Come to Dunnellon in Citrus County and enjoy fishing or Kayaking the scenic Withlacoochee River with its majestic lives oaks, Spanish moss and Cypress trees. The natural setting and wildlife of this lazy river is ideal for fishing, kayaking and relaxing with the slow pace life style. The Rainbow River is accessible by water from your own boat dock. Also, a few miles down river is famous Lake Rousseau, the 'Bass Fishing Capital'. The combination of these two great rivers and Lake Rousseau provide unlimited opportunities. Enjoy: fishing, boating, kayaking, picnicking, tubing, snorkeling, swimming, and the making of some great memories.

You will feel the old Florida charm in this newly remodeled 3/2 home with tin roof. Wait until you see the large kitchen with new maple cabinets, tile floor, and beautiful granite counter tops. Kitchen has dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker and range.

The spacious living room features hardwood floors and beautiful wood panel Florida room with french doors, and a smart TV. This room has a nice view of the backyard and river. It provides a wonderful space to entertain or just relax.

The second bedroom has a queen size bed. The third bedroom has two twin beds. Guest bathroom has a large tile shower, bench seat and a handrail. The 60' granite vanity top provides plenty of space for all of your personal belongings.

The Master Suite has hardwood floors, a queen size bed and a half wall loft that overlooks the master suite. This upscale master suite has it all. A cherry mantle over a wood burning fireplace and smart tv, blue-ray DVD, 5 disk CD player with Sony surround sound. All of this in combination with the private bathroom which features a large mirrored granite top vanity, rain shower and whirlpool Jacuzzi tub. The bay window showcases the courtyard and view of the river. The blend of cherrywood is exquisitely done and enhances this relaxing spacious master suite. There is also a stackable washer and dryer. A screen porch with two ceiling fans offers a relaxing outdoor environment. Wifi is provided.

Old Florida stone columns outline the large open air carport. The walkway wraps around to the backyard which has a stone pavers courtyard complete with a wood burning fire pit and charcoal grill. The stone paver walkway weaves its way to the boat dock. The courtyard is perfect for a BBQ cookout, entertaining guests or just relaxing and watching the river flow by.

The boat ramp is just around the corner and the dock even has a fish cleaning table. So bring your boat, or rent one from the 'Blue Gator' and come on down to enjoy Florida's most outstanding bass fishing.

This home was an ideal location for our adult children that visited during the holidays. It had plenty of space, was very comfortable and the location cannot be beat. The views are beautiful and we would absolutely choose this location to accommodate our visitors in the future. Highly recommend.

Loved the setting, the houseā€¦ used the firepit nightly after fishing- a perfect combination! Appreciated the nice dock with electric dockside for recharging boat batteries nightly. Also easy to launch kayaks! Our family met to celebrate TG / Christmas togetherā€¦ Definitely made use of the kitchen! Plenty of space for everyone ( 5 adults). Could have housed more with the expansive living room & family room. An abundance of water birds, squirrels, and turtles visited the yard daily- coming from frigid Ohio, this was such a great change. The mature trees added such a relaxing Florida feel.
Looking back to the house from the ample dock.
Romancing turtles ( there were 2) met up in the side yard to visit.
A warm fire after a full day on the water.

We had a relaxing time at this beautiful property. The home is fully stocked with all we needed, and was very comfortable. The dock and river bank is so peaceful with both sunset and sunrise views over the river.

Very comfortable

The fishing was not so great. There was a lot of Lily pads and the boats were in the way other than that. It was a very relaxing comfortable place period I would definitely stay here again. The owner is very nice.

Wonderful!

This is a beautiful home with everything you need. Sleep well in one of the comfortable beds. Wake up with a river view and a cup of coffee on the backyard swing. Cook a meal in the fully stocked kitchen or go out to eat in nearby Dunnellon. Wrap up your day with a fire in the firepit or the fireplace (firewood was supplied by the host), or just relax in the spacious Florida room with lots of comfortable seating. There is lots of space in this home, lots of places to sit, lovely views, abundant wildlife...and it's close enough to town to just run out and get what you're missing. Rudy was very easy to communicate with and accommodated all of our needs. Thanks, Rudy!

Beautiful View

We absolutely loved our stay at the River House. The view of the River is just beautiful. It was so relaxing and peaceful. We spent most of our time either sitting on the back porch watching the water go by or fishing on the dock. We were able to catch a couple bass too. The neighborhood is very quiet. We brought our bikes and road around the neighborhood. I accidently left my glasses behind when we left to go home and the owner let me know immediately. He was a pleasure to talk to and very helpful in getting them back to me. The home is equipped with everything that you would need for a lovely stay. It was the getaway that we needed. We can't wait to go back!

2nd Stay home away from home

This was our second time staying with Rudy. 2 years apart. The house had everything you could possibly need. The beds were comfortable, better than a hotel šŸ˜‚. The tub was amazing after being on the water all day.. The nature was incredible too. I hope to be able to spend another week there in another 2 years. Thank you Rudy!!

River House

Just got home from a long weekend at the River House. Had a great time and house did not disappoint. Great location! Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy watching the Withlacoochee River flow by. Worked out great with a dock for the boat and for the kids to fish on all day. Rudy made it nice and easy. Highly recommend this place.

Beautiful Nature Experience

My husband and I stayed 12 days at Rudy's River House and had a wonderful time. The house is spacious furnished and supplied great. The scenery is beautiful and there is lots of water foul. The resident Sandhill Cranes were a daily visitor. All in all it is a great place with a great host.

Husband and I needed a low key, relaxing vacay and thatā€™s exactly what we had! The home was comfortable and clean. The furnishings, including the master bed, was particularly comfortable. Each morning began with visits from sandhill cranes and coffee in the backyard watching the river. We brought our pontoon boat and was pleased to have the launch very close and the private dock to tie up to all week. Although we did bring fishing equipment, we didnā€™t use it all. Instead, we just cruised for hours enjoying the birdwatching and relaxing. Definitely a favorite VRBO.

Immaculate River Front Home

This property is so beautiful -like a Florida post card, right on the river, with a spacious lawn, fire-pit and dock. The interior is spotless, offering every comfort and amenity, 3 big screen tvs - 2 with theatre seating. Carport made loading and unloading very convenient. The main bedroom has a great mattress, we slept so well. Quiet, safe neighborhood.

Quality Family Time

This rental is on a large lot, beautifully landscaped with a circular driveway providing ample room for a boat trailer and several cars. There are two different common areas and a sitting room off of the master bedroom that allow guests to engage in different activities. We enjoyed playing chess, cards, board games, and completed a jig saw puzzle - all provided by our host. We conveniently moored our boat on the private dock, cast out fishing lines, grilled and enjoyed watching the birds from the back porch swing. The host responded quickly to all messages and provided all the essentials we needed for a relaxing stay. Absolutely recommend this rental.

What a wonderful stay!

This house was WELL stocked with everything you would need. Very clean and well designed for family living. We love looking at all the memorabilia. Nice trip down memory lane. Fishing off the dock was fun, although they were not biting my dough balls, must get better bait next time. Easy Kayak launch and parking for a rented motor boat from Blue Gators, up the river. Loved listening to and watching all the wild life. Beautiful sunsets too! What a wonderful Vacation home, so peaceful and close to everything. We highly recommend this home, and hopefully will return again! AAA++++ ALL the Way
