Welcome to Hacienda de Leyba, a serene escape just 5 miles from Santa Fe Plaza. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, this warm and inviting home blends authentic Southwestern charm with modern comforts, offering plenty of space for family and friends to gather. The 3 large bedrooms feature two queen-sized beds and one full-sized bed, set against a backdrop of tile floors and traditional wood vigas throughout the home. Both the master bathroom and the hallway bathroom feature a combination tub and shower, offering convenience and flexibility for guests. In the main living room, a wood-burning stove adds cozy ambiance, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Enjoy entertainment with a TV and DVD player in the living room and a smart TV in the upstairs den, complete with Dish Satellite and Wi-Fi. The spacious chef’s kitchen is filled with natural light from two large windows and equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. Features include a gas cooktop, oven with separate warming tray, microwave oven, countertop ice maker, coffee maker, toaster, and blender—all set around a granite-topped island, perfect for meal prep and socializing. A front load washer and dryer in the laundry area adds extra convenience. While the home is centrally heated, ceiling fans in all bedrooms and the dining area ensure a cool breeze. Step onto the rooftop covered deck, where guests can lounge in a chaise and take in Santa Fe’s stunning sunsets. Great Location!

The property manager was very efficient to our needs and questions. The location of this home is perfect too many things to do and close to the plaza. We will definitely be staying here again.

Great hacienda for a Christmas getaway!

We had a very nice stay. It was a very comfortable, clean, and spacious home. Nice big kitchen, comfortable beds, nice linens, and a wood stove which made the living room cozy. We felt especially welcomed when the owner left a couple of treats for us for our arrival. I would highly recommend this accommodation for your Santa Fe trip!

Hacienda is a great property and location.

The property was just as described and the owner was great. They stayed in communication and was very helpful with the entire process. The house was perfect for my entire family. It was like ho.me away from home.

Great Place

The house was perfect. The location just outside the city was quiet and all of Santa Fe was easily accessible. The house was fully stocked. The wood burning fireplace was perfect for the chilly nights. The second floor patio was great for enjoying a drink and watching the sunrise. The owners were very helpful with ideas for local food and attractions.

In Santa Fe for a family wedding.

Check in easy, lovely home, plenty of space. Flora responded quickly and was very helpful. We were in town for a family wedding and our place served as a central gathering and dropping off place for grandma, aunts, uncles and cousins. Very quiet and comfortable space.

Quiet, Comfortable, and Convenient

What a great place for our family to gather for the holidays! Spacious living area, well-stocked kitchen, plenty of sleeping spaces. Even enjoyed the deck space in the winter weather. Home is in a quiet area with beautiful views. A short drive to downtown and convenient to major roads if you are venturing north or south from Santa Fe. Host was very welcoming, messaging us during our stay to check-in and providing great arrival, departure, and Santa Fe area information. Highly recommend for families!

Great and easy communication. Arrived late and appreciated the ease of access. Lovely views and relaxation areas. Out of town, yet so very close to everything !! Easy access from hi-way. Wish the weather would have been nicer, as we would have used the outdoor tables and chairs :)

Eclectic and funky place to stay near Santa Fe full of fun Knick knacks and decor. Host was super easy to work with and had great communication. Our two young kids had a great time. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. I do feel like things weren’t fully cleaned prior to us arriving. The tub was dirty and had hair in it and the rugs had hair balls and dust bunnies all over them. Aside from that it was pretty great.

Great Unit, Great Location

My family is from the Santa Fe area. We stayed there during the Thanksgiving holiday. The house was great and the location was perfect. The house was very well equipped for "thanksgiving cooking." The only cons I have: small outdated TV, stove would not boil water, oven needs to be calibrated. Outside of that, the stay was great. House was very clean and in amazing condition.

Thank you for the letting us know about the oven and stove, we are having them both checked. As far as the tv, it is only 3 years old but we have had no complaints to date. When they do go out, we will upgrade to a larger size. We strive to have the home clean and appreciate knowing if things are not working properly. We want our guests to be comfortable and feel at home. We hope you return again.

Spacious and quiet stay in Santa Fe

This was a great place for our family of five over the Christmas-New Year's break, with plenty of space for all. We loved the authenticity of the architecture, the comfortable beds, two baths, and the huge kitchen that had everything we needed including a beautiful view of the Jemez Mountains. The Franklin stove was nice for warmth. The location is very quiet and rural, yet only a short drive to the center of town. Overall a very positive experience. The only negatives were that the upper floor was very cold and the lighting in several areas could be improved.

Just like home

I felt as though we were staying in someones home and they had just left the day before.A very pleasant experience and very comfortable. Open the door and just start relaxing The location is rural, but surprisingly close to everything. It is very quiet and peaceful. My family enjoyed sitting on the deck for morning coffee and enjoying the peaceful area and watching the sunrise light up the mountains to the west. The kitchen is something else, large, fully stocked and a window to the west that is the width of the kitchen. The upstairs den and patio provide great views of the Santa Fe area and a separate area to get away from other activities in the home. This is a large unit and everyone can spread out . We enjoyed it immensely.

Great location, Very Spacious

We had a great time at Flora’s unit! There were 5 adults and we had ample space, and there were big common areas: the kitchen, dining room, and living room. We didn’t ever hear the neighboring units and the property is perfectly located— minutes away from anything downtown but you still get the great views of being in the dessert. We had a little trouble with the WiFi, but we know that those problems can happen and are usually from the Internet provider and not the owner. It was nice having the washer/dryer and fully stocked kitchen. We feel like we got a true Santa Fe experience on our little getaway.

This was a great place to stay! The accommodations were excellent and had every amenity you could ask for and then some. Magical place in land of enchantment

We had a wonderful stay at the hacienda. The property was as described with outstanding views of the landscape. This was a quiet neighborhood that felt out of town, yet the plaza was a short drive away as were multiple hiking trails. We took several day trips to Taos, Chimayo, and Los Alamos. The unit is very spacious with plenty of room to spread out. We particularly enjoyed the upstairs den with the gorgeous views and great light. Flora and her family were very responsive and immediately addressed minor glitches with internet and wood stove.

Both my husband and I were born and raised here in New Mexico. We are in our mid 80's with 2 married children. We have 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Growing up in northern New Mexico we are accustomed to haciendas (several dwellings under one roof) where families lived near each other. The entire house is set up as four separate units under one roof. This is the largest main unit with three bedrooms and two baths.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The views from the property of all the mountains are superb! Spectacular sunrises over the Sangre de Cristo mountains to colorful sunsets over the Jemez Mountains. Just outside the city limits but close enough to drive to either the Santa Fe Plaza, Santa Fe Opera, Santa Fe Ski area and easy access to Albuquerque.
