The Space

Just 6 blocks from the beach this charming home away from home features a fully equipped kitchen, relaxing bright living room, and 2 bedrooms that comfortably sleep 4 people. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and the 2nd bedroom has a comfy Full size bed. The contemporary styled couch in the living room also sleeps 2! Both bedrooms have a door to access the bathroom.

Note: No alterations to plumbing or furniture is permitted without prior approval from host.

Guest Access

There is a very cute little patio that you can access though your back door. Very pleasant place to have coffee or drinks.

Interaction with Guests

I pride myself on making your stay as great as possible, I'll be close by should you need anything.

The Neighborhood

You're gonna love this location!!!! We walk to all our favorite places... Abbot Kinney Ave (GQ's hottest street in America), Main St. (great for shopping, restaurants, and big bar scene), Rose Ave (great restaurants and cafes),and of course famous Venice Beach. There's also a huge Whole Foods around the corner, right in front of 'La CabaƱa', a great Mexican restaurant with killer carnitas tacos that's open til 3am!!!!! Also, just in front of there, Casablanca....Amazing enchiladas suizas!

Getting around

LAX airport is just 15 min away. The bus stop is one block away so you can go to the 3rd Street Promenade, Santa Monica or connect to the metro to downtown. There is ample street parking and one parking space on the property if needed.
House Rules

Please, no smoking. This is a peaceful neighborhood so please no loud noise or music after 10. Beyond that I just ask that you be respectful of the neighbors and the apartment.
Early Check-ins and late check-outs will happily be accepted if at all possible. Back to back rentals may make early/late check-ins impossible.

Amazing stay in Venice

A friend and I stayed here for a month in October - November and had the best time. The location is amazing, the place is perfect for two people to stay and work, street parking was easy, and we loved being able to walk and bike to so many things. Some nice touches we enjoyed - the lime tree we could pick from, the very modern washer/dryer, the outdoor space we had access to, and being in the same area as the hosts to be able to get quick assistance and borrow little things like a bike pump. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

Enchanting, lovely place!

This villetta is just gorgeous. Comfortable, homey, near lots of places walking distance, near a Whole Foods and Ralph's Grocery. The hosts are super communicative and lovely people. I will stay here again for sure!

Would have been great except for the fact that there was not comfortable seating in the living. Hosts very responsive to our requests. Very clean and kitchen was well equipped.

Lovely cottage in a great location

Very comfortable place. Well equipped kitchen. Convenient to supermarket and Whole Foods. Easy to get to Santa Monica by bus or car and short trip by car to Expo line station. We stayed for three weeks and enjoyed ourselves very much.

Our family of three had a wonderful stay here. The small space is thoughtfully laid out and attractively decorated. Beds were comfortable. Erick was a pleasure to communicate with, and everything about check-in and check-out was straightforward. Highly recommend!

Just what we expected

A cute small bungalow that has been updated with new appliances. Exceptionally well supplied with kitchen pantry items, detergents, etc. We walked to restaurants in south Santa Monica, Venice beach, and more. Off street parking is not always needed here, but it is a plus that it is provided. Just be aware that the small planes from Santa Monica airport are pretty noisy, especially in the afternoon, but not at night. We would certainly stay here again.

Fun Little Cottage!

We (family of 4) decided to visit Venice Beach for Sping break. We were greeted by Jean and she was very friendly and kind. She showed us around and was very willing to answer any questions. The cottage was small but perfect since we didnā€™t spend much time there. It was about a 15 min walk to the beach. 25 min to Universal Studios. Several restaurants within walking distance as well as, Wholefood and Ralphā€™s is also super close too. There were a bunch of Bird scooters but the kids were to young to ride them ... plus people drive like JAā€™s so I didnā€™t feel super comfortable entertaining the idea. The cottage was fully equipped with coffee maker, kitchen stuff and everything else you might need. It was clean and super cute. The off-street parking was a bonus. All and all... it was a fabulous experience and a fantastic little place to stay.

Relaxing, and great location

The cottage is well-stocked, and in a convenient location for Venice Beach and Santa Monica. A very pretty garden with juicy limes, and lemons. Do wear slippers as the heating grill in the floor gets very hot for bare feet. I shall definitely stay there again.

Wonderful home that was artistic and well-stocked

Our family had such a wonderful stay here. The cozy was very comfortable and had beautiful art on the walls. The garden outside was private and great place for sipping wine in the evening; it felt a bit like a Balinese bungalow. An easy drive to Venice Beach, Santa Monica and many convenient stores nearby. It was so thoughtful how well-stocked both the kitchen and bathroom were, and the abundance of extra pillows and blankets. We really loved this place. Thanks to Jean and Erick!
