Lovely farmhouse with exclusive pool

Le Capanne is a beautiful farmhouse recently restored maintaining its historic and rural character yet offering all the modern comforts of a contemporary accommodation. It has a large and totally fenced in garden with a pool that boasts lovely views of the valley.

This is the largest accommodation offered in Camporsevoli, a private Tuscan medieval hamlet, spanning across three levels, complete with gated parking, garden and pool. Located just below Camporsevoli, it is perfect for hosting large families or groups of friends. The house is fully equipped with all the comforts of your own home, allowing for the ideal 'home away from home' rental while providing that country-chic Tuscan touch.

The owners are bilingual in Italian and English and speak good french. Le Capanne is complete with a large outdoor space with a covered patio, lawn furniture and BBQ, providing guests with the opportunity to cook and dine outdoors.

The exclusive pool is located in the garden just below the house, making it comfortable and easy to move between activities. Le Capanne offers a fully enclosed private car parking, in front of the house, providing easy unloading and packing.

Located just up the road in the hamlet of Camporsevoli, ‘The Corner’ honesty bar is open all day, offering made-to-order espresso, snacks, refreshments, local wine and our own olive oil. Enjoy its amenities, including a book exchange library, games and local guides while lounging on the bar’s outdoor shaded couch.

Camporsevoli was build just below the mountain of Cetona. There are direct roads and foot trails that lead up to the memorable Cross atop the mountain, looking of the Valdichiana, perfect for a picnic.

Like many farmhouses, Le Capanne has been expanded at various times, and consists of three floors perched on the hillside. This means that its layout is irregular, offering a great deal of privacy, if desired.

Over 5400 sq. ft., it is located on the road that leads up to Camporsevoli, one kilometre below the hamlet. It is an independent house, surrounded by a large private garden and exclusive pool. The five double rooms and five bathrooms are distributed on three levels. The large and bright living room, dining room and kitchen open out onto outdoor patio and garden. A smaller living room on the third floor is a quiet space to watch TV or read a book. Both the main living room and the smaller one have a fireplace. The entire third floor, also accessible from an external staircase, can become an independent suite with a kitchenette and private entrance. In all, the house sleeps a total of ten guests. Moreover, if you have children, the pool area is completely closed-off by a gate.

Many guests choose Le Capanne with the intention of visiting cities and towns because of its strategic location (just one and a half hours from both Rome and Florence and under an hour to countless Tuscan and Umbrian hill towns) but often end up staying put enjoying the tranquillity.

The house is fully equipped with wifi and satellite TV and DVD player. Each bathroom is provided with its own hairdryer and upon request, we can provide all the necessities to host small children and babies. The washing machine is located in the far rear of the house, away from sight and sound. The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials for cooking meals during your stay complete with a 5 burner stovetop, a 90 cm electric oven, microwave and dishwasher. The garden is fully furnished with outdoor lounge chairs, a shaded outdoor patio, BBQ, providing everything you need to cook and dine outdoors. Just below, the pool is complete with sunbathing beds, chairs and a shaded area, providing for each guest’s needs.

Children and small pets are welcome, discounts for longer rentals are available. Maid, cook, babysitting services and trip consultation are available upon request. Le Capanne can also be set up with ramps for wheelchair accessibility and all the essentials for babies. Pets are welcome as long as we are notified beforehand.
