The Magrana is a two-storey detached house located in the city of Girona with a PRIVATE POOL COMPLETELY RENOVATED in 2025.

The house has also a safe and private garage to store your bikes and space enough to adjust and repair your bikes after your daily cycling trainings.
You can enjoy the terrace and the garden in front of the house.

The property has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and a toilet to the common areas.
Four bedrooms has double beds and the fifth has a bunk bed. Three of the bedrooms has bathrooms en-suite and the other two bedrooms must share the fourth bathroom.
Standard set up is to 10 people although the house is up to 14 people because we can place extra single beds in the large bedrooms if needed.

The kitchen is equipped with all appliances and fixtures you will need during your stay. It also has dining table for fourteen diners next to the living room where you can enjoy a reading area or enjoy a warm space with large sofa next to the fireplace and the smart TV.
There's also a laundry room with a washing machine (detergent and fabric softener included), extra small refrigerator, ironing table.

It has 3 terraces, one of them which with a barbecue, tennis-table and outdoor table that allows you to enjoy meals in the evenings.
The whole house has heating, air conditioning and free WiFi.

The Magrana is located in a quiet residential area in ​​Montjuïch's district in Girona city.
Stunning views ranging from the Catalan Pyrenees to the city centre which you will have at your feet.

There's also a laundry room with a washing machine (detergent and fabric softener included), extra small refrigerator, ironing table.

The convenient location of the house invites you to enjoy from a nice walk from the property to the old town through the quiet neighborhood.
You can also reach the city centre by bus Line#1 which runs every 15 minutes during weekdays.

The Magrana is located within driving distance to la Costa Brava (40 minutes) and an hour ago to Barcelona city. The house is also located in a residential street so you've always many free parking spots in front of the house and another spot inside the property.

Had a brilliant stay at this villa with our cycling friends. Great communication with the owner throughout and we loved the spaciousness of this stylish and comfortable home. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay within walking distance of beautiful Girona and the surrounding area

Spacious and comfortable house

The owner made us very welcome and kept in touch before, during and at the rnd of the stay. The house is spacious, clean and caters for larger groups very well. Location is just 15 min walk from the cathederal and all if the bars. Pool was great, given the july temperatures. Supermarket is a few hundred yards away too Highly recommended.

Neat house in a nice location, perfect for big groups

We had a really nice stay in this house with a group of 13 people. The house is neat and well furnished. Lluis was always available for questions and very reliable. I can also recommend the Paella dinner which is provided by a professional cook who can be booked via Lluis.

Alexander was a great guest, very responsible, perfect to lead a large cycling group. They made daily cycling routes and used the house as a base for doing that. Nice group, good communication with and followed the house's rules. They left the house very clean and tidy. Highly recommend Alexander and his mates to everyone!

Nice house, good pool, great host

La Magrana is a lovely house, well equiipped and with a great swimming pool, overlooked by a terrace and a balcony. Lluis was a perfect host, friendly and helpful.Girona is an interesting city. It is in walking distance and there is a local bus that stops nearby. But it is also a hilly city and any trip involves a lot of steps and stairs.In by bus and back by taxi worked well for us.

Cycling stay

The house is beautiful and perfectly equipped. The view from up high is wonderful. If you come to stay for cycling, take in account that you will have a last climb to make. There is a bus to get to the center and swimming pools

A Great Week

Lovely property on a hillside but only about 15 - 20 mins walk into the Old Town, which is stunning. Very comfortable villa, enjoyed the table tennis in particular as teens loved the competition and it broke up the time around the lovely pool. Walk in to town is a work out but helped balance out the extra food and drink you're likely to indulge in, whilst on holiday. Lluis very helpful and gave us lots of tips about the location. Girona well cycling

Excellent host - very informative and helpful. Garage to store bikes was great. Cycling was fantastic. The cycle climb up to the villa was hard work but we got used to it. Taxi back from City at night was around 10. Communication at all time with the owner was superb.

Beautiful and relaxing Girona getaway!

Lluis met us at the property and gave us a thorough tour, including helpful tips on where to go in Girona, the location of the best walking paths down to the city center, restaurant suggestions, etc. An extremely friendly and helpful host! The house itself is well maintained, and quite comfortable. It easily accommodated our party of 8, with room to spare. The pool was a lovely escape from the heat, and a special treat for our kids. The views from the house (especially the upstairs terraces at night) were spectacular. I would recommend this place without reservations. Thanks, Lluis!

Rov and his family have been a great guests. Most of them were children and even so they took care of the house. They left the house in a good shape, clean and tidy. They followed the house's rules and good communication with. To have had Rov as a guest was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Rov to all the owners.

Great homebase for cycling or touristing

The highlight of this trip was Lluis, the property owner. From the time I reserved it until he met us on arrival, he was super responsive and helpful. A true treat. Gave us some Catalonia history and kept us laughing. The house itself was perfect for a large group. Five bedroom with four showers - kind of unheard of in Europe. Great patio and view from it. Grocery store within walking distance. We cycled every day and the hill back home was a not-welcome challenge but totally doable. Bus line is a five minute walk. And my favorite ride was a windy, small lane country road just off the other side of the hill. Five out of five stars!

