The location of this apartment is absolutely incredible. The view is magnificent day and night. We even watched the Eiffel Tower fireworks from a window, and the Paris sunrise/sunsets and the illuminated Sacré Cœur Basilica at night are breathtaking. The building is also very nice, with an elevator, a lovely concierge, and mostly local residents, making it peaceful.The owner was kind, respectful, responsive, honored our requests, arranged repairs, and provided a partial refund, which I appreciated.The main downside was the condition of the apartment. Upon arrival, I had to buy cleaning supplies, clean the bathroom and kitchen, remove garbage left under the bed, and wash all dishes and utensils before using them. Several maintenance issues also required attention: the shower was backing up, the bathroom door malfunctioned (my daughter became accidentally locked inside due to the faulty latch), and the dishwasher and washing machine needed the handyman.Although AC was advertised, there was none when we arrived during an extreme Paris heat wave. The first week was very difficult; we spent one night in a hotel and searched for alternatives. The owner eventually brought a portable AC, which improved the remaining three weeks, although we had to set it up ourselves.Overall, the location, views, and building are exceptional, and the owner's efforts to resolve issues were appreciated. With better maintenance and cleaning, this would be a wonderful place to stay.
