Beautiful, two story villa with four bedrooms and only 300 meters to the beach in prestigious gated community conveniently located between Sosua and Cabarete.

Very large area of construction and nice pool area and garden.

When entering the villa you are met by a grand hallway with an impressive staircase. This level is open plan, fitted kitchen and a great living/dining area for entertaining your family and friends.

Each of the four bedrooms has a separate entrance and en-suite bathroom, with private terraces on the first floor .

There is a very private master suite ( 2,500 sf) with great master bathroom on the second floor. All bedrooms are air-conditioned.

The pool area and divinely landscaped garden defines this property as a Gem in a tropical oasis.
All in all, a lovely property, perfect as a full time residence, vacation retreat.

This is definitely a must see home to appreciate its methodical laid out design.

Kitchen must be left clean and organized on Check-Out Day. Trash must go outside in main bins by parking.

Great private getaway

Located in a very secure gated community, security guards located throughout the community complex. There is a beach restaurant that was a five minute walk from the villa - very nice, staff there were great. The villa itself is beautiful, there were a few very minor things that could be addressed but they did not change how our vacation went; lots of lush mature palm trees and shrubs all around the pool area, making it very private and peaceful. The young gentleman cleaning the pool came Monday to Friday - very pleasant and helpful and there were two women that came once a week to tidy up and change the linen. We had a wonderful 3 weeks in the sun, and have now returned to our winter in Canada. Looking forward to next years vacation in the sun

Great and amazing get away

Joel was a great option.... He took us to some great spots nearby (water falls, cliff jumping, sliding), boat rental for snorkeling. And local sea food. Had a nice bus to fit us and all and our gear. Seahorse Ranch offered many options as well. So didn't have to go far. People super nice. And top security, so safety was never a factor. Highly recommend!!

Great place to relax at Sea Horse Ranch!

Six of us came to stay here for a couple weeks over Christmas/New Years and we had a great time. Sea Horse Ranch is an exclusive development between Sosua and Cabarete and managed very well. The security at Sea Horse Ranch is so secure that it rivals most military bases - coming from a veteran. We all went on several 1.5 hr horse rides on the beach and through the jungle provided by the Sea Horse Ranch Equestrian Center for $45 USD each. My niece received 5 - thirty minute lessons on horse jumping for ~ $55 USD total. 3 or 4 private beaches on the property and are among the most beautiful in the DR - all for your private use. Even on the holidays, only saw a couple other people on the beach. The home was as advertised - aircon worked great in all of the rooms. Maids showed up every couple days, gardener and pool maintenance every day. Appliances all worked but the stove & bbq need to have igniters replaced. Nice patio next to the pool to relax in. Beautifully landscaped area around the pool - a piece of paradise! I recommend you come for your own Sea Horse Ranch experience!

Sea Horse Ranch and this particular property is beautiful. The private beach is great, the restaurant and staff was nothing but amazing, and everyone who works on the estate is welcoming and friendly. Anna and Chris (housekeepers) were amazing. Alex the owner was RIGID and unreasonable about visitors. We did have a few disappointing complications that could have been handled in a more accommodating way. I came there with a group of professionals to include an engineer, an attorney, a therapist, and retired military totaling 5 people. Majority of the group never been to Dominican Republic before. Prior to arriving Alex made sure that our group agreed to not have "escorts" brought to the property, we agreed. However, we did not agree to not have any company of the opposite sex. It was offensive that any guess who was not the same sex was denied access and assumed to be an escort. This practice is sexist and offensive. If everyone needed to be approved then perhaps we could have understood but this was not the case. Also we were not informed that regular toilet tissue should not be flushed which later caused problems, the toilet over flooded. Anna to the rescue, she fixed the issue as best she could. Looking forward, I believe that Alex have good intentions. He wants to protect the exclusivity of Sea Horse Ranch which I respect. I believe that both could have happened if he was open.

