We are a group of 9 friends that had wonderful 4 days at Jill and Kurt's place. The place is matching exactly as description. The view is stunning. It is close to (about 15 mins) Townsend town center, which has grocery store, restaurants and tubing. We truly enjoyed the stay. Highly recommended.

There were a total of 10 people in my group and we had more than enough room. The main bedroom and bathroom are huge and everyone commented on the comfortable beds! The views spectacular and the special touches like s’mores supplies and firewood for roasting marshmallows were such a nice touch. Everything was well stocked even the apartment above garage. Nicely done!

The property is beautiful and spacious. The view from the patio is simply amazing. We spent every morning and evening on the patio watching sunrise and sunset. Owner is very responsive to our questions and inquiries. We really enjoyed our time there.

This was a wonderful place. We used the weight room on several occasions. Hot tub was great. View AMAZING. Plenty of space for our group of 10.

We visited with 4 adults and 7 kids. The views were amazing and the property was well cared for and well stocked. The kids particularly loved the basketball court and climbing wall out front as well as the fire pit and hot tub. It was perfect for our stay and we would 100 percent recommend this property!

Beautiful cabin, secluded yet close to many things! (The best of both worlds) Kurt was a great host and the cabin met all of our expectations. Kids had so much fun in the game room and plenty of room for everyone to relax upstairs! Thank you again!!

The view was beyond amazing and we loved staying outside the hustle of Gatlinburg. Our teens loved the video game room and we spent several nights around tbe fire pit and even saw a baby bear walking along the driveway. Will definitely stay here again

Excellent stay with the best views of Smoky Mountains

We stayed over the Fourth of July and the house was a perfect place for our family to relax and play. We were able to enjoy tubing, waterfall hikes, the Cades Cove Loop biking, fishing and more. The house was very clean and had a lot of games. We loved the Dancing Bear cafe restaurant nearby. This was the perfect location for our vacation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bear's Den! The cabin was fully stocked and was spacious for our family. The views were spectacular and we were visited by the local wildlife! The hosts also surprised us with an apple pie the day we arrived! We will definitely have this on the list to stay in the future.

Perfect weekend

We love this place. Stayed here twice and love bringing friends and family. Everything on the listing is 100 percent accurate. The views are immaculate and the home is spotless.

Beautiful homeThis kitchen was well stocked with anything you would need to cook family meals during your stay. And plenty of counter space on the island. The s’mores kit and other snacks left for us was nice. Host was responsive and helpful First time staying in Townsend; Enjoyed the peacefulness of this side of the Smokies.

We have been coming to the Smokies for over 30 years. Have been there at least 25 times. We always stay in Townsend, Tennessee, the Peaceful Side! Of all the places we have stayed, this was the best! Awesome accommodations! The view from the back is incomparable! Absolutely beautiful! Couldn’t get any better! Our family loved it! Will definitely return!

We had an amazing time staying here. Very clean, lots to do and so spacious! Jill and Kurt took great care of us. You won’t regret booking here. We spent Thanksgiving in this lovely cabin and it was exactly what our family needed. A wonderful place to stay.
