At the end of a cul-de-sac, this well-furnished semi-detached house offers a quiet and comfortable retreat and stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. A five minute walk will bring you to the beach or the town of Banyuls-Sur-Mer, where you can enjoy local seafood "à la plancha," sample some of the Côte Vermeille's famous wines, or discover a bounty of delectable local fruit and veg at the weekly produce markets.

The house features three terraces, three bedrooms (each on a separate level), and two bathrooms, affording guests a sense of privacy and space. A fully-equipped kitchen, air conditioning, and clothes washer and dryer as well as WiFi throughout make this an ideal base for a culinary or sporty adventure from the Pyrenées to the Mediterranean or simply a home away from home, where you can relax and take in the sun and sea breezes.

This is a completely non-smoking property (i.e., no smoking anywhere, even on the terraces or from any of the windows).

We had a lovely stay in Banyuls-sur-Mer. The location of the house is excellent, away from the noise /traffic but still very close by to the sea, bakery, supermarket etc. The house was nice. The layout is quite quirky but it works for a family of 4. It has everything you need, and i loved that there were plenty of plates, glasses, cups etc. Also some handy beach items. It may be good to know that there is Aircon in the master bedroom and the living room, but not in the other two bedrooms. There is a fan for one of those rooms, but the other was without. The first few days it was 40C so these two bedrooms were very hot then but when the weather turned more normal both bedrooms became more manageable. The communication with the owner was excellent. You pick up and drop off the keys and bedding/ towels from a local agency in town which worked well and is only 10-15 minutes walk from the house. Overall, a very nice stay.

Beau séjour dans cette propriété. Nous étions 4 adultes et avons séjourné pendant 6 nuits. Malgré la canicule, l'air climatisé a très bien fonctionné pendant notre séjour. Comme mentionné par d'autres voyageurs, la chambre à l'étage n'a pas de clim mais avec le ventilateur/fenêtres ouvertes, nous étions très confortables malgré les 25 degrés la nuit. La vue sur la Méditerranée est imprenable et le logement est très bien équipé. La communication avec l'hôte ainsi que l'agence s'est très bien passé. Le fait d'être seulement à 5 minutes à pied de la mer était tout simplement génial. À noter que les douches et toilettes principales se trouvent à l'étage inférieur (environ 6 marches pour descendre) et il y a 1 ou 2 marches pour y accéder à partir des chambres. Cela n'était pas évident pour mon père qui est assez âgé/peu mobile mais cela n'a pas gâché notre voyage aucunement. Je recommande cet hébergement sans hésitation.

Logement très confortable, bien aménagée et bien équipée

notre séjour aurait été parfait si la température extérieure n'avait pas été si élevée surtout la nuit et les clims partiellement en panne.Dans des conditions pareilles il aurait fallu que toutes les pièces soient climatisées. Un ventilateur nous a été fourni, les enfants s'en sont satisfaits.

defekte Klimaanlage

Das Haus ist gut gelegen und entspricht mehr oder weniger der Beschreibung. Allerdings war die Klimaanlage im Wohnzimmer defekt und die Agentur hat sich nicht darum gekümmert. Es war ein genauer Zeitpunkt vereinbart, dass jemand kommt und sich die Situation anschaut. Es ist niemand gekommen und man hat sich auch nicht abgemeldet. Es war sehr heiss und wir litten unter dem Defekt der Klimaanlage, die wir ja immerhin im Mietzins mitbezahlt hatten. Das Haus war nicht gerade günstig! Die Sauberkeit war einigermassen, es könnte besser sein. Die Lage dagegen ist gut und der Parkplatz dirket vor dem Haus angenehm.

Vielen Dank für die Rückmeldung. Es tut uns sehr leid zu hören, dass Sie Probleme mit der Klimaanlage im Wohnzimmer hatten und die Agentur Ihnen dabei nicht geholfen hat. Das Gerät wurde zu Beginn der Saison überprüft und wenn Sie uns anstelle der Agentur kontaktiert hätten, hätten wir Ihnen umgehend mit den Einstellungen helfen können. Mit der 3-Sterne Bewertung, die deutlich unter dem Durchschnitt liegt, sind wir natürlich enttäuscht, zumal sie sich doch eher auf die Agentur bezieht. Wir werden uns auf jeden Fall mit der Agentur in Verbindung setzen, um die Sauberkeit des Hauses in Zukunft sicherzustellen und um zu gewährleisten, dass Serviceanfragen direkt an uns weiterzuleitet werden.

Maison agréable avec vue sur mer. Nombreux ustensiles, vaisselle, livres, jeux, cartes de rando. Il n'y a que 2 salles de bains au mieu de 3 indiquées. Le confort des matelas des 2 chambres annexes pourrait être amélioré. La chambre principale est parfaite.

