Rocky Top Lodge is an exquisite all wood cabin which is ideal for family gatherings. Description: Spacious (4100+ Sq. Feet), Beautiful (See the pictures and Video), Tranquil, Quiet, Peaceful, Serene with Modern Updates. Spectacular 180 degree panoramic view from each room overlooking the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

When you are ready to come inside you will be treated to 4100+ square feet of breathtaking naturally preserved wood surroundings to include two master suites-each with king-size beds, two other huge bedrooms with queen-size beds, two huge gas log fireplaces, pillow top mattresses and absolutely the best furnishings to make your stay in the Smokies a truly memorable experience!

For the kids, the loft offers an additional spacious recreation area to include an upscale pool table, Foosball table, Game Cube, TVs, DVD players, stereo and other fun activities. Also, in the loft is a queen size sleeper/sofa. We have two sets of bunk beds available, one set per queen bedroom. For the little ones, we feature 2 baby beds and high chairs.

We are located just outside of beautiful Wears Valley and convenient to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Cades Cove, and the Knoxville Airport.

Our latest addition is extremely fast internet service. With this new service, you get the best speed available in the Smokies.

For security purposes, we have outside cameras.

Fantastic Family Gathering

We had the best time. Beautiful location, beautiful views, great kitchen with anything you needed to prepare meals. Absolutely, one of the best family experiences in years.

Nice cabin with plenty of space and great view

The cabin was very nice and clean and the views were great. Plenty of space and everything we needed. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Great stay!

Perfect for 12 adult vacation. Cabin is prepared for babies and young children also. We hope to return as we vacation with our next generation.

Great location for family with kids

The extremely well equipped kitchen complete with plates , cups, and utensils for toddlers was an extra nice surprise for our group of four grandchildren.

Phenomenal is the perfect description

This house was perfect as a base for our Smokey mountain adventure. Just a short distance to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Cades Cove and Knoxville, we were able to easily get to all the things we were doing for the week. Besides the location the house itself was just perfect. A great set up with everything we needed and more. We had several questions along the way and the owners responded very quickly and took care of the question. The perfect host. My next trip back definitely staying here.

Exceeded our expectations. Fabulous views, comfortable space, plenty of room for a large family. Especially appreciated the well stocked kitchen supplies and a new powerful grill. So close to the National Park entrances. Thanks for a great stay!

Great Place

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The lodge was perfect with many amenities. The kids loved the pool table and hot tub. The fully equipped kitchen and grill made it nice for cooking meals. The large 10+ foot dining table and spacious living room were great for meals and hanging out. The hosts we’re very responsive when we had questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful vacation!

We loved our stay here! The home was so spacious, with a wonderful, well equipped kitchen. The view of the mountains was amazing and so beautiful to wake up to every morning. We would definitely stay here again! The whole family loved it! We had 2 babies along on the trip and the house worked perfectly with the baby beds and high chairs.

Clean, beautiful well equipped

This was thE PERFECT cabin for a family reunion. We were attending a wedding in Gatlinburg and shared this home with my sisters family. We found it perfect! Kitchen was super well equipped. Cabin is very roomy and comfortable! We couldn't have picked a better place to stay 😊

Getaway with the Grands!

The house was perfect for our 3 generation getaway. Very well stocked kitchen. Comfy beds, games and an amazing view! We felt like we were gay away from the business of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg but actually just took 15 minutes into town. Would definitely recommend!

Very Nice Place to Stay with Family

We had a wonderful time. I would definitely stay here again and take my family. Would recommend this place to others as well. We had a wonderful time. Even had a glitch with VRBO not sending us the info needed the day before our trip. Send a text message to the owners and had what we needed in just a few minutes.

The best cabin ever!

We took our church youth group for the long weekend and had an amazing time! The cabin was so beautiful, a spacious kitchen, plenty of sitting for our group, everything was perfect! The one time we had to communicate with the owner, she was quick to respond and really kind. The only thing I would say is - yes the drive up is STEEP but it is so worth it! We can’t wait to come visit again next year!

Beautiful home, amazing views.

Beautiful home. Amazing views and great location. Our only concerns were the hot tub and deck. Hot tub water was cloudy and had an odor, it probably needs to cleaned. There were also several loose boards on the deck floor.