Two families - 9 people (4 adults, 5 kids)

Overall a nice house and we had a great time. Super cool pool, cleaned every few days. A few things to note: - The listing says it sleeps 12, if there are 2 people in most beds that's true but there are 7 beds, 1 single & 1 odd sized that isn't a single but was good for our toddler. Worked great for our group, our kids didn't have to double up. Something to keep in mind. - Alex as the property manager was very communicative, can always get a hold of him. Helped arranged contact to a driver. Mostly helped with logistics, learned to research our own activities and what to do as he didn't offer much in that way like a concierge. Helped to arrange dinner prepared in the house by Ani and her family - they are WONDERFUL! Highly recommend in house prepared dinners - delicious and they clean up! - Cleanliness was good, not great. I went to put my toiletries on the middle shelves in our bathroom and they were filthy, I cleaned it off myself and it was clear it hadn't been wiped in a long time. Closets were all a little dingy so I wiped down shelves myself. Sheets and towels were clean but worn down (more below). Not terrible by any means but just fine. - AC only in bedrooms (to be expected) - keep the doors shut during the day, though we turned the AC off during the day it still stayed cool. - Not a negative but nice to know, most houses in the DR have windows with screens and wooden shutters - no glass. This makes sense with the humidity but lots of outside noises when sleeping, we simply weren't used to it. - For a high end property the sheets and towels were kind of run down and mismatched, we never had enough towels. We booked for 9 people but only had 4 beach towels set out. Seems like a pesky thing to review but it was kind of a pain. Beach towels weren't the size of a regular beach towel, many were random bath towels. Fine for kids but not adults. And not enough bath towels in the bathroom. Oddly, the towels were a thing. - Kitchen is nice but not all cabinets close and again, clean-ish but not sparkling. Not sure if sparkling is a fair expectation but I keep my kitchen cleaner. May be a difference in preference, I like a really clean kitchen. And we had to buy our own paper products and no cloth alternatives (napkins and paper towels). No glass by the pool (makes sense) but there weren't any plastic dishes? Overall gave is a 4 because the cleanliness and rooms (sheets, towels) were good but not great for a high end property.

Seahorse House

It was a great stay overall. The only issue we had was that there is only on TV in the entire house. As the one in the master suite is smaller than a laptop and it didn’t work. The house has a total of 4 bedrooms and for a property like this, which is located in the most exclusive neighborhood of Cabarete-Sosua you expect for each guess to be able to watch their own TV. The beds are Ok , in the front room the mattresses should be replaced. They are hard as a rock. Couldn’t sleep at all. We were 3 guests and one night had to stay in that room as the A/C brakers in the other rooms had been turned off by an electrical fault and didn’t want to contact host as it was passed 9pm. I think the house needs a bit of maintenance. But otherwise is a great stay. Thank Alex you were always available!

Nice Family Getaway

Alex made the experience of staying at the property very enjoyable and was helpful with coordinating resources like transportation, a cook for meals when we did not want to go out, cleaning, etc. Very helpful! The property is quite large and can easily handle our family of 8. AC units worked in all the bedrooms which in the summer is a must. The pool was well maintained as well as the rest of the property. It is centrally located within Sea Horse Ranch and an easy walk to the beach, communal pools, restaurant, tennis, horseback riding, etc. Overall an good property to rent for a larger family looking for some R&R. I would recommend.

Great pool and great house. Very loungy which is what we were looking for.

There is a great clubhouse for dinner and cocktails as part of the community, plus a quaint beach within walking. Tennis and horses in the property as well.

Sea Horse Ranch is a wonderful location in the DR

This house is in great condition and is very large, perfect for a big family or friends group. The pool is lovely and perfect to spend the day at. Sea Horse Ranch is a very safe and gorgeous community and their restaurant, The Beach Club has the best food in town. Alex, the manager is lovely and very helpful. I would highly recommend this rental.

Beautiful villa!

