Best OBX vacation ever, and there have been many

This house is amazing. Everything is comfortable and clean. The kitchen is very well equipped. The beds are plentiful and comfortable. Pool (plenty of deck furniture) and hot tub are perfect. The beach set up was an added perk. The best part happened to have been the amazing property manager. She became a best friend and met our every need. Her dedication and attention to detail is fabulous. We will definitely stay here again.

We received 5 star concierge service from the property Manager Traci. Traci and her husband Don were extremely helpful the entire trip. We had an issue with the internet and it was solved immediately. They also gave us great information about places to visit and things to do. She surprised us with some treats, local coffee and bagels. We can not say enough about Traci and her husband Don. The house is amazing. The pictures of the property do not do it justice. It is much better. We loved our visit and was able to really relax and enjoy our planning and development trip. Daphney Dickey of the Dickey Agency and myself with The Gatlin Agency would Definity consider coming back to this amazing property. The home has plenty of space for your entire family and or corporate retreat. The home is set up very well for couples or families with children. We enjoyed fresh cut steaks and fresh seafood from the local shops. The grill outside was something a chef would enjoy cooking on. Can not say enough about the local food and atmosphere.

Nice place

It is off season. Which make our stay much nicer. The Jot tub was open. There was plenty room that the family had space . The house was on the beach, The neighborhood was not on the main drag. Would definitely stay there again.

A memorable week in a lovely home

Seaclusion is a gorgeous home, perhaps one of the nicest rentals we’ve stayed in during our many summers in Corolla. The property is perfectly maintained and equipped, the owner and housekeeper are friendly and very helpful, and the beach in that part of the Pine Island neighborhood is perhaps the nicest in Corolla. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.

April Adventure

This house was perfect for my family, 5 adults with plenty of room for more! The kitchen was set up nicely and the ice maker was great. The only things that would have made the stay better would be to have a blender and better instructions on how run the entertainment system. Otherwise it was a 5 star experience and would highly recommend and we plan to stay here again!

Beautiful Home

My family and I had a wonderful time at Seaclusion! It's a beautiful home that's clean, well maintained, and elegantly decorated. The host was also great -- she was very responsive and accommodating to our needs/requests. The Home - Great cozy living room area with plenty of comfortable seating for the entire family - Large dining table for all the family meals. There's also a smaller table in the breakfast nook, but we used that as our puzzle table. - Fully stocked kitchen. We have great cooks in our family and the kitchen had everything we needed -- from hand mixer and food processor to plenty of baking dishes. There are even two coffee machines! - All the bedrooms are great with nice bedding and linens. The kids especially liked the bunkbed room! - Bathrooms are clean and the host provided cute bags with toiletries and a vanity kit. -The pool and hot tub area are really nice, but being that it was January, they were shut down for the season. - The beach is your backyard! We were able to use the beach chairs on a couple of the mild days. But even when it was chilly, it was lovely to bundle up and take a stroll on the beach with a coffee. The Location - Grocery store and liquor store are less than 10 mins away - Some of the restaurants are closed for the season, but there are still good options for takeout. The sandwiches at Butcher Block are great! - The beach this time of year is so peaceful and quiet What to Bring: - Paper towels / napkins - Toilet paper - Trash bags - Dish detergent - Laundry detergent Can't wait to come back in the summer so we can have the full beach and pool experience!

Outstanding House

We had such a lovely vacation at this beautiful house! Perfectly suited for our family! Fabulous kitchen, dual laundry machines, beautiful well maintained pool and 4 umbrellas and 8 beach chairs set up for us on the beach each day! Highly highly recommend this property!!

Great location but DIRTY house

The house itself was not up to par, It was NOT well kept at all. Upon arrival we found many cobwebs and dust within the house. The kitchen cabinets were dirty, and there were ants in the kitchen. Also, the area by the tiki bar was filled with dirty pool and beach toys. Additionally the jacuzzi lights didn’t work. They didn’t have any propane in the grill. Also there was a screened in porch to sit in but the furniture was warped and the actual screen was broken and also very dirty. In this time with Covid the house should be cleaned even more. We were told it would be cleaned with high standard hotel cleaning and it felt like a motel cleaning. The location of this property is great in a nice community. The beach and umbrella set up was very helpful We paid a lot of money for the house and we would not stay here again due to these issues.

Beautiful property

This is a beautiful property and location. Was an amazing vacation for 2 families with 5 kids. The owner really went above and beyond in communicating with us prior to our stay.

Best stay at Corolla Ever!!

This is the most beautiful home! Views are excellent! Pool, jacuzzi, private walkway to the beach, chairs and umbrellas provided by the ocean so no toting of or bringing your own, Spectacular views! So calming and relaxing! All amenities you could ever dream of! Plenty room for everyone!! Love Love Love this place! Gave it 5 stars if there were 10 I would give it 10!! Nothing needed!

AWESOME!!!

