We have had a lovely stay in this quaint villa, the hosts are very friendly. The pool is a lovely bonus much needed on the hot days. It’s-a short walk into Begur which is a lovely village. I would recommend staying here.

Lovely place for a family holiday!

We spent a very nice week in this charming studio in Begur. The garden with the pool is lovely and perfect when traveling with children (ours are 5 and 10 years old). Loved having a long breakfast under the trees in the garden while the children enjoyed the pool. In the afternoon it was great to take the car to one of the nearby beaches, enjoying stunning views of the coast during the drive. Some evenings we walked for 10 minutes to the center of Begur for dinner in a restaurant, and some evenings we stayed at home and had a barbecue in the garden. The kitchen was quite well-equipped, the wifi worked perfectly, everything in the studio was nice and clean and we got warmly welcomed by Josep and Sandra. We really recommend this place!

Incredible host, comfortable and private lodging, excellent location

We were fortunate to spend 4 night at Jose and Sandra's "casita". The accommodations were spotless, and the space was ample for a couple with 1 or 2 children. The pool and surrounding area were without fault and very private. It was an easy walk to Begur and a grocery store was within 500 meters. An easy drive to various beaches, medieval villages and back to Barcelona made this an ideal location. Lastly, the hospitality extended by the host family went well beyond our highest expectations!

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans ce magnifique petit appartement attenant à une magnifique villa de Begur. Nous disposions du rdc avec accès direct et privatif à la piscine. Tout était top intérieur frais extérieur avec espaces ombragés et solarium autour de la piscine. La communication avec Josep et Sandra était parfaite, des personnes très gentils et sympathiques. Merci encore pour votre gentillesse et toutes vos petites attentions . Begur et ses alentours sont très charmants, nous en avons pris plein les yeux sur les sentiers côtiers donnant sur de magnifiques criques. Des paysages dignes de cartes postales. Nous vous recommandons vivement !

Tolle Unterkunft bei sehr netten und zuvorkommenden Gastgebern

Bei unserem 14-tägigen Aufenthalt haben wir uns in Begur bei Sandra und Jose Maria sehr wohl gefühlt: Angefangen bei der Freundlichkeit und Zuvorkommenheit unserer Gastgeber und einem Willkommensgruß in der Küche über das saubere, gut eingerichtete Studio bis hin zur großen Terrasse, in der man je nach Laune in der Sonne oder im Schatten der großen Maulbeerbäume verweilen kann. Ebenso der schöne und saubere Pool mit dem sehr gepflegten Garten und dem kleinen Gasgrill. Obwohl am Ortsrand in einer ruhigen Straße (Sackgasse) gelegen, dauert es zu Fuß nur eine knappe viertel Stunde in die Altstadt von Begur oder etwa eine halbe Stunde auf einem malerischen Trampelpfad an den Strand der Bucht von Sa Riera. Wir haben sehr schöne und angenehme Urlaubstage dort verbracht und kommen gerne wieder! Muchas gracias!

Con gusto otra vez

We stayed for 10 days in this beautiful little apartment. Sandra and Jose are very kind and friendly. They stay in the upper part of the house so they are close by if you would need anything. You can walk to the city center (15min) and to the beach (30min). We really enjoyed the pool and went for some walks along the beautiful coast. Estuvimos 10 días en este hermoso y pequeño apartamento. Sandra y Jose son muy amables y simpáticos. Se quedan en la parte superior de la casa por lo que están cerca si necesita algo. Puedes caminar al centro de la ciudad (15min) y a la playa (30min). Realmente disfrutamos de la piscina y dimos algunos paseos por la hermosa costa.

Gemütliches Appartement mit ruhigem Garten und großem Pool

Wir haben uns in diesem schönen , sehr gepflegten Appartement sehr wohl gefühlt .Das Vermieterpaar ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit , dabei äußerst rücksichtsvoll , sodass man auch genügend Privatsphäre hat . Wunderschöner , ruhiger Garten mit einem schattenspendenden Maulbeerbaum und einem tollem Pool , bei Nacht beleuchtet . Vom Garten aus ( mit eigenem Schlüssel und ca.25min. Fussmarsch) Zugang zur Meeresbucht Sa Riera ! Herrlich . Muchas gracias Jose und Sandra !!

Ronduit geweldig!!!

Allereerst de eigenaren, Josep en Sandra, wat een geweldig lieve mensen, we voelden ons gelijk thuis. Ik was samen met mijn volwassen kinderen hier 10 dagen en wij wilden niet meer weg. Het huis, het zwembad, de tuin, de rust en privacy, allemaal super! Josep en Sandra hebben ons meegenomen voor een geweldige avond, erg genoten! Wij gaan volgend jaar weer terug. Alle faciliteiten zijn aanwezig. Het zwembad is superieur! Bedankt Josep en Sandra!