Could not be happier!

It was hot in Girona in June, so we wanted a place with a pool, especially since it was a cycling trip and we knew we would need to cool down afterwards. This house was incredible. Everything worked great... the outside grill, the pool, the table tennis, the washer, the air conditioning and the coffee machine! We also loved that it was fairly close to a wonderful coffee shop and grocery store up the hill on Mont Juic. In terms of the location... it is a tough walk up 'the snake' road to get to the house, but the bus stop is not too far away and that works out pretty well (runs every 15 minutes during daytime) And best of all, Lluis was amazing. He gave us some great advice and was just a joy to work with.

De locatie van de villa was prima. We hadden een fraai uitzicht over Girona en de omgeving. De eigenaar (Lluis) was geweldig. Hij was erg vriendelijk en altijd bereid om direct te helpen bij voorkomende vragen!

Toller Ort für eine große Gruppe

Wir waren mit fünf Erwachsenen, drei Kindern und einem Hund dort und haben die Zeit genossen. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig in einer Sackgasse über den Dächern von Girona.Über einige Treppen kann man in die Stadt laufen oder auch mit der Buslinie 1 fahren. Das Haus ist sehr groß und hat viele unterschiedliche Sitzmöglichkeiten, innen und außen. Auch wenn es in die Jahre gekommen ist, hat es immer noch sehr viel Charme und vor allem war es sauber. Wir haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet, wir haben viel selber gekocht. Die Kinder fanden den Pool toll, dieser liegt auf der unteren Ebene und ist Kindersicher abgetrennt. Eine große Garage bietet Platz für die Fahrräder. Vielen Dank auch an Luis, den Vermieter, er war sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Insgesamt ein toller Ort für alle Beteiligten.

Superbe endroit

Très belle et grande maison située qu’à quelques minutes de la vielles ville de Gérone. Nous étions des amis en vacances de vélo et nous avons pu découvrir cette superbe région de cyclisme. Nous en retenons que d’excellents souvenirs.

Grande villa avec vue. Propriétaire super sympa.

Le propriétaire Lluis est très sympa. Il nous a donné les bons plans lors de notre arrivée. La villa est vraiment grande et possède une belle terrasse surplombant la piscine avec une superbe vue sur la vallée. On peut se rendre au centre ville en bus (5min) ou à pied (20min) par un petit chemin très sympa.

Amazing views with perfect views

Amazing villa with so much space and stunning views over Girona. Great for a group. 4 doubles and 1 bunk and single Owner went above and beyond and was the most pleasant and helpful owner I have had the pleasure of knowing Can't recommend this place enough

Lluis ist ein aufmerksamer Vermieter, der jederzeit hilfreich zur Seite stand und viele Tipps hatte. Das Haus ist für uns mit 4 Paaren und einem Baby perfekt gewesen. Es bietet großzügigen Platz, eine gut bestückte Küche und eine schöne Außenanlage. Wir haben die Tischtennisplatte und den Grill geliebt. Wenn unser Reiseziel nochmal Girona wird, würden wir es wieder wählen.

The place to be for cyclists

We stayed for one week. The host Lluis is friendly and very helpful. We arrived early Sunday and it was no problem to leave our luggage in garage to go for our first ride. The house is nice and the rooms are equipped very good. The stairs downwards the house to the garage are a bit slippery, especially on cycling shoes (Lluis warned us for this). The house is just on 20 minutes walking distance from the city of Girona. Lluis thank you letting us stay in this nice house. Probably we will come back because besides the house the environment of Girona is lovely. Regards Harry (and friends).

Love! Love! Love!

First of all, the house is even nicer than it looks on line. This is a beautiful mid-century modern home restored to absolute perfection. Lluis is the ultimate host and was very helpful with planning our stay in Girona. Girona is an absolute gem. We walked down to town every day and took taxis back at up night. Other notable wonders about the house: really cold air conditioning, a built in espresso maker and milk frother, lovely hot showers and nice linens. I’m already planning a trip back with my husband. I actually like Girona better than Barcelona and next time will plan on day trips by train to see the Barcelona sights.

Meget dejligt hus

Super fint hus med dejlige terasser og god pool. Meget sød og hjælpsom vært, der gerne hjælper med både stort og småt! Girona er en dejlig by, men lidt langt at gå til byen med børn.

A Great Week

The house is tucked on the hillside of Montjuic with a view of the whole valley and a glimpse of the Cathedral. A bit difficult to find on the first time so pay attention to Lluis's directions. The (not large) pool was perfect. Lluis was very helpful, accomodating and friendly and we managed to sort out a few little problems like missing dishes etc. There should be more towels and the pillows (Ikea) were tiny and very soft. We were 5 adults and 3 kids and there was plenty of room and privacy and our stay was very enjoyable. A lovely place in an alomst rural setting - but there are a couple of large supermarkets nearby - especially the Carrefour. The walk downhill into town is really nice and takes you right to the Cathedral and beyond. Going back we took taxies which are easy to find near Independence square. Lluis had good suggestions and directions - thank you, Lluis! On the whole we had a very good week at La Magrana.