Our stay at the Seaclusion mansion was awesome! Our leisurely mornings were spent having coffee on the inviting screened in porch. Listening to the ocean waves and the chatter of family was the best way to start the day. Long walks on the beach, afternoon dips in the pool, relaxing in the hot tub, gathering for happy hour to watch the sunsets on the front porch became an enjoyable routine for us. The kitchen was well stocked and the long table dining table was suited for a large group so we only ate out once! The spacious home is well appointed with comfort and warmth in mind. Truly a home away from home. Before our week was up it was unanimous decided that we would make this our annual reunion spot so we booked our reservation at Seaclusion for next year!

Amazing vacation for the 3rd year in a row!!!!

This is the 3rd year that we have stayed at Seaclusion for two weeks with our family! We have been coming to the Outer Banks for 35 years so we have stayed at a lot of places. The pool is amazing, the beach amenities are wonderful, and it's in the best location. There are so many features - the decks, the screened in porch, and beautiful views make for a perfect vacation. The owner and staff are very attentive to our needs and genuinely care that we have a relaxing vacation. I can't say enough - we hate leaving. We are looking forward to next year!

Absolutely wonderful!!

Seaclusion is the perfect beach property for your Outerbanks vacation. It is extremely spacious yet warm and cozy. The ocean views are breathtaking. Each room is tastefully furnished and spacious. The lower level is almost like its own living quarters large and private enough for an entire family. The furnishings are beautiful and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday. I would not only highly recommend Seaclusion to my friends, but I look forward to returning there myself.

Wonderful house!

This house is perfect for large groups. We had two families here: one family of 5 and another of 8. We still had an extra bedroom. I wouldn’t hesitate to come and stay again. It was an absolutely gorgeous house from top to bottom. A luxury home! The kids loved the pool and hot tub. The beach access was great, though I think recent storms have destroyed many staircases down. It would be very difficult for an older or less mobile person to get up and down to the beach as there is a short staircase and then you have to navigate down the sand dune. We did have a few glitches. We arrived an hour after check in and the cleaning crew was still there. They finished up within a half hour. Also, the kitchen microwave didn’t work which was inconvenient. There are two dishwashers and one wasn’t working but we called Anh and she sent someone the next day who was able to fix it. Both things relatively minor and didn’t affect the great vacation we had. In case you’re like me and don’t realize what will and will not be available, make sure you bring toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish soap, dishwasher soap, beach towels, hand soap for each bathroom, salt and pepper. There are towels for the bathrooms and all linens are provided. Just want to spare you multiple trips to the store and maybe you can bring some items from home and save money. Some great things for a big group: lots of brand new pots and pans, multiple knife blocks, 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens, 2 washers and 2 dryers, 2 living rooms (one up and one down) , plenty of seating for meals, a second fridge downstairs. Overall, this house was absolutely fabulous and the surrounding area was as well. Corolla is an amazing little town with lots of good restaurants and entertainment. We enjoyed go karts and mini golf and a ropes course and visiting the Currituck lighthouse. We also took a tour to see the wild horses which was fabulous. So much to see and do!

Beautiful house and well equipped.

Beautiful house Well equipped. We loved the deck that looks out over the ocean. This was the third year we've stayed there and plan to come back again next year. The property manager was excellent. Our group is getting older and needed help with luggage. (There are steep steps at front and no elevator). I contacted the property manager, Wayne, before our trip and he couldn't have been more helpful.

Outstanding house!

We just returned from a week at Seaclusion, and it is a terrific beach house! It is spacious and beautifully maintained and has all the amenities a large group needs, such as two washers and dryers, two coffee makers, etc. The beach is a very short distance away and the pool and hot tub provided hours of fun. The owner was very responsive to our many questions and during the stay the property manager was always extremely helpful. And the house design allows for lots of family get togethers as well as plenty of porches if anyone wants some privacy. We have rented many beach front houses and this is one of our very favorites.

The house was very nice.....lovely and well furnished and decorated....plenty of room for our party

The outdoor areas were not very well kept....lots of debris, cobwebs, dead bugs, sand, etc on pool deck, tiki bar, furniture and outdoor shower area....could have used a good washing/hosing down before we arrived... There were plenty of dishes and cookware, but the kitchen lacked basics such as towels, oven mitts, corkscrew, Tupperware, or variety of knives and silverware knives for the cooking that we did...only 8 knives for place setting... We were not able to obtain the house at 3pm checkin, as the cleaning crew was still there when we arrived at 2:50. They allowed us to unload and use the downstairs refrigerator...however, they failed to complete the cleaning, as I think they felt rushed to finish...the downstairs trash was not emptied...nor was the floor swept and mopped...they did not put towels in the master bath...we were asked to review the home prior to their departure...which we did...and these issues were pointed out...but not completed....we left and went to grocery, so not sure what time they left...it was after 3:30, however.... We would recommend that the pool heater be operational...the water was too cold to swim the first few days of our stay....the hot tub was used extensively...

We enjoyed the beautiful open views, and the comfortable, spacious rooms! The walkway to be beach is well maintained, and the pool area really an enjoyable space for the whole family!

Great

Owner very responsive to minor issues. Caretaker there twice a day to say hi and set up beachchairs. Sounds like the kitchen cooking and prep equipment is being addressed, but totally minor omitions. Beautiful house and all very positive features. Best deck for ocean views. Our group would like to make it a tradition.
