A lot of thought was put in to the details to make your stay as comfortable as possible, with plush towels and all the beds have duvet covers ( comforter covers) that are washed after each guest to ensure cleanliness for your peace of mind. The kitchen is well stocked with beautiful pots and pans, dishware, glassware, spices, kitchen utensils and most everything one would need to cook any meal at home. If you are not a cook, you only have to walk out your door and down the road to dine at the many wonderful restaurants in Truckee, and you won't have to worry about a long ride home, in fact, you could even walk home! If you like to take walks there is a wonderful trail called "The Legacy Trail" which begins just one block down the road, at the entrance to the community park. You can walk along the river for miles, or even ride your bikes. Bikes can also be rented for a small fee with your credit card near the train station during the summer months. There is also a bike rental shop just next door to our residences that even offer electric bikes. There is a wonderful recreation area just up the road called Sawtooth Recreation Area where you can mountain bike and hike to your hearts desire!
The two gas burning fireplaces add warmth and ambience to your home away from home. During the ski season, we are conveniently located just 10 to 15 minutes from all the best ski resorts, Northstar, Squaw Valley, Sugar Bowl ,and Alpine Meadows .Take advantage of our background in the hospitality industry as hotel managers in some of the best hotels and resorts, in order to rest assured that your stay will be comfortable. Free wifi, and Cable TV. The home is comfortable, conveniently located, clean and decorated thoughtfully and tastefully. Please read some of our past reviews from our happy guests! I try to accommodate my guests in every way in order to make their stay memorable, and inspire them to come back. I am usually very flexible on early check-ins and late check-outs at no additional cost, as long as there is no one else before or after your stay, which is often the case. In addition, regarding cancellations, given our current weather conditions during the winter months when the highway makes it impossible to pass and shuts down, you can rest assured you will not be charged for the days you can not make it through the pass.