Location agréable et pratique

Le logement de Tom est idéalement situé. Le centre ville ainsi que la plage sont faciles d'accès. L'aménagement intérieur est idéal, les chambres sont bien réparties, la cuisine possède beaucoup d'ustensiles, on s'y sent comme chez soi ! Les relations avec le propriétaire sont excellentes. Bref, tout y est réuni pour passer un séjour inoubliable.

Excellent accommodation with sea views

We stayed for 9 days in this lovely accommodation. It is beautifully presented and offers all you could need for an enjoyable stay. All bedrooms are well furnished and have views of the sea and surrounding area. It has a good sized well equipped kitchen and a family bathroom. One bedroom has a separate toilet and wash hand basin. The lounge is spacious with an outside patio area, ideal for early morning breakfast! There is no tv which we did not miss but some might. We would certainly come again if visiting this part of France. There is nothing not to like about the accommodation. The only downside perhaps is that for anybody who finds walking difficult, the house is in an elevated position(hence the excellent sea views) so the walk from the town centre is up a steep incline or by short cut up a number of steps. Carrying shopping from the local store kept us fit! The other thing to say is that Tom, the owner, was very helpful and gave us plenty of helpful information and contact details should we need help during the stay.

Beautiful appt in a peaceful location

Spacious, comfortable and slightly quirky apartment, tastefully decorated. Would def stop again but as enthusiastic amateur cooks the lack of an oven facility made it difficult to fully experience the wonderful local produce. Tom has been a helpful host providing prompt replies to a couple of queries we had. The property is fully equipped for beach and outdoor activities inc beach umbrella, chairs and snorkels and there are plenty of chairs for dining on the balcony and enjoying the spectacular view of the bay. (Don’t forget your mosquito cream though).

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung in einer traumhaften Gegend

Die Ferienwohnung ist hell und geräumig, gut durchdacht, hat viel Charme und ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Man hat einen schönen Ausblick und ist schnell zu Fuß am Hafen, Strand sowie bei den Restaurants und Geschäften. Die Wohnung liegt in einer ruhigen Sackgasse, wir konnten unser Auto immer direkt vor dem Haus parken. Es gibt zwei Duschen und zwei WCs, was für uns als 6köpfige Familie völlig ausreichend war. Das Badezimmer ist nicht auf den Fotos zu sehen, ist aber völlig in Ordnung mit neuer Waschmaschine und Trockner. Es gibt auch immer eine Rückzugsmöglichkeit durch die schöne Galerie mit sehr bequemem Sessel und die vielen Balkone. In die kleine Stadt Banjuls kann man sich verlieben, es ist immer etwas los, es gibt jedoch keinen Massentourismus. Wir haben Ausflüge nach Collioure, Portbou und nach Barcelona gemacht. Nach einem Tag am Sandstrand in Argelès haben wir uns richtig auf die Ruhe in Banjuls gefreut. Man kann außerdem wunderbar schnorcheln, in den kleinen Buchten von Elmes oder Peyrefite ist es, als ob man durch ein Aquarium schwimmt... Alles in allem war es eine wunderschöne Zeit und wir können uns gut vorstellen wiederzukommen.

A special place

This wonderful villa makes you relax with stunning views over the lovely banyuls .We had a super time here-swimming early morning and late evening was a special treat. The local office de tourisme organise walks with an informative local guide and it was fun to be part of this group. We felt extremely safe here and totally loved it. Fantastic views!

Heel fijn gezellig comfortabel huis. 3 grote gezellige slaapkamers. Mooi uitzicht, fijn balkon, waar we 's morgens en 's avonds heerlijk hebben gezeten en wijntje gedronken. Rustige omgeving, geen lawaai. dichtbij het centrum. Heel fijn huis, waar we zeker een keer naar toe terug gaan.

Beautiful relaxing house, really close to the sea.

This is an ideal base for a seaside/mountain holiday on the Cote Vermeille. Banyuls is a charming small town very conveniently placed. The house is less than 5 mins from the town centre, everything easily walkable, including the beach. You are also in very easy reach for trips into the mountains and short hops over the border into Spain. The house itself is airy and peaceful with lovely sea views. It is very well-equipped, and Thomas, the owner, has provided many thoughtful touches, e.g. games, and even diving-masks & snorkels. There is no TV, which is fine. There is a radio/CD player, but maybe a docking station would be a nice touch for those who would like to play their own music? This is simply a suggestion, and overall I would say the house was faultless, and we had a wonderful stay.

My father first fell in love with Banyuls when he visited as a university student, and then, after many visits, ultimately bought the house in 1996.