Second time around

We made our second trip to Begur and this apartment after four years and wanted it to be as nice as it was the first time - and it was. The garden with the pool and nice privacy was perfect for our family. This time we knew already how to get around and got also everything out from the beautiful but quite demanding jogging trails. The owners were again really kind and respectful for privacy - thanks a lot for the lovely welcome!

Fantastic villa, perfect hosts, great location!

Thank you Jose and your family for making us feel so welcome at your wonderful villa. The location is superb, in a very quiet, wooded valley. Leaving through the back gate, it’s a very pleasant walk down to the beach at Sa Riera. The medieval town of Begur is a beautiful place to explore with narrow, pedestrianised streets and great views from the castle. The apartment is comfortable and clean and the pool and garden are maintained to a high standard. It was very warm during our stay so it was great to sit in the shade of the trees on the patio and cool off in the pool. Jose is nearby if needed but the family are very discreet and that enabled us to feel totally relaxed and comfortable. My family had a great holiday here and hopefully Jose, we will return one day to catch that big fish!

Tout est dans le titre;-) beau studio avec une âme , un magnifique jardin une piscine de reve

Nous avons trouvé un bel endroit : beau jardin entouré de verdure ,une piscine au top (il ne manque aucun eclairage pour les noctambules jardin'et piscine ;-) à 10 mn du centre de cette belle ville de bégur et à'une demi heure a pied ( via un chemin traversant les colines ) de la belle plage de sa Siera et pourtant au calme ( aucun soucis pour se garer ) .l absence de climatisation ou de ventilateur ne pose pas de soucis car elle est bien isolée. Sandra et José-maria sont tres sympatiques et à l ecoute , plein de bon conseils ( entre autre conseils et services : merci à José -Maria pour les adresses des restos ;-) il savent aussi etre discrets afin que nous nous sentions chez nous et non chez eux ...

Ideal location for Begur, beaches and beyond.

We were very fortunate to book a last minute stay at Josep and Sandra's casita. The lodgings were spotless and cozy but roomy enough for the three of us. The immediate surroundings were tranquil after busy days exploring Catalonia. Easy walking distance to Begur, and ideally situated for trips to the nearby beaches, medieval villages, and Pyrenees. The hosts were the most kind and thoughtful individuals that we have ever stayed with!

Lovely quiet place

We really loved this place, it is large enough for a family of 4 with one bedroom and a sofa bed in the living space which is open plan with a kitchen and dining area. We found it was everything we needed for a short break in early spring, the family are very nice, friendly, accommodating and leave you to enjoy the poolside whilst you stay. The pool and terrace are lovely in this very peaceful location - we could hear no traffic and backs onto woodland so you are surrounded by greenery. I sat out on my laptop most mornings on the terrace and watched the sun come up over the hill opposite. The lady of the house is an excellent masseur, we both had an appointment and I would thoroughly recommend! Begur town centre is only about 5 mins walk (Begur is a relatively small medieval town so you can cover get to almost anything within 20 mins, including the castle). The parking is good being located in a quiet cul-de-sac you can leave the car safe and secure. we tried quite a few of the local restaurants - all good, the highlight was Can Climent Platillos - a fancy tapas place and quite the best thing we tried during our stay - remarkably good, but a little more expensive than the other places. But this is tapas with a modern twist, skilful presentation, clever recipes.

Beautiful Location and Lovely Hosts

We were warmly welcomed by Jose and his family to this lovely studio. I had injured my leg prior to arriving and they were happy to help by taking my suitcases down to the terrace level. The studio has all of the essentials to make it a great stay. The welcome basket with snacks and wine is a lovely bonus. We used the grill every evening and enjoyed the pool. One day the weather changed while we were out touring, our laundry was out drying and Jose covered it to keep it dry. The town of Begur is walkable from the studio. It is a lovely town with great shopping and restaurants. Our daughter took advantage of the hiking trail behind the house that leads to the beach.There is an old citadel that she ran to on another day. We had a wonderful time and our hosts went above and beyond to ensure that our visit was fantastic!

Vacaciones !

