Fripp Island Condo Overlookig the Ocean!

Enjoy the gorgeous sunrise, watch the dolphins jump and see the many sea birds, or just relax and get that beautiful tan you're always wanted from your private balcony. This large ( 2016 heated square feet) and beautifully decorated condo offers all you expect and more. Two king sized bedrooms, both with ocean views. One bedroom with twin beds. All have new Beautyrest mattresses and box springs. Private baths for each. Tile and granite counter tops throughout . Sleeper sofa. Linens/towels furnished. The large eat-in kitchen is fully furnished with everything you will need from boiling lobsters to fixing that refreshing drink.

The living room includes a formal dining area, fireplace, wet bar, and a 52" TV. Each bedroom has it's own TV. Extensive DVD, video collection, and board games for a rainy day.

Fishing charters are available at the on-site marina. Biking, parks w/playgrounds, and excursions are available.

Two great ocean view golf courses, ten tennis/pickle courts, seven pools,(one heated), shopping and restaurants and one beautiful beach.

Free WiFi, 2 bikes, beach chairs, toys, & towels

We offer 2 free amenity cards for weekly rentals and include the cleaning fee. For rentals less than a full week, we don't provide free amenity cards but they can be purchased. We charge a cleaning fee of $125 for rentals less that a full week.

We have a limo golf cart that we offer for $400 for a week or $60. per day.

Our condo can also be rented on a 1 or 2 bedroom basis, other than during the peak season.

Condo is fantastic, but know what you're getting into with Fripp

The rental unit itself was very comfortable for a group of six. The kitchen is very well stocked. Lots of space, stunning views, and little touches like VHS tapes, DVDs, and games. Communication with the owners was a bit of a challenge. They absolutely refused to communicate online, insisting instead to speak by phone. With two kids and a full time job, a 45-minute phone call was not exactly my preferred method of communication. Everything we discussed could have easily been handled through VRBO messaging. Also, understand what Fripp Island is. Fripp is a private development that has changed ownership seven times since it was originally built in the 60's. It was supposed to compete with the likes of Hilton Head and other more desirable beach locations in the area, but it never became that. So, to recoup their losses, the developers nickel and dime residents and visitors with fees to access pools, restaurants, and bars. The fees are, of course, in addition to whatever money you spend at these places, which I would advise against anyway. The food options are very mediocre. The nearest restaurants of any real quality are about a 20-minute drive back towards Beaufort.Overall, the unit is great. The owners are nice, but communication is a struggle. The beach is stunning. And Fripp Island is basically one big underperforming country club and an HOA from hell with wealthy retired residents patrolling their little fiefdoms telling people what they're doing wrong. Very stuffy.

Nightmare vacation

Host called two hours before arriving that the garage was being worked on and they had to move his golf cart so he wanted to tell me where to find itGot to the condo after 3pm. It was not work they were doing it was CONSTRUCTION Jackhammers and a saw that cuts into cement is not work it’s construction big difference So loud in the condo so contacted host to ask if this was going to go on our whole stay. He called back and said yes from 8am to 5pmAt that time he should of offered our money back but instead his wife told us during that time 8am till 5 pm go sightseeing, ride the golf cart around the island or go to the beachSo nine hours we can not be in the condo because of the noiseNo sleeping in and no relaxing Then we went to eat and found out that we needed a card to eat on the island I was told it was only to swim, tennis, golfNot to eatContacted host and he would get them for us but would not get till the next daySo we had to leave the island to go eat. Restaurants were either closed or booked with almost a two hour wait. Took hours to find something. Keep in mind I had my 11 year old grandson with us Next day, my daughter’s birthday, we had to go off the island to eat again Got back go to the golf cart and it’s barely charged and has a flat tire Lady told us we could go to the golf cart rental place and they could helpThe golf cart died on the way there Contacted hostThis is all I could write. Out of space. Never got better checked out a day early

Great property, great view!

We loved this property, great location, very well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds. The only improvement might have been a carpet shampoo or replacement.

Beautiful views

We have been staying on Fripp Island for over 30 years. We have stayed in all types of different locations on the island. This condo had magnificent views of the sunrise and ocean. Still close enough to a pool and the beach and we loved the use of the golf cart. There are stairs to get in and out of the condo, not a problem for us, but should be kept in mind for anyone who can’t do stairs. The owners were very gracious, and we enjoyed our stay.

We have been going as a family for several years, always staying at New Haven. This year was by far the very best. We enjoyed the condo, you literally need only to pack a bag.