We had a wonderful vacation at Sea Horse Ranch! Six adults stayed at this beautiful villa for a week and it was perfect. The home is in a beautiful, safe neighborhood, which has a gorgeous, landscaped backyard with a perfect sized pool. In just a short walking distance, you can walk to the beach that has the most amazing views! Sea Horse Ranch is not far from town so you can have a quick trip to the grocery store and get whatever you need. The housekeeper Annie was so cute and friendly and even came to the grocery store with us to help us with our shopping. We did a couple of excursions and they picked us up right at our front door so that was very convenient. Alex was also very helpful and answered all of our questions. I highly recommend this home for your vacation. Melayne

Relaxing, fun-filled getaway

A lovely week was just spent in Sea Horse Ranch. The villa was beautiful, with a private backyard filled with lush tropical plants, palm trees and a beautiful pool. The villa was fully equipped, clean and very roomy for our large group. Meals were enjoyed sitting outside or at nearby restaurants. There are lots of quiet areas for reading, sunning and solitude and lots of spots for shade too, horse stables on the ranch to visit, watching polo or to go riding, tennis, gorgeous views from the cliffs, and more. So much to see and do onsite or at the nearby towns and beaches. Our hosts were terrific and we look forward to returning in the future. Thank you Alex and team for making our holiday special!!!

Awesome holiday vacation at this gorgeous home thanks to Alex and Juana!

We were lucky enough to have a 9 day vacation in the northern part of the Dominican Republic. Everything was made easy for us from the time we arrived until the time we left. Alex was always available for questions and suggestions. Juana and her team kept the house looking so clean every day! We opted to have breakfast and dinner prepared for us which was an amazing treat! We would have just cooked our normal fare. Instead we were treated to lovely Dominican meals prepared by some great chefs! We ate all our meals on the porch (as 2 families of 8). The pool was so lovely and complimented by the lovely landscaping. It was so relaxing. Each bedroom was well accommodated and provided tons of space for both of our families. Wifi worked great for the kiddos when we allowed them to be on their devices! Just a short walk away are the lovely eco-pools, private beach and restaurant for the Sea Horse Ranch neighborhood. That was a wonderful bonus! Food there was yummy and getting a drink by the pool was awesome. I would recommend lounging at the edge of the ocean and reading a nice book. Also nearby, we would recommend Monkey Jungle complete with (monkey preserve) and zip lining. We did both! Also took in Sosua and Cabarete beaches (amazing kite surfing watching). Some of our group went to Ocean World where our daughter was able to be in the dolphin show! I would highly recommend vacationing at this wonderful home. Not only is it beautiful and relaxing but the overall experience is once in a lifetime. Thank you to Alex, Juana and team for making the Henber 2015 vacation a success!

Excellent property

This is a great property, and the top luxury resort in the area. The organization and the sense of security, makes this a perfect spot to spend some quality time with your family and friends. The Villa is in excellent conditions and Alex makes sure that nothing is missing for you to have the perfect vacations. A sure rental next time I have some free time.

Excellent Villa in the best area of DR

I traveled with a group and stay for 2 weeks in this absolutely beautiful Villa in Sea Horse Ranch, the most prestigious Country Club in the area. The Villa is really comfortable, open, with comfortable rooms, common areas, lovely garden and just a few minutes walking to SHR private beach and pools. The Manager was really accesible and nice, organizing everything in order to make our stay perfect. Totally recommended for the best holidays in DR!

This Villa is beautiful and clean and secure!

This Villa is beautiful and clean and secure! Alex and Anni went above and beyond to make this the most memorable trip we've ever had! The Villa itself is amazing, the pool is beautiful and clean at all times. The villa`s security is bar none, I felt 100% safe at all times during the trip. We had amazing breakfast, lunch or dinner and basically anything we requested, truly a luxury! The trips to the grocery store and the money exchange were really appreciated. Alex gave us amazing service, much more than what we expected. I forgot to mention that there is a completely secluded beach about 2 min walk from the house, there is also an insane man-made cave-like pool right beside it but no one was there while we were. Would stay here again in a heart beat!

Host was very friendly and welcoming

Host was very friendly and welcoming, and extremely responsive when issues arose. The house itself is beautiful, right up against the beach. The staff did a fantastic job keeping the house clean. We stayed here with a group of people from work for a workcation, and the internet was quite fast for 1-3 people simultaneously, and still acceptable for 6-7 people. The community is also extremely safe. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to stay here again.
