We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property in Whitstable. The location is perfect, with everything the town has to offer just a short, mostly flat walk away, making it easy to explore the seafront, shops, and restaurants. The property itself was immaculate, very well maintained, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. We couldn't have asked for more and would not hesitate to recommend it to others. We will certainly be checking availability here first the next time we visit Whitstable.

Convenient on foot to the station, comfortable, very well equipped house with a small private garden in a quiet street ten minutes walk to the high street and harbour, with shops close by. Good kitchen/diner and separate living room and two spacious airy bedrooms. The only fault we found with this property is that having only roller blinds and no curtains we woke early with the light. We would definitely book it again.

We were very happy with the "Little Pearl" for our holiday in Whitstable. The property was nicely furnished with comfortable beds, attractive artwork on the walls and plenty of equipment in the kitchen. We made frequent use of the small and tidy back garden which also had good outdoor furniture, much of which appeared to be new. The slightly unusual way that the taps work for the bath/shower fooled us once or twice but is fine once you're used to it. I can only think of one minor change that might improve things. The welcome book could be usefully expanded with more comprehensive instructions for things like recycling and some details of attractions in Whitstable and further afield in Kent. Maybe a town plan, too, but we have no complaints!

Perfect Little Pearl!

Great house for a long weekend, or longer. The garden is a sheltered sun trap which, with the vibrant scented lilac, make it hard to leave! Visited with friends (3 of us) and it was the perfect place - cosy, clean and bright. Will definitely book again!

Very comfortable house with all you need for a relaxing stay. The house was lovely and clean on arrival, we were even allowed in early meaning we extended our stay!It is cose to all amenities so the car is not essential, loads of shops pubs and restaurants within a short stroll and only 10 mins walk from the harbour and seaThe garden is a little sun trap and there was comfy garden furniture to sit out and enjoy a glass or two.Lots of books, games and DVDs if you have young ones with youSara was very quick to respond to messages and was very helpful, such a wonderful host. Highly recommend if you want to stay in this area and wouldn't hesitate to come back again.

A very well equipped house, comfortable and warm, with the bonus of parking. We stay in Whitstable often, but never in this area which was interesting, we didn't know about the stream walks. It's a 10-12 minute walk to the harbour and the main restaurants at the bottom of town, which was fine, and it was very quiet walking in and out at night. A faint drawback: the double bed is in fact two singles - and comfortable, but there is a bit of a chasm between the two. An enjoyable week of better weather than it first seemed, spent some time in the sunny garden, which would be great in the summer.

Many thanks for your review. The split king size bed (150cm x 200cm) with 2 orthopaedic memory mattresses have the option of reclining top and bottom. I do hope you found the controls at the head of the bed. I’m sorry you found the separate mattresses not working for you. I’m pleased you hear you had a good visit to Whitstable and the weather was better than forecast. Kind regards Sara

Second home, two extra stars for Sara :-)We (family of 5) stayed three weeks and felt really at home. The little pearl is outstandingly equipped, absolutely tidy, offers enough space for everyone, comfortable beds, a good shower, generous room for clothing, and a nice garden - we didn't miss a thing. Extra remarkable is the host, Sara, who answered every question promptly and friendly and who even put on some extra effort trying to help us to get back two bags we lost on the train. We can also highly recommend Whitstable itself - nice little town with small and individual shops. You can go to the beach (Tankerton is not far and even nicer) or do some bicycle trips to Herne Bay/Reculver or Canterbury. Whtistable is also an ideal starting point for tours (e.g. by train) to Margate/Ramsgate and Dover or to Leeds Castle. We would always choose the little pearl again - thank you, Sara!