Fripp Adventure

Beautiful condo and island. View is amazing. We watched dolphin most days from the balcony. Granddaughter enjoyed the pools, beach, tidal pools and seeing the deer and animals at Nature Center. We took a tour out to an island one day for shelling. Most enjoyable beach stay.

Fripp Island Stay

After booking online the owners were great with communication. Always were there to answer questions one may have. The directions and check in process were spot on and precise. Kudos for that. The condo itself was described as in the listing with some major exceptions. Getting into the condo was extremely difficult. Specifically, people who have disabilities or are handicapped. There are roughly 7 stairs with railing and then a platform and then 3 more steep stairs with no railing. It was very difficult for me to get up and down the stairs. The front door needs to be updated. When walking in there was a light musty odor, however, we are used to that, because you get that from high humidity and a/c. When looking around the condo we noticed more stairs. There is a second floor to this condo. Where there are 2 more bedrooms/bathrooms and laundry. This did not make me happy, due to I cannot do stairs well. In addition, I chose this condo because of it having a walk in shower. Low and behold it was located upstairs off the master bedroom. Not happy.. Then we noticed a lot of dust on fixtures. The closet door in master bedroom upstairs was off the hinge and electric outlets were very loose and falling out of the wall. The best part of the condo was the balcony overlooking the water. The condo itself was good, but needs help in areas. Not handicapped accessible... The island itself was ok if you like golf and being low key. There is not much of anything to do on the island.

Very relaxing!!

First of all, Barry is one of the nicest owners I've ever rented from!!! The island is absolutely beautiful all over. The golf cart rental is definitely a must, because there is so much to see and do all over the island but the parking is sometimes limited so the golf cart made it a lot easier, and of course my kids thought it was more fun and loved it. The views are beautiful, especially early morning! The beach and pool is just around the corner of the condo. Easy walk and having the option of the other pools is nice also, to have a change of scenery thru out the week. The shrimp festival was going on while we were there, so that was an added bonus my family got to enjoy. We had perfect weather and so much fun, and relaxing we did not want to leave. This condo had everything we needed, we will definitely be back!!!! Thank you so much for a wonderful week, Barry and Katie!!!!

The view is amazing!!!

My 19 year old son loved driving me around Fripp. We went to the Beach Monday And Tuesday. It was nice to spend some time together after the unthinkable happened in June. We lost my husband suddenly after 32 years together and 28 years married. We are still picking up the pieces of our shattered life. I don't expect to get over this. The last vacation we 3 took together was to Fripp. We loved the ocean. We left some of my husbands ashes in the ocean out from The Hunting Island pier which was his favorite place to fish. We will try to come back next year and would love to stay at Katie and Barry's condo again. Thank you both for your hospitality and compassion. Jennifer and Markee Lott

Amazing

We have been to Fripp 6 times now and this condo is the best. The owners are supper nice and on top of any needs or questions you might have. The Condo was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. Just an amazing spot on Fripp to stay. Would recommend it to anyone and will be staying there again.

Beautiful Condo With Amazing View!

This was the perfect condo for our stay on Fripp! We used two of the bedrooms and each had amazing views with extremely comfortable mattresses. The condo was extremely clean and the kitchen was had everything we needed and more! Katie and Barry were readily available when I had questions. I hope to visit again soon!

Gorgeous views in clean, spacious condo

Spectacular ocean views. Enjoyed watching the dolphins, pelicans, & purple martins from the deck. Very comfortable & well-stocked condo. Owners are very kind & helpful. Beach is beautiful & not crowded but found no shells. The weather became rainy & cloudy so we were sad to only have 1 1/2 days on the beach. Enjoyed delicious seafood at Bonita Boathouse, Foolish Frog, & JMT. And had a chance to tour Beaufort, which was fun.

Mini Getaway

Our first experience on Fripp Island. Very nice condo in beautiful location overlooking ocean by sea wall and equipped with anything needed to enjoy a beach stay. The condo complex is very pristine and quiet. Our friends the Pucketts are the owners and were always accessible for any hiccup or issue that came up. Highly recommend!

Spacious Condo with a view

This was a perfect location for us. Everything was provided including the personal touches. Very clean and amazing views. We saw multiple dolphin sightings. We will be back!

We love Fripp Island and we love our condo. This is our 'home away from home'. Our children grew up going to Fripp and now they are taking their children. We make some improvements every year. We hope when you stay at our condo, you will love it as much as we do!
