Spacious and bright apartment in historic Málaga

Sunny Cervantes is a beautiful apartment located in a quiet neighborhood in the historic center of Málaga. It is south west facing and located on the 4th floor (with elevator) so almost the whole day you can enjoy the incoming sun and in the evenings you get a wonderful sunset for free!

The apartment has a beautiful and spacious living room with an open view of the cathedral. 3 large windows with the typical balconies ensure that during the whole day lot's of light is coming in.
Air conditioning, TV and wireless Internet are available.

The apartment has two double bedrooms with spacious wardrobes.

The bathroom has a spacious rain shower, sink and toilet.
Sheets and towels are provided.

There is also a fully equipped kitchen with dining area and dishwasher and washing machine, large refrigerator with freezer, stove, microwave and oven.

The apartment is located between Plaza de la Merced (where Picasso's birthplace is located) and Teatro Cervantes. The Picasso Museum, the Alcazaba with Roman Theatre, the famous Calle Larios (shopping paradise) and the completely renovated port with walking promenade are all within walking distance. Also the beach is accessible on foot (15 min walk).

Málaga is a charming city where the sun shines almost the entire year. Many small bars and restaurants invite you to enjoy the famous tapas and other delicacies from the Mediterranean cuisine.

The city center can easily be explored on foot. And there are also several places where you can rent bikes.

Málaga city center is easily accessible from the airport.

Unique to this apartment is the perfect location in the historic center and the spacious and bright living room with an open view of the city.

Perfect place to stay in Malaga

Beautiful, very authentic flat located right in the centre 2 minutes from la Plaza de la Merced. It was in perfect condition and very clean when we arrived. 10/10 recommend for a trip to Malaga.

Beautiful apartment in the historic district

We really appreciated this apartment. The location was perfect for strolling around the historic district. The apartment was very clean and appropriately furnished! It was perfect for our time in Malaga, and I would want to stay here again if we come back!

A perfect place to stay

As other reviewers have said, this apartment is much more spacious than it seems. Very well equipped, wonderfully located, and truly felt like a home away from home. The walk to the beach feels much shorter than it looks on the map! As of our stay, there was construction across the street, but it was only noisy during the day and didn't take away from our wonderful experience here!

Probably the Best Ever

This place is so perfect. It's spacious, has a view, is so very comfortable, clean, and the kitchen is the best equipped we've ever rented. Located on a quiet street but within easy walking distance of all of old town museums and sites. The guidebook they have in the apartment is wonderful, with lots of ideas of places to visit and a very good section on the history of the area. Dorien was always responsive to our questions and so helpful before and during our trip. We would certainly come back here again!.

January in Malaga

A very comfortable apartment centrally located in a quiet street. Escaping icy conditions in England to spend two weeks enjoying sunshine in a "home from home" was a joy. The flat is spacious and has everything you need whether you decide to eat at home or go to one of the dozens of restaurants nearby. We were sorry to leave.

The apartment is in a great place close to everything

It is a quaint older apartment with a lot of windows. The kitchen china needs to be replaced as they are cracked. The bottom rack of dishwasher is rusted. The temperature knobs of oven are unreadable.

Good Apartment in a Great Location

Except for the construction which will continue for another year, this is a great apartment. Convenient to both the tourist attractions and real life necessities like the Mercado. We stayed three weeks. We particularly enjoyed the theatre being just around the corner. We heard an excellent performance there. Also, the cherry ice cream at the neighborhood ice cream shop is spectacular. We had it every day. The only drawback was at check in. You have to go to another location to obtain the key from a lockbox. Not at all easy when you are coming from far away with a lot of luggage and don’t know the area.

Beware of the location for any VRBO rentals

Most things were OK with the apartment. Unfortunately with the VRBO system one does not know the exact location of the apartment before the full payment is made. Too bad for us there was a major construction site right across the street with work being done from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Piling, construction equipment, diggers and heavy trucks. For the first 3 weeks we had to get out of the apartment as early as possible. The noise was unbearable. It caused a lot of dust in the apartment. In the future we will look to a different way to rent an apartment. Construction will likely last for 6 to 12 more months.

