. The kitchen was mostly well stocked but only had 4 spoons and 2 very small coffee cups. Washing machine extremely loud. Would not rent this condo again. The hottub was broken too. Disappointed about that.

Vacation at bluewater

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The ice maker made mini cubes. It half worked. Have of the electrical outlets worked. The last day the outlets in master bedroom all quit working. One of the bar stools was missing hardware so the seat was not attached to the frame. The furniture was not modern. The location was great. The beach was great.

The condo was in a good location. Being on the 14th floor the elevators were quick and both were working which was a big plus. The keyless entry was very helpful. There were a few things with the room that needs to be fixed. The doors to the washer and dryer did not work property. The utensil drawer kept falling apart. The room was overall clean and the beds were very comfortable.