Perfect for our Large Family

We loved everything about our stay! We had 16 people and had plenty of room. The cabin is so nice and feels so homey. The kitchen is so well stocked, beds are comfortable. The only thing I didn’t give 5 stars on was the check-in process - only because when we arrived at 4:45 the cleaning crew was still there and they didn’t leave until 5:15. There wasn’t room for all of us to park and unload while we waited for them to finish up. I know that’s not the owner’s fault, though! We would definitely stay here again.

The view from the deck was not as expected. I wish the property owners would trim the tops of the trees in the back in order to make the view as spectacular as advertised. Otherwise, everything was nice.

Review of property

We enjoyed our stay and this property. Lots of room and nice big table for eating. The hot tub was not working for part of the week because of lightning strike but was repaired. Refrigerator water and ice was broken, but everything else was very nice. Lots of beds and bathrooms. We encountered daily visits from mother bear and her 3 cubs, searching for food which was fun to see but a little scary for the kids. Very well stocked in kitchen, bathrooms, etc. with most everything we needed. Great location for heading to our daily treks to Smoky Mountain National Park. Access to a nice local pool was also good. Short drive to Townsend was also nice.

Wonderful Cabin for Family Vacation! Beautiful view!

family vacation, 7 adults and 3 children. The cabin has a Beautiful view of the mountains. Location was great for what our family wanted to do, which was explore nature. Easy access to the GSMP and Cades Cove. The cabin itself was spacious, kitchen stocked with any pot, pan or utensil you may need! Big table for all of the family to sit together for meals. Two seating area's to hang out in. But, the BEST part of the cabin was the back deck. We enjoyed sitting on the deck grilling and taking in the scenic views. Hot tub was great too! The only drawback was Internet was spotty...but like I told my husband...we are on vacation!!! I highly recommend this cabin!!

Beautiful views and very spacious

The property managers kept things very organized. Fully furnished all things you could possibly need. They even had things for our 2 year old such as a crib, high chair, and toys. Family friendly! The teens enjoyed the loft very much. Was pretty disappointed in the housekeepers/cleaning people. There were quite a few cobwebs, floors were not swept well nor were rugs vacuumed and the dusting was not done. The view of the smokies is gorgeous! Internet doesn't work, but we didn't mind having an "unplugged" vacation.

Awesome 3 Generation Vacation

We enjoyed the most wonderful vacation gathering of three generations of our family from two states for a week in the Rocky Top Lodge. There was more than enough room for nine of us, a magnificent view of the Smoky Mountains, and close proximity to two different entrances to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The Lodge is very well stocked with all the amenities that we needed and is just a short drive to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg for those who wanted to experience those communities. We also did a day trip to Asheville, NC -- a short 2-hour drive. Peggy was wonderful to work with and was super responsive to our questions. Would we stay here again? One word: Absolutely!!! Thanks, Peggy and Rodger, for allowing us to share the experience of the Rocky Top Lodge!

Beautiful and spacious cabin with a breathtaking view!

My family had a wonderful time staying at Rocky Top Lodge for Thanksgiving. My children and grandchildren traveled from all over the country to be together, and this cabin was perfect. Very spacious and full of all of the amenities of a home (toys and movies for the grandchildren, pots and pans, dishes, cutlery, washer/dryer, just to name a few). The only reason I did not give this cabin 5 stars is because we brought steaks to grill, but discovered that the grill was rusted over andnot working (it’s a gas grill that is connected to the cabin’s gas line. The gas line between the two was disconnected). Other than that, this cabin is great! Perfect for large families. Highly recommend!

After visiting dozens of cabins and properties, we new Rocky Top was the one we wanted the minute we walked through the front door. As we walked through the front door, the beauty of the mountains came bursting through the glass wall on the opposite side of the room. The view was breath taking. Immediately, my wife said, 'this is the one!' It is truly the Crown on top of the mountain. You can touch the stars on a bright clear night and see dozens of mountains on a clear day. It is truly a Million Dollar View....

BTW, Have your groceries delivered prior to your check-in...anything you might need. This is less than 2 miles from our lodge.
