The Norman house called "Prés Saint Just" is located at the edge of the river "la Charentonne" and has a surface of 120 m2. It consists of 3 bedrooms, a living room, a living room, a kitchen and two bathrooms. There are 6 beds in all. The Retreat

A fine house in an idyllic setting. A great base to return to during our motorcycling holiday. Secluded with fine views and a great patio / barbecue area. Agent was on site upon our arrival and prompt for our departure and key hand over. Excellent break and would highly recommend. Young children would require close supervision due to steep to garden from the patio area.

The Quintessential French Country House

Absolutely spendid! If you want to enjoy peace and quiet and want a spot to start your exploration of Normandy, this is the place. It is a perfect blend of rustic and comfort. The views are amazing. The town of Broglie has all you need and the people are charming. The house, while rustic and old, has everything you need and is very comfortable. We cooked and enjoyed meals looking at the river and valley. We will stay here again!

Excellent property

The house was sublime- so peaceful. Two showers is ideal when holidays involve two teenagers. Certainly didn’t need the fire but I’m sure it’s cosy in the colder months. Perfect garden for BBQ and evening relaxing. The river is a bonus especially if you like a morning paddle. We went to Paris for the day- easily done from this property. Plenty of shops nearby. We went to the Lidl and intermarche in Bernay. A super holiday in a fantastic house. Au revoir - merci beaucoup

Normandisch huisje

Zeer mooi gelegen Normandisch huisje. Schitterend voor wie van de rust en de natuur houdt. Mooie wandelingen mogelijk in de omgeving. Voor ons was ons verblijf ook een goede uitvalsbasis om de regio te bezoeken. De woning zelf is goed ingericht met alles wat je nodig hebt om het verblijf aangenaam te maken. Dankzij het schitterend weer was het aangenaam vertoeven op het terras buiten met zicht op de rivier. Het onthaal en afscheid waren hartelijk. Het sanitair boven is verouderd en de schoonmaak kan nauwkeuriger.

Normandie erleben

Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub. Das Haus war angenehm und der Garten mit Blick wunderbar. Die Kinder konnten unten am Wasser bauen, plantschen und mit dem Boot in unserem Uferbereich fahren . Das Haus war wie beschrieben, etwas abgewohnt aber daher im Preis Leistung Verhältnis angemessen . Kontakt mit Vermieter sehr hilfreich, organisiert und nett. Guter Standort für Unternehmungen ans Meer, Schlösser und Städtchen. Franzosen waren super nett.

Charming French country cottage

Pres Saint Just is a cozy getaway. Set on a hill overlooking a pretty French farm and small river, the cottage is perfect for a private family getaway. Rustic in a sense, yet has all the comforts of home. Just outside the village of Broglie with a few excellent restaurants, Lidl grocery store, and very near Gare d'Bernay and train service to Paris.

Rustic comfort in a stunning location.

The house is beautiful and well appointed. It is rustic but very comfortable and the owner has thought about all the things you might need. The views are breathtaking and we couldn’t believe that the beautiful river ran through the bottom of the garden. If you are looking for peace and relaxation in a charming character house, you will be very happy here.

Belle maison dans un beau cadre et un jardin en pente proche d’une belle rivière. En revanche, déception que la maison soit si proche de la route. Beaucoup d’informations du propriétaire mais ayant l’habitude d’autres sites de locations, plusieurs petits bémols qui gâchent un peu le séjour : contrat de 5 pages à signer en arrivant, relève du compteur eletrique à l’arrivée et au départ, arrivée à partir de 18h, bibliothèque fournie mais fermée à clé...

Tolles Haus mit traumhaften Garten

Wir hatten zwei sehr entspannte Wochen in Broglie, in einem tollen alten Bauernhaus. Wir haben die Ruhe sehr genossen und die Terrasse mit zugehörigem Garten ist einfach traumhaft. Der Vermieter und der Verwalter sind super nett und zuvorkommend. Die Infrastruktur im Ort ist auch völlig ok. Es gibt einen kleinen Lidl, der 6 Tage die Woche offen ist, 3 min. mit der Auto entfernt. Französisch Kenntnisse wären aber sicherlich hilfreich.

Mooie, gezellige woning

De woning is mooi gebouwd en comfortabel ingericht en de ligging is prachtig. Fantastisch uitzicht vanaf het terras op groen, weide en een riviertje in het dal. Rustig gelegen, aan de voorzijde een weg, deze is niet heel druk en niet zichtbaar vanaf de woning. Wij verbleven er met 1 volwassene en 4 (grote) kinderen in de leeftijd van 18-24 jaar. In de directe omgeving is niet zoveel te doen, maar als je rust zoekt en van wandelen/fietsen houdt is het prima vertoeven. Voor kleine kinderen minder geschikt, aan de rand van het terras loopt de grond steil af naar beneden.

schönes uriges Ruhedomizil

es war ein schöne Zeit in dem gut ausgestattetem Haus. Erhoing und Ruhezeit sind hier gewiss. Wir wurden herzlich Willkomen geheißen und alles gut erklärt und informiert. In der Gegend kann man schöne Rad- oder Wandertouren machen. bernay der markt ist echt lohnenswert für regionale Zutaten. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen.

Charming Normandy cottage in a great location

My wife and I spent a lovely week at Pres Saint Just, a delightful authentic Normandy farmhouse/cottage on a small bluff above the Charentonne River. The cottage is rustic but very comfortable and comes fully equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The owner, M. Ducarre, and the nearby caretaker, M. Filet, were attentive and responsive and quickly resolved any questions we had. The location really could not be better: overlooking and bordering the Charentonne, with sheep grazing in the meadows across the river, with a wonderful patio to relax on in the evening. We were pleasantly surprised to find the village of Broglie to have more going on than we initially envisioned, and we were regular patrons of the boulangerie (great croissants), also visiting the in-town boucherie and its very friendly proprietor. We also loved nearby Bernay with its half-timbered houses, many restaurants, and street market. All in all, highly recommended if you're looking for a peaceful stay in the country but still want to be just a short drive from a variety of amenities. Be sure to visit the lovely water garden along the Charentonne in Broglie.