Eine wunderschöne Ferienwohnung in der historischen Altstadt von Málaga.Die Wohnung ist großzügig geschnitten, verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer, leider ohne Fenster, aber mit Deckenventilatoren, sowie ein ausreichend großes Wohnzimmer in der sich auch die Klimaanlage befindet.Auch das Bad ist für vier Personen völlig ausreichend und die Küche mit Esstisch bestens für den Selbstbedarf ausgestattet – alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden.Die Abholung des Hausturschlüssels, 5min zu Fuß entfernt, ist ein wenig umständlich mit Koffern. Hat aber direkt geklappt.Die Lage ist hervorragend: In direkter Umgebung befinden sich zahlreiche Restaurants, Bars und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.Der Strand von La Malagueta ist fußläufig gut erreichbar, ebenso wie Bus- und Bahnverbindungen.Eine perfekte Unterkunft, um Málaga in vollen Zügen zu genießen!

Bel appartement!

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cet appartement. Il est très propre et vraiment conforme aux photographies. Comme nous y avons passé un mois, il est vraiment bien équipé pour la cuisine. La salle de bain est moderne et spacieuse. Nous avons aimé le caractère ancien de cet appartement et la vue est superbe. Il est situé dans la partie touristique de Malaga, il est donc près de tout et à environ 15 minutes de la plage. Plusieurs bons restaurants sont situés tout près. Il est par contre, au quatrième étage sans ascenseur, mais ça garde en forme! Il est très facile de communiquer avec les propriétaires et nous les en remercions!

Lovely apartment in great location with amazing view

Dorien picked us up from Malaga airport which was great as she could tell us about the city on the way. The apartment is right in the centre of the old city, in a lovely traditional Street. Beware it is up 80 steps, so you need to be quite fit. But it means you get amazing views of the cathedral tower, across the old city and the mountains in the background. Apparently there are plans to put in a lift at some point in the future. But don't let the stairs put you off it is worth it. The beds are really comfortable and the apartment was completely spotless when we arrived. There was everything in the kitchen that you would want. It had a great shower and huge bathroom. There is air-conditioning in the lounge which also blows out some hot air, which we needed in the evenings. The lounge has three huge windows and a small balcony so you can stand out and watch the street. It is a really sunny lounge. If you come out of the building and turn left in 2 minutes you are in a great square with some really nice cafes and bars. You can walk to the port and beach in about 15 minutes. If you walk around behind the apartment there is a great Tapas bar on the corner beside the theatre, which does really nice food and wine. We would definitely come back to this apartment and have another break in Malaga. It is a lovely city and the people are really friendly we would definitely recommend it.

Excellent location and wonderful view

We stayed at Dorien's and Wim's place for 4 nights in November and definitley recommend staying there. The apartment is bright and spacious and has everything we needed, e.g. a well equipped kitchen, air condition/ a heater, comfortable beds etcetera. It is located close to restaurants, cafés and museums. We enjoyed especially the beautiful view over Malaga's roofs!

Apartamento muy acogedor en pleno centro

Nos encantó estar un par de noches en este apartamento en el centro de Málaga. Dueño belga muy simpático y merece la pena subir los 4 pisos hasta llegar a la vivienda. Vistas preciosas de la catedral, Mobiliario nuevo e ideal también si vas con familia. Ojo con aparcar en la puerta porque aunque sea por unos minutos te pueden multar. El garaje que te ofrecen a uno s 10 minutos es también perfecto.

Great apartment

The apartment is great, exactly as seen on the pictures, very well refurbished and equiped. Location is perfect to visit Malaga and around. 4th floor without elevator but a good view on the Cathedral and Alcazaba.
