Comfortably furnished home looking out over the 14th green of the Bodega Harbour golf course with views of the ocean and Bodega Head. You can enjoy a round of world-class golf, then have dinner in the Club House overlooking the ocean. Later on, watch the sunset from the private hot tub, while enjoying a glass of local Sonoma County wine, then fall asleep listening to the sea lions barking on Seal Rock and the fog horn in the distance.

Windsong, with over 1,800 square feet, is ideally laid out for two couples or a small family. Generous master suite has a king-sized bed, private bath and cable TV. The guest bedroom has queen-sized bed, cable TV and adjacent private bath. Bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house, offering extra privacy. Top quality linens, hair dryers, washer/dryer, ironing board/iron are all provided. Kitchen has been remodeled including granite counter tops and new appliances.

The well-equipped kitchen leads to the dining area which comfortably seats six. You will also find a wonderful selection of cook books and elegant artwork all over the house. The living room features a huge fireplace with copper hood, and leads to the solarium with TV, DVD player, movie library, CD player and CDs. There is a breakfast area looking out over the golf course, and sleeper sofa for the comfort of extra guests. Glass sliding doors lead to the private hot tub. There is a Weber propane BBQ on the back patio.

Windsong has a high speed internet connection via Comcast cable to accommodate people who want to get away but have to stay connected. There is a wireless router to allow use of your own laptop with wi-fi card.

Bodega Bay is a quiet, secluded, peaceful sanctuary, yet only 55 miles from the sophisticated City of San Francisco. Hiking and bike trails abound providing the means to explore the rugged coastline. Enjoy a walk around Bodega Head or take the Pinnacle Gulch trail, which leads directly down to the beach and which is within walking distance from Windsong. There are many local activities in Bodega Bay, Bodega, Sonoma, Petaluma and Sebastopol, such as the Fisherman's Festival and wineries in all directions.

The house was perfectly suited for 2 people but could completely accommodate more. plenty of living space and spacious kitchen. Beds are comfortable. The best spot in the house is the back porch right on the golf course. Beautiful weather for lounging outside with bay views.

This stay was absolutely 5 stars. On the 14th green with a view of the water. We woke up to deer and quail right outside the windows every morning. The home was beautifully decorated with everything we needed. I would stay here again if I was in the area.

We loved your place. There was plenty of room for 4 people that also gave privacy with bedrooms and bathrooms separated from each other. Lots of room to spread out through the house with the solarium. The/view could not be better. We hated t leave. Thank you so much for sharing your home.

First, the good stuff: Property is well equipped with a nice patio offering an ocean/bay view. Kitchen is nice. Wild life was fun! Lynx, quail, heron, deer and many birds. Layout of home is good, except no TV in LR by the FP is needed. The breezes coming through the many windows were awesome. Overall, very comfy and warm. Now, the first impression was the landscape is needing attention, windows filthy and cob webs, indicate they have not been cleaned in a while. cob webs on ceiling, too. (we got that one with broom) The light fixture in DR has a film and needs a good cleaning. The ceiling fan and bath vent fan, very dirty and dusty. The plumbing is tired and both bath sinks drain slow. Gross! Water pressure is poor. A deep cleaning and some maintenance is needed. Housekeeping NOT dusting pictures, fans, etc. The chairs on the patio are about to fall apart. The slider to spa has no screen and it gets hot in there. Bugs and bees enter when opened. Wine fridge inop. Front door needs a new lock so people do not lock themselves out! The master bed is getting indented with the many guests it probably has seen. Look, this sounds like I am really unhappy, that is not the case, it just needs some of the deferred maintenance done and a deep clean. We both would love to stay while doing the fixes it needs. We are both handy and detailed oriented. The price of 275 per night would not be an issue if things were just a bit cleaner and maintained. Thank you.

We were on a short getaway to Bodega Bay. This house was exactly as described, very comfortable, roomy, clean, and well-equipped. The checkin-checkout was super easy. The owners sent a pre-trip email with all the info we could possibly need. I recommend this facility as highly as I possibly can.

Great house, great location

We loved staying at Windsong! The house is super cozy, well equipped and clean. The location is great, very close to Doran Beach and has lovely with ocean views.It was nice sitting in the sun on the patio. Kitchen is well stocked -- you can cook about anything you can image!Communication with owner was good, had my questions answered quickly!Overall, very nice and we look forward to staying longer next time!

Can’t say enough good things about our stay at Windsong. Prime location, amazing views, cozy common areas, comfy beds… and pets allowed?! What more could we ask for! Our family of 4 (and pet children) loved every second of our vacation, and we can’t wait to come back. The home was well cared for, and Jada great feel to it. We felt so welcome!

Great house and location. Front door needs fixing. Our wives were unable to unlock or open it when unlocked. I cut up the top of my hand while forcing the door open. Master shower is so-so, the shower water went instantly from cold to hot and was mod dangerous when hot. Simple repairs would help guests be more comfortable.

Spacious and cozy cottage

Windsong provided a lovely respite with ample space for the 3 of us. The kitchen was well supplied. The hot tub was wonderful. Nice trails close by. The hosts were accessible and friendly.

My husband and I love Bodega Bay. It is very peaceful and quiet and yet it is not far from San Francisco. The ocean is beautiful as well as the shoreline and beaches. The weather is variable but it's a great place to hang out when the weather is bad or good. There are some good seafood restaurants in the town of Bodega Bay and it is really enjoyable to get a table by the window and watch the boats going in and out of the harbour.

Windsong is located in Harbor Bay South and it is right on the edge of the golf course. There is a great ocean view across the golf course and we love being out on the patio to BBQ and watch the golfers, the ocean and listen to the seals barking out on seal rock in the harbor.
