This 2 bedroom, 2 bath oceanfront condominium at Station One sets the stage for the perfect family vacation. The master bedroom is ocean front with a king bed and private full bathroom. The second bedroom has two full beds, and there is a full bathroom in the hall. The living room has seating for the whole family. The property is comfortably furnished, nicely equipped and conveniently located in the heart of Wrightsville Beach within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. You’ll enjoy dolphin watching from the covered balcony and easy access to the pool, ocean and tennis court.

Best location in Wrightsville!!!

Was perfect!!! We love station one and the amenities. Some minor issues in the unit. The one blind in the living room didnt work, shower head in master is very loose, Rugs and couches could use a good scrubbing. Layout is perfect, kitchen is very nice. The boys loved it. I love sitting on the balcony in the mornings.

Beautiful accommodations with excellent amenities

We all enjoyed the comfort and extensive amenities of Station One condominiums. The view, the pool, proximity to the ocean and security of the building were terrific. The loading/unloading area with luggage carts was very convenient. We would stay here again.

Great beach getaway for shorter term rentals

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a perfect 2 bedroom, 2 bath spot with the addition of in an in unit washer/dryer, which is rare at this condo location. It's well appointed, clean, and you can't beat the location. It's on the first floor, but it's safe, and has a nice little balcony where you can see the ocean- but don't expect panoramic views, as it's lower down. It was plenty for me. I stayed long term, and had some troubles with construction nearby, which was unforseeable by the realty company. They were able to get me a small reimubursement, and it all worked out fine. Intracoastal is very helpful with holding onto mail, and taking care of anything that goes wrong very promptly.

Unfortunately, the lack of a keyless, code system for doors and access adds stress to families that have to deal with the logistics of only 2 keys across many people, negatively impacting the vacation experience.

Pretty good condo rental

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is updated and pretty nice! The screen door to the deck kept coming off the rails but we just took it off so as to not deal with it. You need to know if you are going to stay at Station One condo resort, it's in the busiest area of the island. The key system to get in/out of the building is a complete pain in the ***!! Needs to be updated to code system badly.

Disappointing

Station One is a very gated community. There are locked doors everywhere. The keys did not work to the pedestrian walk way and when i told the guard, they said there was a work order and maintenance had not fixed the locks, yet. The pool was closed and Intracoastal vacation rentals did not tell us. It was frustrating

Plenty of dishes/kitchen items for eating meals in. The pool was great too! My only complaint would be that the ceiling fan in the master was noisy (too noisy for us to utilize) but other than that it was a great place and great location.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just completed a week long stay at Station One (Unit 1D). This was the second time in 3 years that we’ve stayed there. This was a great unit, lots of upgrades, very well maintained. We’ve really enjoyed our time there. One complaint: all the buildings locks are keyed to the room key - yes, old fashioned keys. Unfortunately, all the locks are worn out and it’s an effort to get every door open. It might sound minor but it was a major aggravation.

A great vacation to remember

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit is beautiful. Everything seems to be brand new. Steps to pool and beach. We had a really great time. Only a few suggestions. To the unit owners, a teapot would be great for those of us who dont drink coffee. Otherwise the kitchen was fully stocked and we really appreciated the dishwashing tablets and garbage bags. Also the towel service is awesome. To the building. The keys are really a pain to maneuver. A keyboard system would be much more practical and convenient. Also though the unit had no roaches there were some visible in the hallway areas and staircase so you really should attack this problem. The recycling area was not with the garbage chute so had no idea where to throw that. I suggest it be all in one place, perhaps a second chute. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone with kids.

Condo updates nice but not complete

The condo was very nicely updated and the remodel was done well. I only have a couple of complaints. Why do they expect the guests to buy toilet paper. It seems trivial to me. I'm paying well over 200 dollars per day and I have to buy TP. Come on!!! The only other comments I have are related to why I go on vacation...to rest and relax. Why then do the beds and sofas always seem worn out? I would think this would be a priority. The bed was way to SOFT, ie., worn out. The sofa was dirty and also worn out. I really liked the place and location. Besides my minor complaints it is an outstanding building. The view from the lanai is spectacular. Beach and pool just beautiful.

Reviewer Comments: Check in could be streamlined if Intercoastal hired valets who could earn big as last thing you want to deal with is mass arrival in small drop off point after many hours on road getting there. The almighty kept things humble with rain but boys had blast daily on beach, we found megaladon tooth, wow! The unit is for sale and original wallpaper has seen a lot, great for a week at the price.

Great location on the beach

A Decent Unit, But Could Use Some Updates

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 1D was a decent unit, though it was outdated. The big disappointment was having no access to the deck from the master bedroom. They had it screwed shut, so no sounds of the ocean, even though pictures made it look like you would have that. Window coverings in master didn't work to go up & down, you had to have 2 ppl roll them up & down--so we ended up leaving them down most of the time. :( But Station One in general is always a good stay.

Great locale, horrible condo!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the pool at Station One, the beach, and the friendliness of the security staff. The unit, however, was run down and in bad condition-- ripped wallpaper, holes in drywall, worn out toilet seats, and the kitchen layout and utensils were outdated and in bad condition. The cushions on the dr chairs were ripped and soiled. I would not recommend this unit!