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine chez vous . Merci pour votre accueil, vos conseils et votre gentilesse. Le gîte est à l'image des photos , et encore de nuit c'est encore plus magique, les filles se souviendront longtemps de leur premier bain de nuit dans la piscine multicolore. Un endroit idéal pour partir à la découverte des nombreuses criques et petites plages des alentours : une eau limpide, des poissons, de l'eau chaude :-). A bientôt . Excellent souvenir

Un grand merci à Josep et Sandra pour cette semaine ! Les photos reflètent tout à fait la réalité. Le studio est d'une propreté irréprochable, très bien équipé, très fonctionnel et très bien situé. Malgré la chaleur en catalogne, l'intérieur de la location reste frais ! Le solarium et la piscine sont extrêmement agréables. Josep et Sandra sont d'une grande gentillesse et très discrets. (merci encore pour le chupito !) Les enfants garderont un excellent souvenir des moments passés dans la piscine avec Pol et Kilian. A recommander sans hésitation. A bientôt ! Perfect holiday!

In early July we had a very enjoyable stay with Josep and his family. The studio is located just a 10 minutes walk from the village of Begur. Although the weather was extremely hot during our stay, it was in the house always pleasantly cool. Everything you need is there (maybe bring a few extra towels and kitchen towels from home). The house is very neat and the WiFi works great. Also the garden and swimming pool are perfectly maintained. The house is in a quiet, pleasant street with hardly any traffic, parking in front of the house is no problem. The owners are very hospitable, it was a very warm welcome with a nice bottle of Cava and some fruits. For them it's important that their guests feel at home and relaxed. It was always nice talking to them but they respect the privacy of their guests. We were so satisfied from this holiday that we intend to come back and we would like to thank Josep, Sandra and the kids for the beautiful days we had in Begur!

Un bel accueil pour un bel endroit

Merci Josep, Sandra et vos enfants de nous avoir si bien accueilli dans votre maison. Une présence efficace mais discrète de votre part nous a permis de passer une excellente quinzaine dans cet agréable deux pièces totalement indépendant. Les photos de l'annonce sont vraiment très fidèles et ne délivrent pas tous les secrets de l'ambiance nocturne du lieu :). A 10 minutes à pied du centre de Bégur, et à 20-25 minutes à pied de la plage de Sa Riera, il est idéalement placé. Le souvenir des apéros (merci pour le cava et les petits gâteaux) sous les arbres et des repas au bord de la piscine nous accompagnera longtemps. A bientôt pour d'autres bons moments. Perfect Studio for Costa Brava Holiday

We are a Dutch family with two kids( 16 and 20) so high speed good quality internet/WiFi is important and that was top notch. Jose and family are super hosts and made sure our stay was great with a lot of privacy. The location of the house is well positioned 12 minute walk to restaurants and activity in Begur. Beautiful beaches of Pals, Begur, Tamariu and LlaFranca are close by car or even walk(Begur). The studio is just as beautiful as shown on photos.Very nice pool and garden. We enjoyed our stay very much and thanks for the lovely Vino tinto Fam. Frijling

Ideal place for family holiday

We had a very nice stay at the apartment, ideal for family with kids willing to swim all day long. The host family was very lovely and considerate, giving the stay a warm, relaxed and save atmosphere. Especially the private (occasionally shared with the family) garden and very well maintained pool were wonderful and ideal for our needs, as well as the close distance to the amazing beaches of Begur. You could reach the beaches by 2 km nice walk in the woods directly from the back yard of the apartment, but also easily by car or bus. Also for jogging there are many nice, even though demanding, paths starting directly from the home. The interior of the apartment was classical, with many small details telling about its history. Some small utilities, like spices were missing, but all necessary was available for daily cooking and eating. Especially the variety of beer glasses was a delight!

unas vacaciones muy agradables

Hemos pasado unas vacaciones muy agradables. La casa y el entorno inmejorable. Nos ha acompañado hasta el tiempo! Muchas gracias por todo familia. Alaia ya echa de menos a Paul y Killiam. Ha sido un placer, un abrazo! Cristina.

Hola Cristina i familia esperamos que esteis todos bien,como os dije a nosotros tambien nos satisface mucho tener la suerte de que todos nuestros huespedes sean tan correctos i agradables como vosotros.. Por nuestra parte vamos a continuar intentado mejorar detalles de equipamiento comodidad i entorno en lo que se pueda, para que todas las personas que vengan a disfrutar de nuestra finca i entorno puedan seguir estando tan satifechos como todos los que ya habeis venido. kilian al dia siguiente de marcharos pregunto por Alaia diciendo que si podia bajar a jugar con ella,es que la niña se hace querer con su caracter extrobertido i simpatico. Bueno solo agradeceros que nos hayais elgido para vuestras vacaciones de este año de parte de Sandra Pol Kilian i mia, suerte en vuestros proyectos i lo mas importante mucha salut para toda vuestra familia.
